Loved this property!

Great getaway spot, casita was clean and comfortable. We stayed for a weekend in January and were able to use the pool which was well maintained and very clean. Host was very accomodating and friendly.

Great place for couples

Very glad that we picked this place to stay. It was clean, well maintained and offered everything we needed. Close to a lot of retail and 10 minutes from some great hiking. We will stay here again.

Peaceful, private getaway

The casita was beautiful and cozy. The pool was amazing for relaxing and exersizing. Lots of bunnies and birds to watch. Great location near grocery store, lots of restaurants and movie theater. Host was responsive and kind. Would love to stay there again!

Pool not Heated, & Dirty

When I text to ask about pool being heated the owner informed me it would be an extra charge and I should have ask before I got there. He would not have heated pool in his advertising if it’s not included. I can forward all text communications if you need to verify.

Would recommend and stay again.

Conveniently located to explore hiking trails in Tonto National Forest and area. The casita was as described. Spacious and, despite being on property of the host, felt very private. Unexpected was surround sound system with streaming audio...nice touch. The kitchen appliances were top notch. Kitchen ware was adequate. Nit picking suggestion is to include a salad bowl and dish cloth ;-)

JUST LIKE THE PICTURES!

This was exactly what we were looking for, a home away from home! We traveled with a toddler and an 11-year-old and two adults. The pool was a safe distance from the house where we didn’t have to worry about our toddler reaching the waters edge without supervision, but close enough that when we had family visiting, everyone still felt connected! The water was very clean and warm! When it comes to the household amenities, we had everything we needed! Our host was extremely responsive and willing to do whatever needed to keep us happy. Things we loved the most, warm/clean pool, great outdoor hosting space, and very accommodating host. Really the only negative we could come up with was that the pull out bed is very uncomfortable. But that’s to be expected.

Welcoming and surprisingly very enjoyable!

This was my first time renting a Casacita. It was a last minute getaway I planned, and found this past weekend to be extremely enjoyable and welcoming. I would recommend this to anyone, or a couple that is wanting some quiet time. The owners really went the extra mile to make you feel at home. From the TV apps, the cold individual coffee creamers, to the pool towels! They even had a small selection of board games. Renting in October, the pool was cold, they didn't have a heated pool, however, it didn't stop me from trying! The outside was quiet and though the Main house is on the same property, there were no disturbances, and before we knew it, it seemed to just blend in with the scenery. The outside porch was perfect! The patio table even had spray and a candle to prevent the mosquito's from ruining your evening. I would suggest you bring a couple of folding chairs for the fire pit; however, I'm sure the owners would have allowed us to move the patio chairs if requested. The place was perfect! My grandchildren loved the open space as they explored the area. I enjoyed the rocking chairs as I watched them. If you are looking for a place to spend time alone, or just to relax and getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a hidden gem! Thank you Sandy for answering all my questions and concerns, making my last minute getaway worth every penny!

Casita

This was a prefect place for my husband and I. The host was very accommodating when we needed to adjust the length of our stay. The pool was perfect. The new dishwasher was nice and the new bed was super comfortable!! We loved that we were able to park inside the gate as we had a loaded vehicle from our travels into Baja. We will definitely want to stay there again on our next visit to Arizona.

Stay at the compound

The location was a little hard to find but once in the yard it was very quiet and secure. Outside the pool and grounds were quaint however an empty non operable hot tub was a tease. I would have preferred the hot tub over the pool. The Casita interior was small and efficient. Overall, the interior was a good build.There was no dishwasher, no bowls for serving, the cookware was worn Teflon pans (toxic) so I purchased a decent pan and left it behind for the next person, no towels or rags for the kitchen, the Keurig machine was almost dead, the TV remotes were almost out of power and difficult to use, water temperatures were dangerously hot, the master bedroom door does not latch so it cannot be secured at night, but the absolute worst thing was the bed. Eight nights of a cheap hard mattress that looks like it came from a discount store. The headboard banged against the wall when I sat on it as the box spring oddly clunked under my weight (225). I had to take naps in order to make up for the sleep I lost at night tossing and turning in pain. In my opinion the bed is prob the most important feature of a VRBO. If guests can't sleep what is the point in being there. We did have at least 1 awkward encounter with the owner who told my wife his last girlfriend had her name.

Spring Vacation 2025

Our family enjoyed our stay. The location is very convenient. Not far from airport and close to restaurants and grocery store. Also not far from several trails, and other activities. We enjoyed the zoo and aquarium which were both about a 20 min drive. Grand Canyon was almost 4 hour drive but very worth it.

Lovely Casita

Great little place to stay for a weekend getaway. Pictures don't do it justice, it's a lovely little casita!! Plus the manager was fantastic to work with and accommodated a late checkout.
