Experience a stay in the most notable and historic homes in Trinity. Live the history of past ship captains and royalty as you enjoy the elegance and luxury of a 5 star accommodation. This house overlooks the water from three sides, the town beach and is adjacent to Mackerel Point. Located in the Trinity's Historic District this home is walking distance to everything in town. For example, the Rising Tide Theater, the Dock Marina, all the Museums, Gun Hill (Hiking) and all Trinity itself. This home arguably is the most elegant/gracious, well located properties in the Town of Trinity (coupled with great harbour view). Location Location Location!!! Perfect for a 3-5 couples or a large family who are looking to have a lifetime experience. Base yourself in luxury and do day trips in the area.

The House has 5 recently (2017) updated bedrooms-> 3 with Queen Beds, 1 bedroom with 2 Twins and finally Bedroom 5 with a Full size bed. Comfortably sleeping a large group!! The house has 3 full bathrooms and1 half bath, all updated recently..

Garland House has 12 foot ceilings and large rooms. On the main floor there is a brand new (2021) Chefs Kitchen open to a sitting room with fireplace and a dining table for 8. The new sitting area with couch and chairs overlook the harbor and beach. Additionally, there is a separate Living Room with a couch and chairs providing comfortable seating to watch the flat screen TV with extensive cable service. There is WIFI throughout.

The NEW Kitchen/Family Room is fully equipped (Dishes, Silverware, Pot Pans ), toaster, microwave, stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is also a wine/beverage refrigerator.

The back garden and wrap around deck overlooks the Trinity Beach and Trinity Harbor with outdoor seating. A magnificent view with the water and beach no more than 20 steps away!!! An amazing location and view of the Harbor and Mackerel Point.

For chocolate lovers, Aunt Sarah's Chocolate Shop is part of the house at a separate entrance, right out the front door...!!! Perfect for after dinner.. (Now serving fresh locally roasted Expresso and Cappuccino from 10 a.m.)

Three couples from St. John’s

We rented this property we were three couples. We had plenty of space. The house is beautifully decorated very well stocked beautiful views from the back deck overlooking the ocean. We really enjoyed our weekend fabulous place for friends and family..

Great combination of new, historic and location

Eight friends who frequently travel together were delighted with this property. The newly renovated kitchen and great room was a perfect place to gather. The historic part of the home offered comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, a comfortable living room and rooms we never even used. The house is located on a beautiful point overlooking Trinity Bay. The view from the greatroom and the wraparound deck were lovely. The local property managers were delightful to work with and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The chocolate shop is separate from the living quarters but is contained within a portion the historic house. The shop's presence never had a negative impact on our stay. In fact, it was quite convenient for grabbing an afternoon ice cream or some wonderful chocolates for dessert. The house is located across a narrow street from the Harbour View Restaurant, which was convenient and very quiet during our stay, and it is a short walk to the theatre. Hiking trails, puffin viewing and even an iceberg sighting were all within an hour's drive.

Magical place in Trinity

Our group of 10 people had a lovely stay at this spectacular home. I can’t say enough about how fantastic it is-beautiful setting; well equipped, comfortable, clean and just perfect in every way. Spacious great room for gathering and chefs kitchen make it easy for large groups to spend time together. Book it now-you will be thrilled.

Great location for a large family stay

It is a lovely house right in Trinity with plenty of history right there. We really enjoyed the great family room for games and a fire.

Loved Garland House

Wonderful stay at Garland house. Lovely to explore this historic home. Every nook had something interesting to see. Beautiful decorating and who wouldn’t love being in the same building as a chocolate shop!

Very nice spot. Very central to everything. Great to have so many bathrooms and large sitting area. Separate heating in each room is great Dishwasher was hard to figure out

Wonderful location in Trinity

Our group had a lovely stay. The location is perfect, with beautiful views. The layout of the home was perfect to accommodate our group of three families traveling with small children, as it had individual space for everyone. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Just perfect

Look no further….this home is large, beautiful, historic and in the best location possible. The host is gracious and very efficient in communication. The house had every amenity we required and the living space has large windows to view the harbour. We will definitely come back

Great stay at the garland house

Beautiful property in a great location in trinity Large home right on the water with a fantastic brand new addition which had a huge modern kitchen, sitting room with fireplace and large dining area all of which had lots of windows to allow full views of the bay and gun hill Trinity has lots of history and shout out to sarah for a smooth check in, answering all our questions and for giving us a heads up about an iceberg which floated in for us to go and see!!! Great stay and would recommend to anyone interested in a stay in trinity

Absolute wonderful stay…

We were a group of seven Book Club friends celebrating our 20th anniversary and this property met all our needs. The new addition of the main living area was perfect for gathering, cooking and dining. The older part of the house with bedrooms and bathrooms was updated and also very comfortable. The location was perfect and we used the deck one evening to sit out and enjoy the view. The house is well stocked with everything a group would need. We would definitely recommend this property. Thank you to the hosts.

A Perfect Kayaking Destination

This place was a dream come true! Beautiful home, beautiful grounds. You could put your kayaks in right from the property and have wonderful places to kayak. It has beautiful gathering spaces in the home, and it is right next to an Ice cream parlour! Very comfortable, stylish and cozy!
