Welcome to SWAY HOUSE, inspired by the Mandarin word for water, 水. Water represents both calmness and adventure, and fuels both mental and physical needs. Our beloved lake house resides on the waterfront of Lake Oconee on a beautiful residential cove. It is the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate, enjoy nature and the water.

___ OUR HOUSE ___
Private Boat Dock to swim, fish, enjoy our 3 canoes, and, of course, dock a boat. We are just half a mile from the boat ramp and you can park your trailer in our front yard. Boat Rentals are available at the Marina.

::: MAIN AREA ::: The KITCHEN is stocked with modern appliances and all you need to enjoy home cooked meals. The main floor's open concept seamlessly connects the kitchen with the dining area and living room. The DINING TABLE seats 6 comfortably and is a great area to play games or puzzles in the house. With its vaulted ceiling and multiple windows, the LIVING ROOM is bright and airy and is furnished with a sectional sofa and two comfy rockers where you can enjoy a 50" TV and Roku.

While children are welcome, the house is not child-proofed. Please consider this when booking.

::: LINENS AND CARE ::: All of the 3 king-sized beds have high thread count 100% cotton white sheets, white duvets in the winter and white matelassé coverlets in summer. All rooms include hair dryers and thick white towels. Some travel toiletries are also provided, for your convenience.

::: OUTDOOR SPACE ::: Enjoy a great view of the lake from the BACK PORCH with more than 100 feet of eastern facing shoreline. This means you can relax on the loungers, grill on the deck, and eat at the outdoor dinner table without roasting in the afternoon sun. In the BACKYARD overlooking the lake, sit around the custom firepit on Adirondack chairs to make some smores or enjoy the view from the back porch. The SCREENED-IN PORCH has seating for 6, so that you can dine al fresco and the bugs won't dine on you! All on a mini putting green, just for fun.

Through VRBO, you are responsible for any DAMAGES incurred during your stay. Fees charged against your credit card on file can include any damages, undisclosed pets, and excess cleaning. We no longer require damage insurance in order to reduce upfront costs for our guests, and will bill you for these fees and damages only when applicable.

Please note some House Rules: No Smoking, No Pets, No Parties, No Events, Maximum of 6 people, inclusive of all ages.

All Guests must be respectful of the house, neighbors, and the lake. This includes actions inside the house, outside the house, and on the water. Please note quiet hours are 10pm to 8am and please do not play loud music outside.

In accordance with Putnam County rules: We reserve the right to evict all guests (without refund) at any point in their stay if we are alerted to ANY inappropriate and/or violating behavior whatsoever. Any refund you might want will come from the Travel Insurance that you purchase separately.
