Cozy Cabin in the heart of Torrey

Come visit this cute small town we call home. We are located in the heart of Torrey, located a block away from the Chuckwagon General Store as well as shopping at the locally family owned Torrey Trading Post.

Our cabin “The Roost” is a two bedroom one bathroom, full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. It currently sleeps up to four guest. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site with beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park. If you’re interest include hiking, fishing, four wheeling side-by-side riding or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery there are many places such as Cathedral Valley, Hickman Bridge, Burr Trail, and Fish Lake.

Beautiful property

Amazing place!

This cottage was fantastic! It was a lovely location with great amenities. The owners were responsive and it was 10 minutes from Capitol Reef. If we were ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay here.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this cabin! It was very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room for our family of 4 for not much more cost than a hotel room. We would definitely stay here again!

Close to everything Capitol Reef has to offer

Wonderful vacation rental, snap it up if you can. Very comfortable and pleasing all around. Great views and nice to sit outside. Very close to town restaurants and the national park.

Perfect Cabin

The cabin was very clean and wonderfully furnished. Communications with the owner was easy and prompt. The outside area was also very relaxing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely Cabin - Perfect Location!

Everything was great. The home and all the amenities worked great. We had a cancellation from the place we were going to stay so we had to scramble and find another one and this was a much better place we believe. Will highly recommend this place to anyone that I know is coming to the area to stay.

Totally Terrific in Torrey

The cozy cabin is the sweet spot in Torry. So close to Capitol Reef with its magnificent landscape. The cabin is extremely well appointed, the property is lovely and the beds are comfy. Rent it and see for yourself!

Wonderful guest house

My family had a wonderful 6 night stay at this guest house. It is conveniently located close to Capitol Reef. The beds and bedrooms were super comfortable. Nichole was a thoughtful and accommodating host. Lots of nice touches around the guest house. It was too cold to sit outside during our stay, but it would have been beautiful to hang out outside and take in the views in warmer weather. We would stay here again!

Better than Perfect

We absolutely loved staying here! The home was the perfect size for us, beautifully decorated, SPOTLESS, and completely QUIET. We thought we were the only people around most of the time…and we really appreciated that. We hope to be back to the Capitol Reef area in a few years, and if we don’t already have our camper…we’ll be booking here again without hesitation! Thank you for making our stay better than perfect! Perfect location for Capitol Reef and Fish Lake

Cute, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well situated, quiet, and private. Nichole is friendly and welcoming. My husband and I spent five nights here while we explored Capitol Reef and the Fish Lake area. We got supplies and “build your own” sandwiches to go at the Chuck Wagon one block away every morning. They also have a convenient laundromat. The duck dinner at Hunt and Gather was so good we went back twice. A stop at the Trading Post is also a must.

Torrey Visit

This is a great spot. The house is very new, well appointed and comfortable. Very quiet and in a great spot. We were there one night and did not match up with Nichole in person, but she texted ahead to us to ensure we received the entry code and if we were late arriving that the place would be warm and inviting. This is a wonderful spot for visiting the Capitol Reef NP and the scenic area of southern and middle Utah. Fairly priced and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Great base for National Parks

We fell in love with this property. You are so close to Capitol Reef which is often overlooked and turned out to be one of our favorites. Nichole was easy to communicate with and respects your privacy unless you want to interact. She has thought of everything for the cabin. I miss eating breakfast in the back of the cabin looking at the mountains in the distance. If you are looking for a base for the parks, in a peaceful setting, this is it.

Wonderful Stay in Torrey, Utah

An absolute gem of a place to stay very close to Capitol Reef NP in quaint & peaceful Torrey. Beautiful location. Walking distance to General Store and a City Park for the youngsters to burn off energy on a neat playground. “Cabin” is an understatement. Impeccable details in comfort and decor. TV, Wifi, top notch appliances and beds. Ample supplies, utensils, etc. Cleanliness A+. Very nice and a most helpful and understanding owner. Great communications throughout. Would love to return when Capitol Reef NP construction projects are completed.

Cute Cabin in Great Location

Nicole’s “Cozy Cabin” in Torrey is just that. It is lovely and welcoming – new, quiet and very clean. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. The views are wonderful: cattle and mountains! The location can’t be beat; less than 15 minutes to Capitol Reef and walking distance, or a very short drive, to restaurants and shopping for essentials. Nicole provides everything you could want for your stay, from coffee and basic condiments to extra towels. She responds promptly to any question and is just next door should any issue arise. You’ll enjoy staying in the Cozy Cabin while you explore the magnificent scenery of Capitol Reef and the Water Pocket Fold.
