The great room complete with large fireplace, shuffle board and Pinball is sure to be a favorite. Across the road Is Saugany Lake one of the cleanest lakes in Indiana . Row the boat, canoe , kayak or take a bike ride. Enjoy the semi-private beach, Option to join us daily as we feed and care for chickens, goats and of course Gypsy the Donkey. So much to do! Enjoy! We are 10 minutes from Three Oaks Michigan, 20 to New Buffalo, 35 to Notre Dame 90 minutes to Chicago. ***** Registered guests only, additional visitors must be approved. ****No parties or large groups. ***Must be 25 to rent

The kids loved the chickens, donkey and goats plus the variety of hands on games inside. The house is spacious and outside plenty of sitting options. Being close to New Buffalo / Lake Michigan was a plus.

Perfect Lake House with a Farm

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved helping out with that animals daily. The owners are so kind, and welcoming. The house had toys for the kids and we didn’t have to walk on eggshells by having our kids with us. It was truly a relaxing vacation by the lake. We would definitely book this property again.

Our family had a memorable and relaxing time at Saugany Lake Farm. Plenty of room for our family 8 inside and out. We enjoyed feeding the animals, eating fresh eggs and honey, views of the lake, croquet on the lawn, and daily pinball tournaments. The farm is close to Lake MI and several small towns with many quaint shops and restaurants. Tim and MaryKay were amazing hosts who made us feel welcome. We made many great memories during our stay at Saugany Lake Farm!

Great get away!!

We had a wonderful time at the farm. It was relaxing and a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed feeding the animals and the lake, and the surrounding attractions.

Wonderful family vacation spot

Hosts are very accommodating. The house is spacious and comfortable with lots of toys, games and puzzles for the kids. The lake is available for fishing, swimming and kayaking. Dogs are welcome and there are dog beds and kennels available to use. Great vacation!

I have never felt more at home than here. My children loved this place and it was hard to get them to leave. (There may have been tears.) Great location. Amazing hosts. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot for a game day, long weekend!

We had a marvelous time and cannot wait to return! Tim and Mary Kay are top notch hosts. We loved doing chores with her animals and really enjoyed the fire pit for a s'mores night. The house was warm and comfortable and well appointed. Our kids are now begging us for a shuffleboard table. And we were just 30 mins from South Bend, so it's a great place to stay for an ND game. Five- plus stars!!

Excellent Family Adventure

We had 8 people in our group, and everyone had a blast. The kids loved the toys and doing the farm chores. The teens and adults loved the pinball machine. Tim and Mary Kay were quick in making sure everything was going smoothly and helping if we had questions. We loved our time together just hanging out in the farm house.

We loved our time at the farm. Baby goats were so cute. Our great granddaughter enjoyed helping with the chores-feeding animals, collecting eggs, holding baby goats. Beautiful place

I stayed here with some friends for a long weekend. The property is absolutely beautiful. There is a lovely view of the lake, loads of outside entertaining space, as well as games and a massive fireplace. The location was perfect. There's access to New Buffalo, lake Michigan, Three Oaks, Four Winds Casino. Tim and Mary Kay were so welcoming and fun. They even took us on their pontoon boat. I highly recommend this place as it has so much to offer for anyone staying there. The place is so charming and clean and it's obvious that the owners work hard to keep it that way.

We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Tim and Mary Kay are beyond hospitable their goal is to make your vacation stress free and they do just that. The house is beautiful, the kitchen has all modern appliances, the patio deck has both gas and charcoal grills as well as a fire pit. We were able to feed the goats and chicken, hold baby goats, and my grandson was able to collect fresh eggs and wash and dry them which we had for breakfast the next morning. The lake is right across the street with a small private beach and all the toys you want. Anyone planning on staying here will have a wonderful time.

The Very Best

I am convinced that Tim and MaryKay Hinds Saugany Lake Farm is what God had in mind when He brought vacation rentals into being. Simply and absolutely a great experience. The enormous farmhouse has been lovingly and completely furnished and decorated, and the huge space has an intimate feel. The large deck with gas grill, the amazing fire pit, and the beach your children will not want to leave are all great fun. The obviously well cared for farm animals and the relaxed and comfortable energy they emit are another delight. I could say that this tour de force was a master class in beauty and comfort, but that would fall short of a fully accurate description.

Beautiful Farmhouse Gem

Please stay here, you will love it! We had the best time at MaryKay and Tim's farmhouse! Our three children were able to help with farm chores daily which they loved, we were able to enjoy the peaceful lake with fishing (we brought our own bass boat), kids played on the beach daily, the moms brought rafts to relax in the water on, and we parked the boat in the middle of the lake for the kids to jump off of! We were all able to bring our dogs, they even have dog crates so you don't have to pack one! Often with old farmhouses, things don't work well, but everything worked great here! The pinball game was a favorite of the kids as well! We would definitely look into renting from them again! Great people, great property, great memories!

Nice family get away

We stayed at Tim and MaryKay's farm house for a long weekend before school starts. They are wonderful hosts and so great with our kids (5 and 9 years old). Our kids LOVED helping with the farm chores, collecting eggs and peppering Tim and MaryKay with all sorts of questions about the animals. The farm house is a lovely, comfortable space -- the bedrooms are a little dated/could use some love and window coverings, but the beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and there are tons of games and puzzles and toys. The lake is lovely and clean and great for swimming off the floating pier or kayaking. Kids loved fishing off the dock. One note worth mentioning -- the property is close to I-90 and you can hear the traffic from most of the property/lake. They do have white noise machines in the bedrooms and since the traffic is fairly steady, it eventually becomes background noise you don't really notice. We would love to come back next summer!

Pictures Don't Do This Justice!

If you're looking for a private getaway, this might not be for you. The owners live across the street and you'll interact with them frequently. They are downright delightful! Personable, hospitable and knowledgeable. We loved our stay here! Pinball and shuffleboard tournaments on an hourly basis. Lots of board games and puzzles. Evening chores with the farm animals were both fun and educational. The beach is across the street and we had great weather for swimming. Lots of room to roam and explore. House is huge with tons of antiques and knickknacks to explore. Beds were comfy. Kitchen fully stocked for any meal with both a gas and charcoal grill. Plenty of firewood for evening fires.

Relax and make memories

Can't say enough about this perfect get away. There is so much history that Marykay and Tim will share with you about the house and working farm. The house is very spacious, well laid out, very well stocked (everything you will need to make your stay comfortable). We were able to enjoy all amenities. Especially the shuffle board table, pin ball machine, kayaking, fainting goats and all farm animals. I can't say enough about our SUPERIOR hosts Tim and Marykay. My family and I would highly recommend taking a vacation to Saugany Lake Farms. To relax and make memories.

Bootcamp Getaway

Such an amazing weekend away!! All 8 women had a fantastic time and the host was incredible!!! Most kind, generous, lovely, people we have ever met..thank you for such a wonderful experience..we will never forget our stay on the farm!!!
