Good location for what we wanted to accomplish with family. Quiet , nice neighborhood surrounded by oak trees. Jose had everything g we needed. Really meant for a family with kids. One bedroom is twin bunk bed baby room . So not a good fit for 3 couples perhaps. Bright, light and open. Met are expectations. We might be back.

Great house :)

We had a great time and loved the location! Was convenient to the city but also all of the natural attractions nearby. Plenty of room for 5 adults and a child.

Very clean, comfortable welcoming house. A/C works great. Pool table/ping pong were a great touch. Definitely be back!

Great place to stay for an ice and relaxing girls trip. The house was literally the cleanest we’ve ever stayed as far as air b n b’s and VRBO’s go. Owners were very welcome and communicated often. We will definitely be back for a family trip.

Peaceful setting

We had a crawling baby with us. The ranch-style home was perfect for us. It felt rural and peaceful nestled in the trees.

Awesome Lake House

We really enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the games, grandparents loved the countryside. We loved it all. Great location for a Shasta vacation. House was clean, everything we needed was already there. Excellent hosts.

Comfortable relaxing getaway

Enjoyed relaxing at beautiful home for first week of retirement...drove around to see lake and mountain views nearby. Was not able to use bedroom ceiling fan, perhaps the remote needs batteries. Also noticed that toilet runs periodically, perhaps needing new valves?

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time here and house is as described. Great game room for kids and adults alike. Close to Redding and Whiskeytown lake is about 25 mins away. Hot tub and fire pit were a plus too! Owners live nearby and available for any issues that come up. We will stay here again!

Quiet and peaceful

Thank you. It was perfect for us to retreat each evening. It was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were amazing and even checked in on us because of the excessive rains. We called them once for assistance and they were very quick to respond and help.

Exactly what we wanted!!

This house is beautiful! Plenty of room for guests, lots of activities for everyone to enjoy. The location is a tad difficult to ensure you are at the right place but is 100% worth it. The owners are very nice and very attentive to our every need. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to Shasta

Nice home!

Property is conveniently located in heart of Shasta country and is a nice size for 4 women including two full baths. Fun game room off main living room, everything as described and easy check in and out. Wished the hot tub jets stayed on longer, but won't prevent us from rebooking again. Definitely recommend for a girls weekend getaway while fly fishing during the day!

Great Stay!

Great house-very clean and lots of room to spread out. Kids loved the PlayStation and TV in their room and pool table and ping pong table in the playroom. Loved all the details and decorations throughout the house. Has all the necessities. Keurig with pods was nice to have and enjoy our coffee on the patio before it got too hot. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very prompt with communication and recommendations. We forgot one of our things, and they mailed it right away! The nearest boat rental is 10 min away and caverns are about 20. It was nice to spend a day on the lake and then unwind after at the house. AC worked very well.

Nice home in the country but needs some maintenance

Home was clean but needs maintenance - air conditioning didn’t work thought manager did provide a portable AC for main living area only . Good mattresses but cheap polyester sheets with worn elastic. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances with some frying pans that were old and not flat making it difficult to heat! Outdoor backyard - the table and chairs were very dirty and dusty .. yard needed sweeping and maintenance along with dirty BBQ that had to be cleaned before we could use the grill. Game room was wonderful but the pool table was not flat and the balls would roll to the sides ! Sofa reclining chairs didn’t all function. Hot tub temp was 105* - too hot to use for over 24 hours Just needs some TLC for a nice country house in a great location !!

Nice vacation house

We really liked this house overall. The open layout gave a roomy yet cozy layout, and the attention to detail provided by the hosts was top notch. A few things to know though, it is a little lacking in amenities. It comes with just a couple of hotel sized shampoos and mini soaps. Bring your own shower stuff. The pool table is warped, so in case you were excited about playing pool be aware. You can't actually play a real game of billiards. The pillows are like cardboard. I actually went to Costco and purchased some more for us so we could sleep. The beds are comfortable except for the bunk beds.They might be okay for kids, but a 19 year old didn't enjoy it much. The smart TV is AWESOME. it has so many streaming channels, and we really enjoyed it. Ping pong was super fun as well as the poker table. We LOVED the hot tub. You could see the stars at night from the hot tub, and it was so relaxing. The kitchen was nice, although somewhat bare in cooking supplies. Everything was clean and worked properly. Having an ice maker and really good filtered water was a huge blessing. This was a very convenient location close to I-5 but not so close that you could hear traffic. Communication with the hosts was great. They are nice people who genuinely care that you are comfortable. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Shasta Home

we enjoyed this property and its location, we where close enough to the Bridge bay marina to spend several days boating. the listing and pictures where accurate and we would book this property again.

Excellent location and things to do in and around the house.

Large amount of parking for boats. Easy to get to and from Lake Shasta. Lots of games and activities if you’re looking for a staycation. E overall a great experience.
