This was a great place to stay. The mosquitoes were pretty bad (no fault of the owners) so bring repellent. We had a service dog with us and I appreciated the owners knowledge of which questions were appropriate to ask to identify a SD and to also keep privacy for the handler. Thanks for a safe place to stay while we visited friends.

Great place! Quick and easy access to shops and attractions. There was no internet at upon arrival to the property, this was fixed in minutes!!!

Perfect little home with all the amenities you need. The location was centrally located with everything you need. The house was clean and Adam was very communicative and helpful. Definitely will stay again.

I stayed for 3 nights, 4 days with my senior pup and we both absolutely loved this place. Exactly as described and it even felt luxurious to us - lots of space, beautifully and thoughtfully laid out with all of the things you might need while traveling (parking, washer/dryer, good showers), and in a prime, quiet and safe location to boot. My dog also loved the little yard to play in too. Will absolutely stay here again.An extra kudos for the neighbors too - on their own kindness they rescued a delivery for me when they realized I wasn't home yet and stored my groceries in their fridge until I returned.

Everything was clean, house was in a good area to everywhere. Was on a main road so be careful just due to other cars but outside of that I’d definitely stay next time I come near!

Beautiful house, exactly as described! Beds were very comfy and house was nicely furnished. Kitchen appeared very well appointed, though we were there for a short stay so didn't really take advantage of it. The house is on a fairly busy street, but the bedrooms were on the back of the house so we didn't have any issues with noise at night. Would definitely stay again!

Family Visit

We live near this house. When all our children and spouses visit,we do not have space for everyone to sleep, so this Vrbo was a great discovery.

Norfolk Nirvana!

We were in town to welcome home our son who was on military deployment. Truly enjoyed our stay. The owners were readily available for any questions we had. We highly recommend.

Family memories

It was very unique and it allowed us some quality time to spend with family stationed in the military in Norfolk during the day. Loved the open floor plan of the house which gave us plenty of room

The floors in the kitchen and living room were very dirty. The photo of the refrigerator is misleading since the ice/water is not connected. There is only seating for three in the living room. In each bedroom there is only a bedside table on one side of the bed. Towels supplied are inadequate: one large towel and facecloth per person and one hand towel per bathroom. The outside grounds were in need of debris pickup and lawn mowing. Fan and light in one bath were not working.

Definitely Pinterest worthy

The property was perfect for us and and our kids and grandkids to visit. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything we needed to do. I love the llama wallpaper!! Oh, the stove is to die for too!! 5 stars!

Great visit and location. The house is on a busy road but we didn’t hear anything from inside . House was as described in listing. We enjoyed the open concept with our little one. Beds are comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. Back yard is big and nice to sit outside. Thanks for a great visit.

Check in was fine. Once inside the house it smelled of mildew which caused my son’s allergies to flare up. Could not sleep well the first night due to the smell. They did bring in an ozone machine which helped a little for thesmell. My son’s symptoms continued while staying indoors. The gas stove was awesome to cook on, of course the pots and pans are never good quality. Did improvise a cookie sheet for a lid. Beds were okay but the plastic mattress cover made it hot and sticky. The place is for 4 people but not enough room for everyone for comfortable seating.

Beautiful place, easy check in/out process. Host was very quick to reply. Only caution, there is a berry tree in the back yard and times we tracked berries into the house and if you have dogs just be prepared.

👵🏾 solo black femme traveler experience 💫

Writing this as a solo black femme traveler for others at these intersections (yay!) - I stayed here for six weeks and I can’t recommend it: - It is priced as if it’s right on the beach and/or luxury and it’s neither. it’s a very cute DIY type place but the prices are outrageous and the hosts aren’t flexible on the prices enough for it to seem fair. I think if you’re trying to spend this amount…be near the beach or a lake or on the moon not a block from the highway AND off of a noisy street with trucks and buses and cars at all hours (it’s off one of the major streets in Norfolk). - Note to hosts: check-in more regularly on femmes on their own unless they explicitly ask otherwise. I’ve stayed in countless homes and this is the first where I had such little contact with the hosts. Regular check-ins make a big difference. They are obviously trying to ‘automate it’ and have as little contact or engagement as possible with the humans staying in their…business venture? It definitely felt more like a business venture than a home. That said! - Norfolk is a cute and friendly city with lots to do and awesome food. I took long walks and felt very very safe and it was fun to explore. It’s also easy to walk to rivers/bays/waters which is a plus! - The house has great amenities: deep bathtub, super hot water, gas stove, washer and dryer with detergents (appreciated this), soft comfy sheets (i slept well!), lots of wood, and a nice backyard. - The interior design of the home is clearly thought out and was very cozy and beautiful. There were times I just sat and experienced the home and it felt lovely. This alone softened the edges off of the price and location. If you’re like ‘yes DIY/super cute interiors!’ ‘yes let’s ball out to be near the highway!’ go for it. Otherwise there must be other cute spaces on VRBO that are a better value and location? Bless.
