Park your boat trailer here and avoid the launch fee!! One of the larger rentals in the downtown area, there is major parking available here. Coastal cottage features 300 Mbps internet (fastest available) for those who need to work or stream! Spectrum Premier package offers ESPN and other specialty channels. The house is around the corner from city park and is two blocks from boat ramp. Park 2 trucks and boat trailers on side yard and two or three additional vehicles in front. Room for multiple families to stay together. Easy walk to downtown for restaurants, shopping and more. Great spot for scalloping or fishing weekends. Contact free check in via coded lock makes check in/out a breeze. We are right around the corner if you need anything at all. No smoking except screened porch. Quiet historic neighborhood around corner from city park and walking about two blocks will get you to the downtown area.Walk, boat or live like the locals--rent a golf cart! (We recommend you do that in advance as busy weekends do sell out!) This is a pet friendly unit for up to 2 dogs! Pet fee is $50 per pet per visit, 2 pet maximum. If you did not pay a pet fee on booking, please contact us immediately. Evidence of pets in unit without paying the pet fee as required will result in a penalty of $300 charge to your card on file. Please check with us on any other pets. We do require that pets do not get on bed or furniture. Please do not leave barking dogs in the unit. Please pick up after your pet when outdoors. Rate Notes: A 3.5% Credit Card Fee will be Applied

The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the screen porch. The proximity to the downtown area allowed us to enjoy the golf cart parade, tree lighting, and we even got in some Black Friday shopping with the locals.

Perfect location for walking to eat downtown. Good parking for the boat and quick access to the ramp. For us an 11 am checkout would be more enjoyable after a long day of diving on Saturday and the recovery and cleaning activities.

Our Yearly Spring Family Getaway

Turtle Cove is perfect for a larger groups. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes. Washer and dryer a plus. Outdoor entertainment areas. Great hospitality from the host! Comfortable and relaxing. A wonderful house to create family memories. Hopefully, we will be able to return next year!

Laid Back

This was the 2nd property that we rented from Mendy and Caryn. They are very professional and helpful so the experience from beginning to end was easy and stress free. The house is in a great location and that made it easy for walking to all the shops and restaurants. We had 10 people including two kiddos but there was still plenty of room for us to spread out and be comfortable. We brought groceries with us and made a few meals at the house and found the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a boat and three vehicles and rented an 8 seater golf cart and there was still ample parking. The yard is huge and the back patio is enclosed with great seating to relax outdoors. The home is older and rustic not fancy or high end, but it is clean and well furnished and it’s a perfect beach house for a big family. Shout out to the friendly neighbors across the street. Cedar Key is very welcoming and we loved every minute of our visit.

The perfect house.

The house has recently been remodeled and is beautiful inside and out. The location is awesome as it is located just steps from the beach. It is very close to Gainesville and is perfect for going to a Gators game. Some of the businesses in Cedar Key are still recovering from the Hurricanes. But there are still great places open for business downtown. This is a must-stay location.

Woosnam-Walker Family Weekend

We took my in-laws to CK (they live in Indiana) and we had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. They can't get around too much in the heat so the house was perfect for them to enjoy as well. The huge back porch is our favorite part of the house. The kitchen is stocked to the max with any cooking you want to do, and the house itself is just beautiful. You won't be disappointed if you stay at Turtle Cove.

Great place for fishing

The location was great. We go every year to fish on Labor Day weekend. There’s plenty of room for our boat park parking. It was dog friendly fit my whole family. It was next to everything. We will be going back.

Birthday Fishing

We had a group of 6 adults and 2 children (ages 4 & 7) for the kids' birthday fishing trip. The house was in a great location to drop the boat, park back at the house, and then walk back to avoid the daily trailer parking fee. I gave the house a 4 star rating because we did find a couple different trash items under the outside furniture and under the bed in one of the back bedrooms. Other than those, the house was clean and absolutely amazing. Mendy was very quick to respond and was helpful with all my questions. We will be booking again!

Relaxing

We loved our stay at Turtle Cove. Lots of extras in the kitchen and loads of towels for guests. The beds were comfortable and there was ample room for all of us. It is close to the restaurants and shops. We would definitely come back!

Excellent stay!

This house was just right for our stay in Cedar Key. We love the location, the back porch, and comfort of the Turtle Cove Home. We'll definitely have this house in mind next time we visit Cedar Key!

Wonderful New Years & Birthday Celebration

We booked our stay very early as 3 couples go away every year for New Years. I am a New Years Day Baby and we all love to welcome the New Year together. We are all from SW Florida in Englewood Beach but choose another place in Florida to explore every year. This was our 9th "Last Hurrah" which we call it because when we get back, it's time to work and live healthy again. We were concerned we would not be able to travel there after Hurricane Idalia hit Cedar Key. But our hosts assured us that enough was back open that we could enjoy ourselves. We had 3 couples and there were 3 bedrooms so that was perfect. There is also a fabulous back lanai area where we spent many nights laughing and sharing stories. The location was spectacular...pretty much walking distance everywhere. We opted to rent a golf cart because it was very cold and it was quicker to get around. But we certainly could have walked everywhere. The house had everything we needed but we did have a couple of small extra requests. The hosts reached out to us to ask how everything was and we reported back that it was great but made a couple of small suggestions that would make it outstanding. The next day we got a call asking our permission to deliver the requested items. We were ALL blown away that they cared enough on a holiday weekend to get us not only everything we needed but everything we WANTED. I am someone who really appreciates outstanding customer service and rarely do I get it but I did!

Perfect for Family

House was the Perfect size for our Family to gather on Christmas and open gifts. The rear screen Porch was a Big Hit! Plenty of Comfortable Furniture for everyone to sit, relax and enjoy Family time! Fabulous Hosts!! Went above and beyond for us.

Cedar Key never disappoints

We have traveled to Cedar Key for 19 years. This was our first year bringing our grandchildren. The house was not ready for our check in upon arrival after check in time. Housekeeping rushed to get it ready so some items were missed. Mendy did give us a gift card to go have drinks or eat while we were waiting. Nice place with plenty of parking. The kitchen was very well stocked.

A great place for a large family

We loved our stay in Cedar Key at this house. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room for everyone. It was very nice and convenient walking distance to the beach and downtown. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

No one downtown has parking like we do! 2-3 Trucks/Trailers plus other vehicles can fit here. More than one family can stay and it's walking distance to everything. It's super clean and not super fancy but super comfortable! You'll enjoy your stay.
