Cozy Home on Lake Huron II is a waterfront cabin with 75 feet of private natural shoreline access on Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron. The shoreline is natural—not a groomed sandy swimming beach—and conditions vary with seasons and weather. Any beach or beachfront platform label refers to waterfront access. Wildlife sightings are possible but not guaranteed. No lifeguard is provided; all water use is at the guest’s own risk.
Self check-in is available after 4:00 PM, or after 2:00 PM when a two-hour early check-in has been purchased and confirmed. There is no latest arrival time. Quiet hours are 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Onsite firewood is available as a pre-arrival add-on for $30 per 2-foot-by-4-foot stack.
Pet policy: Pets are allowed with an $80 pet fee per pet, per reservation. Dogs over 50 lbs, aggressive or poorly behaved dogs, and restricted breeds including Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, German Shepherds, and similar breeds are not allowed. Pets must be leashed outside, may not be left unattended in the cabin, and are not allowed on furniture or beds. Guests must clean up after pets and are responsible for pet-related damage. Host was very responsive and this place was the perfect space to relax with our kids and parents and enjoy the beautiful view. On the water but kind of marshy and shallow, so not really great if kids are itching to swim, just something to note. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Very well cared for home. Perfect location for a couple just want to disconnect from their busy life. Loved they had box fans in the bedrooms.

Loved the view from the deck. Lots of wild birds to watch. House was clean but the bathroom floorboards needed to be cleaned and the bottom of the shower curtain was in need of a wash. Kitchen was fully stocked with things you wouldn't expect to find. All appliances worked. Didn't get a chance to use the grill. Would recommend to others. Beds were comfy and having the fans in the bedroom were a plus.

The cabin was very clean. It was pet friendly and the 3 adults and 2 small dogs all enjoyed our stay The kitchen had everything you needed, better equipped than any other kitchen I've seen with VRBO.

This place is beautiful. The amenities were outstanding, couldn’t have asked for more. I got my time mixed up regarding late check out & the host was so understanding.

Mother Daughter weekend

Anniversary trip
We had a great stay with our dog Piper to celebrate our first anniversary! Great view, very peaceful, and clean house! Our dog loved being out in the sand.

Cozy Home II
Always a great stay in Au Gres, MI. Jeff is great..this is our second time using his rental..we will be back in June again..love the fishing and relaxing atmosphere.

Weekend Vaca
Very nice house with plenty of room. Besides the overwhelming amount of fish flies, we'd recommend this place. Check in/out was nice and easy.

Beautiful views cabin on the lake
We checked in for a few day stay to play local golf. So darn cold, we decide to tour the area for restaurants, shopping ect.
The cabin had everything we needed.
Looking to book to go back in the fall.

So what is it like to stay at Lake Life Cabins? Well....It's an experience everything described and more!! Starting with booking and check-in made so easy by your outstanding hosts (and at a reasonable rate!) easy to find, and extremely clean. Once you arrive, you will be awe-struck by the picturesque views all around you. As you head inside to settle in to your temporary home, you are amazed at just how well this cabin is set up with amenities. You will notice how well-stocked the kitchen is with cookware and appliances, and how the open floor plan gives you plenty of room with enough recliners and seating for everyone to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. Making your way to the bedrooms you will want to cozy up for a minute on the mattresses just to appreciate how comfortable they are. You can also enjoy a hot steamy shower with sensational water pressure as you freshen up from your travels.
If it is a rainy day, you will find yourself grateful for the strong Wi-Fi connection with plenty of streaming options (yes.. Netflix!) But when the weather is nice you will want to take a stroll through your backyard right on the lake. As you fire up the grill for dinner and get the bonfire started (the propane and firewood are all there and ready for you), you can play a game of Cornhole or just choose to relax on your own private deck. After dinner, be sure to go for a paddleboat ride to catch the breath-taking sunset right from the water.
