Good afternoon. First of all, we would like to apologize for the fact that our services and your stay did not meet your expectations. We would have appreciated it if you had informed us directly about your discomfort right away, as we would have been more than happy to address any issues immediately. We would like to respond to your complaints as follows: Regarding pets, we want to assure you that we are indeed pet-friendly, as we do accept dogs as guests. However, it seems that you did not notify us in advance about bringing a pet. We had to ask you, to which you responded that it was an ADA registered Service animal. In such cases, guests are required to notify us beforehand, as the certification of the animal is usually requested. However, we understood that and told you "no problem , everything is ok" We expected pet owners take responsibility for any damage caused by their pets. Although we are pet-friendly, we kindly request that all guests with pets respect our facilities and ensure that no damage is done to the property. Unfortunately, it seems that your pet peed all over the house, leaving strong stains on the floor. As its owner, it would have been appreciated if you had taken the necessary steps to clean up after it. This kind of behavior is insensitive towards the house and the individuals responsible for cleaning. It is worth mentioning that our floors are made of wood and are therefore more sensitive compared to other types of flooring. Due to the prolonged presence of pee on the floor, this negatively impacted the condition of the property. Additionally, the strong and unpleasant odor left behind by the pee was unbearable upon entering the villa. Although we are pet-friendly, we kindly request that both pets and their owners strive to maintain hygiene and ensure that their animals are well-behaved. As a result of the incident, we were obliged to conduct extra cleaning, which incurred extra costs for us. This is why we had to implement the damage deposit with VRBO. Please rest assured that we would never charge for something that is not valid. We have provided evidence of the damages to VRBO. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. I appreciate your honesty, and I would like to address some specific points regarding your stay. - You mentioned that one of the air conditioning units was not functioning during your three-night stay. I want to clarify that our villa is a small one-bedroom unit, and while it is ideal for both air conditioning units to function, the villa can maintain a comfortable temperature with one unit and the ceiling fans. Additionally, I am surprised that you noted you could not use the bedroom fan at night due to the lights being wired together. If you had communicated this issue during your stay, I would have been happy to assist you. Upon being informed of the air conditioning problem, we promptly began contacting service companies. Once we secured an appointment, a technician was sent to the villa. Unfortunately, the issue could not be resolved that same day; however, a new unit was brought in and replaced the damaged one the following day. Regarding the other concerns you raised in your review, I was not made aware of these issues during your stay, which makes it difficult for me to address them. I encourage guests to report any problems immediately so that we can work together to find a solution. I must also mention that your review does not come as a surprise, as you indicated to me that if you did not receive compensation for your stay, you would be disappointed. It is disheartening to see that some guests may seek to take advantage of situations. I genuinely wish you had a better experience and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve.
