We had a wonderful time at this property- it's close to the beach (and near a gate to get out of the property), the rooms were clean and we had everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the beach toys and the family games for evening relaxation!

Perfect spot for family getaway

We were in a quiet location, but could walk to the beach and drive to shopping 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the tennis courts and corn hole. Since we were there for Thanksgiving, the kitchen had almost everything we needed to prepare our meal. Would definitely use again.

Great stay

Perfect for our family of 3. Our son is leaving for college soon and really enjoyed the stay. He said it was his fav of the places we've stayed in HHI. Communication was excellent with the realtor. She even gave restaurant suggestions when I asked while we were there. Excellent service and stay.

Short business trip with a little fun mixed in

Nice two bedroom condo that is clean, comfortable and perfect for a couple or family of four. Fiddlers Cove is in a very nice area and there is a short walk to the beach. The beach is spacious and not as busy as other parts of the island. Fiddlers Cove is fenced in with security at the front gate and walking around the grounds. Both pools are nice and each area has outdoor grilling stations as well. Pretty much any area of the island you want to drive to is within 15 minutes of the condo. We would definitely stay here again.

Jeff

Wonderful place, near two great beaches, peaceful, beautiful decor, well-equipped kitchen, everything you need nearby, staff friendly, quickly resolved TV connection. We are used to a garbage disposal, a second television, and an elevator. We left clothes, were called, and arrangements made. We would stay here annually if not for the lack of an elevator.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay and the space accommodated our group of 6 wonderfully. The space is a short walk to the beach...however, getting over the dunes was the biggest challenge. The host had one wagon in the space (which we used everyday), but I definitely recommend bringing one with you as well. The only room for improvement we saw within the space was for the pull-out couch. The mattress for the couch was not the best, so two of our group members ended up just sleeping on the couches (which worked out fine). We shared this experience with the hosts and recommended a mattress topper, but nevertheless, the stay was still wonderful! We felt safe in the gated community and still were not far from the local resturaunts and night life. Definitely recommend!

It was just ok

The property is older...the beds are rock hard...they need new mattresses... the toilet paper is way too thin... there was no water in the fridge...no ice cubes and no condiments not even salt and pepper. Sorta disappointed but only had to sleep there. We will not be back. Sorry it needs to be better than that!

Dear Barbara, My name is Holly and I am a new property manager at Oceanside Properties. I first want to thank you for trusting us with your vacation plans. I am so sorry that you were disappointed with your stay! The mattresses at this property are memory foam and are fairly firm. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to cater to all tastes with a rental unit when our guests have varying levels of comfort. The ice machine in the freezer was in the 'OFF' position. It's possible that the previous guest had turned it off because they didn't want to hear the sound of the ice dropping into the bin. Our apologies for this inconvenience. It has been turned back 'ON' for the next guest. The two issues that we have also addressed are the salt and pepper and the toilet paper. Our mistakes... There absolutely should have been salt and pepper in the kitchen and we intend to supply a small selection of condiments in the future in all of our rental properties. The housekeeper who cleaned the unit and supplied the toilet paper made a sub-standard purchase and stocked the bathrooms with a 2-ply paper that I agree is too thin. We have discussed the concern with her it and it will be replaced immediately. We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review, positive or negative. We are in the hospitality business and it is our business to a creative a positive experience for every guest enabling their vacation experience to be enjoyable and memorable. I would hope you might consider giving us another try when you return to Hilton Head Island. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and devoted to ensuring your satisfaction. We would appreciate the opportunity to serve you again. All our very best, Holly Cislaw Oceanside Properties
