Make yourself at home in our comfortable and private upstairs apartment over an oversized 3 bay garage.
Fully furnished and ideal for 1 couple with this one bedroom apartment. There is a extra bed in the corner of an open area that’s not private for an extra guest or if you want to sleep separately.
Our Central Maine Town of Oakland offers four seasons of fun all within minutes of our location!

The place was clean, very spacious and comfortable. Having the laundry was helpful, so I didn’t have to worry about doing laundry when I got home late (also, I spilled coffee on the way there, so I’m glad the stain was gone).

The hosts were super friendly and attentive. The accommodations were cozy and quaint. It was extremely appreciated that they had coffee available. If we’re ever back in the area visiting Colby college we would definitely stay again.

Super clean spacious apartment

My second stay at this apartment. Always super clean and convenient to Oakland/Waterville. Appreciate the coffee and cold cream in the fridge. Highly recommend!

Peace and quiet

We were unfortunate that it rained on the first day we were there but we enjoyed our stay overall. The property is clean. The basic necessities were provided. It was quiet and the directions to the property were on point. I just have a comment that the TV can use some updating as it doesn't play the other streaming apps except for Netflix but other than that we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Comfortable apartment while visiting Colby

Our hosts were especially gracious and helpful. Stayed 4 nights to attend athletic event at Colby College. The apartment is exactly as pictured in photos. Clean and comfortable with all amenities. Interior stairs to reach apartment.

Cozy and Quaint Stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gary and Irma were great hosts. Loved the hand written welcome card, box of goodies, k cups, and some fresh eggs in the frig. Bed was comfy and perfect location to visit our son for Homecoming weekend at Colby. We will definitely stay here again!

This property is Fantastic! All the comforts of home, with amenities we did not expect. Some food items in cupboard(soup, oatmeal,pancake mix…) Eggs, butter, milk, water, apple sauce in fridge! A fully stocked kitchen with silverware, pots, pans, and all kinds kitchen appliances. Even a bottle of wine! Comfy bed and bathroom was stocked with all necessities, in case you forgot anything! Plush bath towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Hosts were very fast to respond to all questions. They really thought of everything. If you are planning to be in the area this is a definite must stay!!

Wonderful hosts and a comfortable apartment

We found the apartment very clean and comfortable. Gary and Irma are very responsive hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. We had an issue initially that they promptly resolved. We especially enjoyed all of the thoughtful touches, particularly the food items in the kitchen.

Very comfortable

My first time staying at this type of facility. I did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Fresh flowers, Keurig coffee maker. This was a wonderful experience.

A lovely place to relax and cook dinner after visiting the sights! We appreciated the in-unit laundry and fully stocked kitchen with thoughtfully provided staples from Gary and Irma!

Great apartment for our stay

Owners provided all the necessities for a home away experience including small details that made it an enjoyable weekend. My only suggestion is to provide the VRBO client with the recommendation to copy down the instructions for access to the property before arriving. Verizon service is not great in the area and I had to drive out of the area to access VRBO app and the lock box code in the message center, then drive back to the address to be able to enter the apartment. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Maine is beautiful! We invite you to join us and see for yourself why we chose to make it our home. You’ll enjoy leisurely walks along our semi rural neighborhood. Be alert for deer sightings along with other wildlife. The large spring-fed pond on sight makes for a refreshing spot to picnic and soak up some sun while watching the seasonal waterfowl, including Canada geese, blue heron and ducks. Our rental is clean, cozy and very relaxing. If you like to cook, you’ll enjoy our fully stocked kitchen. Afterward you can head out to the local winery for a tasting, or take a 10 minute drive to our neighboring city of Waterville for the Downtown nightlife! Be sure to reserve a night for The Waterville Opera House! (Book in advance) We look forward to meeting you!

Our location is near both Colby and Thomas colleges, we have excellent non-chain restaurants, and lot’s of shopping in the State Capitol of Augusta - a 20 minute drive.
For antique lovers, we have 3 excellent stores nearby, but you could certainly make a day of it if you care to widen your horizons!
