PET Friendly 4 Bed LOG CABIN! Golfing, Two Pools, Hiking & Private Fishing Lake!

We are pleased to present The Bear Mountain Lodge for your next mountain get away! Located deep in the mountains of Jasper Georgia within the Bent Tree community, this spacious 3,350 square foot, three level lodge is sure to become a favorite for both families and golfers alike. Newly renovated just like a lodge should be, this TRUE log cabin is filled with rustic decor and furniture. Log beds and log furniture accentuate each of the 4 bedrooms. A total of 6 large screen smart TVs assure that each room can choose whatever they want to watch. The new granite kitchen has just the right amount of lodge feel with the modernization of new appliances.

The top floor loft boasts two KING bedrooms, a queen futon, a full bath and an office seating area. Moving down to the main living level a large living room is the main focal point of the lodge with it's soaring ceilings and fireplace. Yogi, the black bear greets you as you arrive. A full leather reclining sectional sofa is a comfy place to either watch the fireplace or the 65" TV. This main floor also has the master KING bedroom with a screened in porch as well as the kitchen/dining area. A 1/2 bath is located just off of the main living area. Stepping outside of this main living area is a large deck overlooking a beautiful wooded area with no other houses visible.

Head down to the third living area and find a place to get away from the rest of the lodge! This totally isolated area has another leather sectional sofa, large screen smart TV, bar, full bath and the fourth bedroom consisting of a QUEEN log bed. Step outside onto the deck to get some fresh air or just hang out with a drink. This lower level also has a new washer and dryer for your convenience.

High speed internet and WIFI are available throughout the lodge as well as Netflix and YouTube TV.

Did we mention that this lodge is located in Bent Tree? Bent Tree is a "Community" filled with things to do and beautiful scenery.

Play golf? This is the place for you. "Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the golf course at Bent Tree is one of North Georgia’s most beautiful 18-hole championship courses. The Joe Lee designed course meanders through the base of several mountains, past waterfalls, mountain streams, and brooks, boldly confronting the broad shoulder of Sharp Top Mountain." How about hiking? There are different levels of hiking trails that follow the streams and ridges.

Wildlife? Oh yeah. Daily visits of deer and turkeys are common with the occasional mama bear and cubs.

There are also two seasonal pools within the community available during the summer months.

Pickle Ball? Both outdoor and indoor pickleball courts. Reservations are required and additional fees may apply.

Wanna ride the trails on horseback? That's available as well in nearby towns.

Wanna swim or fish in Lake Tamarac? There are areas specifically for that. The lake has to be seen to be believed; It's beautiful.

Hungry and don't want to cook? The Tavern is a full service restaurant located at the golf course and the food is excellent! Full bar as well.

The community is gated and patrolled to give that extra bit of security . We will let the gate know when you are coming and for how long. We also have a Ring doorbell camera and security camera above the garage. Both are located on the front of the lodge facing the street.
