Things to Know
This is a non-smoking vacation rental, which applies both inside the home and on the balcony. (There is a dedicated smoking area in the parking lot.) This policy is strictly enforced.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Ocean view was phenomenal! We stayed in off season so there was a lot of work going on in the building and we did not have pool or hot tub access. The parking should be communicated better before arrival but we made it work. Our overall stay was great and the condo was very clean.

Condo was beautifully furnished, directly on the beach with absolutely beautiful views. We were able to watch The Blue Angels practice everyday we were there from our place on the beach. Beautiful sun sets and sunrises every day.

Great place to stay

This condo building is in a great location. This particular condo is great, a little dated, but overall very clean and I would stay there again. Bedroom layout is great with a bathroom for each room is awesome. The reserved covered parking spot is on the second level. Nothing to do with the condo but wish the building would mark off an area for overnight beach item storage vs having to carry everything back to the parking spot or condo. Looking forward to our next trip to Windemere.

Marvelous clean and beautiful place for nice relaxing vacation

We rented the property for old friends reunion. The property is in a beautiful secluded neighborhood away from the noise. Facing the gulf with easy access to the beach. Nice 3 bedrooms with well furnished living and kitchen. Parking was good.

Great girls trip

We came down to stay for about a week for a girls trip and this was a perfect fit for us! Right on the beach with a beautiful view from the balcony! Wonderful house with a nice sitting area for us when we were relaxing around.

Vacasa customer service was a joke!!!

This was our second time staying in this condo. We’ve stayed at the Windmere multiple times a year for 4 years now and love the property! The shower head in the master bath was cracked the day we arrived and the shower wand would fall at random times hitting me in the head. I got to the point that it would not stay in the holder so it would just hang there. Contacted the Vacasa customer service number via text asking for a new shower head on Wednesday morning. They wanted pictures of the shower head which I sent. Had to ask 2 more times for updates throughout the day. At 4:15 they asked if I wanted assistance from their maintenance team. Uh, yeah! 4:50 someone messaged me saying they would replace the shower head Thursday. Message I got Thursday at noon. “ High Daniel, Mina with Vacasa again. Unfortunately I’m unable to grab you a new shower head today I have been crazy busy!!! I am so sorry about this but it may have to be tomorrow instead of today. I sincerely apologize!!” Now it’s 1:00 p.m. Friday and ask again for an update. Response I got. “Apologies for the late reply. I have been having credit card issues which is why I haven’t been able to get a shower head. ( I thought it was because you said you were crazy busy ) I have been in contact with my manager about this. The shower head may have to be replaced prior to the next guest that comes. I apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you updated if I can get one before then. Thanks.” Very disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s the beach so we really didn’t care But…

we absolutely love coming to this part of Florida Perdido Key is one of our favorites. We have stayed in several other Demere properties in the past my only complaint about this condo was the furniture was very used quite wore out. There were several amenities unusable in the house, small things that are inexpensive to fix. we had a wonderful stay in this unit. It just desperately needs to be updated and cleaned a little better than it was. I would highly recommend using Vesca It was very easy to get into the property and communication was great.

Great place to stay!

We loved that this was a corner unit. No noise during the day or night. The views were great and the rooms were all good sizes. Lots of room for everyone.

Wow-spacious!

Overall impression—wonderful stay and beautiful property. Plenty of room for 2 families. Only complaint? Walking in to a filthy main kitchen was a bummer-spent 2 hours cleaning it before putting our groceries away. Coffee still in the coffee pot, dishes looked dirty, and cabinets/counter tops/sink were just filthy. We were afraid to eat/cook with dishes until we washed them ourselves. Just a bummer. Other than that, everything was perfect—clean bathrooms and sheets. There were even plenty of dishwasher pods and laundry pods to use. Highly recommend staying here (maybe just remind cleaning service to clean the kitchen)!

Long Weekend

Checked in on Thursday out on Monday. Long weekend trip with some friends. Had a fantastic time and the condo was just right for 6 adults. Only complaint I have is we had to find parking for our third vehicle cause the condo only has 2 parking passes. Loved the location and the pizza place right across the street is so convenient for those days we stayed til dark on the beach, just walk across the street and get some good food.

No pool

On saturday morning we were told the pool would be closed due to someone breaking a glass in the pool, but that the pool should be open later in the day. We watched and checked, but the pool remained close all day Saturday. When we woke up on Sunday we went back doown to ths pool and it was stilled closed. I called VACASA and they stated that the pool would reopen later on Sunday....another lie. As we were leaving on Monday we saw that the pool was FINALLY getting cleaned. I find it incredibly poor customer service to lie to the people staying at the condo and then act affronted when I ask for some form of refund. The condo itself was very nice and well kept, unfortunately VACASA's poor customer service has left us very unhappy.

Great space and oceanview!!

This place really is amazing! We loved how spacious this condo was for our family trip of 8 people. The balcony was AMAZING! The beach was dope! We had a great time and will consider this area and condo again! I will say that this condo could use some general maintenance/sprucing up as there were numerous scuffs on the walls and stained carpet section, as well as proper TV installation is needed in 2 of the 3 bedrooms.

Do not stay at Vacasa properties

Beach view is beautiful. Unit has very formal furniture and dining rooms chairs are VERY heavy and hard to move on the carpeted floor. 2 of the bathrooms are extremely small. Now for VACASA that manages the property.. Overhead lights in 3rd bedroom did not work, Vacasa sent 2 different maintenance men but neither could fix it. The last one went to get a part and never returned or called. Ice dispenser did not work, none of hair dryers worked, commode in master bedroom badly needed cleaning up under the rim, wood furniture needed dusting. there's probably more. We will never again stay at property if Vacasa is the manager.
