This tastefully decorated waterfront condo has two bedrooms and two baths and is located on the seventh floor of the Carousel Hotel, which is famous for its ice rink and amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, game room, and gym. The hotel has two restaurants as well as a bistro and a beach terrace service bar. From the condo's spacious waterfront balcony, stretching all the way from the living room to the primary bedroom, one can enjoy beautiful sunrises, while the bayside balcony with a view of the city and the bay offers gorgeous sunsets. The open kitchen is updated and well supplied with all necessary implements. There are a full-size washer and dryer. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, while the guest bedroom has two queen-size beds. There are three large TVs and free WiFi.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Decent but definitely needs improvement!

Our overall stay was very nice! However there were some things that could be improved upon. The condo itself needs some cosmetic work! One example here is the crack down the entire length of the wall behind the door in the master. Some spackle & a coat of paint would go a long way! We were given 1 roll of TP per bathroom for a 4 day stay for 5 people! When I asked for more at the front desk I was told that this was a private condo & thus not serviced by the hotel? Thankful there is a Food Lion across the street to purchase our own TP! I also did not appreciate the $50 cash deposit for parking when the facility CLEARLY DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH PARKING! The view of the beach/ocean was nice except for the roof of the building in front obstructing most of it & the loud motors going virtually all the time was disruptive! The condo served it's purpose however for what I spent on it, I expected more!

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at 706. The location of the condo and amenities in the hotel itself were fun and easy to use. We took advantage of the pool, ice rink, and arcade that kept my kids busy for hours since we didn’t have great of weather. We still had a fun and can’t wait to come back in August!

Comfortable

The location was great. Close to shopping. Balcony is a nice size. Amenities at the condo was wonderful. Views of both sunrise and sunset. Not enough silverware and towels.

What we expected

Bathroom and kitchen were clean but main area and rugs needs deep clean. The room is just as advertised. View was very nice but motors on roof were constantly very loud. We enjoyed our stay with all the fun things at the complex and the excellent location.

Just ok

It had a nice balcony area out front. The beach view was "so-so" since it's at a location that is directly above the roof of the other part of the building. The condo itself needs a lot of cosmetic work and it sorta felt dirty. Walking barefoot in the condo made my feet black on the bottom and the carpet feels "ick". So I would say for the price it was "ok".

This property needs a little TLC to make it really great. Floors were super dirty

Beds in the second room are metal pallates with very thin old mattresses. Needs to be replaced. Cleaners did not clean the Keurig coffee machine, water inside was stale and dirty. Th patio was a very good size, could use a larger table for outside dining.

Livable when it’s not refundable

The pictures make it look very nice but a bit deceiving. Let me start by saying the floor was sandy and dirty soon arrival. All furniture has this sticky film to it like it just keeps getting sprayed by Lysol or something making it feel dingy. I sent pictures of the tiny bugs under the kitchen sink along with other dead ones on the floor( look like water flys) with no response. House is cozy but dirty/dingy. If your looking for good enough this is it (I wasn’t exactly) we hav family that actually lives inside the building this suite/condo was so I think it is just lack of cleaning from the cleaning crew.

Pros/cons

Beds and couch comfy. Nice big balcony with nice view of beach. Kitchen has everything you need. Big tv. Cons: Floor filthy. When you walk in it feet turn black. Did load laundry but dryer was broken so I had to put everything on chairs on the porch. Sink and shower drains were mostly clogged. Had to take a plunger to them which didn’t help very much. Shower liner was moldy and dirty. DVD player didn’t work. Most things in the unit are outdated so it’s definitely not kept up to date. Ceiling fan in the master bedroom doesn’t work.

Nice building, bad unit

The building overall had some nice features like the ice skating rink and bistro, but the unit wasn't great. The unit was visually nice at first. It had a wide ocean view balcony and a front street view balcony which was a plus. On the other hand, we found that the dryer did not work. The master bedroom had a strong, moldy smell coming from the carpet. The master toilet wasn't cleaned even though it was marked as such. The dishwasher still had dishes and some still had food on them. The floors were dirty and your feet would be filthy again after a minute out of the shower. The unit needs a deep cleaning for future renters.

Great host

Everything was perfect. Check in process / clean rooms/ everything was included / location….all perfect. Definitely will book again for the next time I head to OC.

Winter trip

This is a great place during the winter as there are many things to do within the hotel. Our internet did not work the full time we were there and no one was able to help. Vacasa and the hotel kept referring me back to the other.

Not worth the price

Good location however unit needs to be improved. Pots and pans are old and nonstick coating is chipping off. Cushions on dining room chairs were filthy. Ceiling fan in master bedroom did not work. Water stain on wall in master bedroom and above that appeared to be moldy. Hinge on cabinet under kitchen sink was broken. Found bloody tissue on master bath floor when we arrived.

Condo was beautiful

This condo was beautiful just a few things I wasn’t happy with.. the cleaning sucked their was sand all over the floor and trash under the chair. The main bathroom shower had some kinda paper or something on the floor which was kinda gross and the view is kinda blocked because of the roof below. But the condo is nice and beautiful if it had been cleaned properly.
