Close to skiing, biking, beach, boating, restaurants, shops, equipment rentals….

This home is new to our family and we are super excited to put tons of love into it as we renovate and share with others…

It is 10 miles from Alpine/Palisades (Squaw) and 15 miles from Northstar. The property backs up to a beautiful paved bike path where you can enjoy a 2 mile ride to Tahoe City or keep riding along the stunning Truckee River all the way to Squaw/Alpine. Just across the highway are world class Nordic skiing & mountain bike trails for year round recreation. Ready to enjoy the sun, sand, and amazing crystal clear water of Lake Tahoe? A 1/2 mile walk will take you to the north entrance of Skylandia Beach/Park! If you prefer to just relax, light a cozy fire and enjoy the beautiful views of trees and lake while you watch a movie or read a book!

Our goal is for you to love this home as much as we do and come back for years to come!

Communication with host was great! Everything was comfortable and as expected. It was nice to be able to put our vehicle in the garage (when it snowed). The house was comfortable and had nice bedding and room for everyone. The upstairs was nice and open with beautiful views. The firewood was a nice extra- we had fires both nights we were there. We had fun with the dart board, too! We'd love to come back!

This cabin was so calming! We loved the view of the trees from the expansive windows. The kitchen was really well equipped; the beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Jamie was super responsive and helpful as well. Book it!

Fantastic Dollar Point Location

We loved staying here! Our extended family was staying at a place around the corner and this was perfect. The cabin was extremely clean, well maintained, and well stocked with everything we needed from towels to thoughtful amenities like toothbrushes in case you needed it. The host is fantastic with communication as well and that made things so smooth for both check in and check out. Could not have asked for a more pleasant stay and we are certainly looking forward to coming back!

Loved our stay

Home is in a great area and close to hiking and lake activities. We walked to bakery and Skylandia beach and good restaurants are within 5-10 min drive. Beautiful picture window in main living area and the way house is situated on lot makes you feel like you are staying in the woods and not a neighborhood. House does need some updating in kitchen and bathrooms but is really well maintained and clean. Overall a very comfortable space for our family

Lovely cozy cabin

The cabin open space provides a beautiful view all around. It is well situated.in a good neighborhood and close to town. It also provides numerous of games for entertainment for all ages.

Winter Wonderland

We were lucky enough to have 6 inches fall during our stay, which made the views- including one of the lake and surrounding trees absolutely stunning. The owner shared with us that a plow would be coming to clear the driveway and gave us appropriate instructions. The open concept living area had 2 story views all around, which allowed a wonderful view and stay. Thank you!

A cozy Christmas

What a charming cabin! The hosts provided a wam, decorated retreat in the snow. All details were thought of from extra toothbrushes and razors, well marked directions, and awesome communication.

Everything about this place was wonderful! The location was spot on. The owners were super at communicating with us. In addition, it carried a personal feel because it is not managed by a company. Well stocked + amazing location

This is one of the most well stocked rentals I've ever been in, as far as kitchen supplies and beach supplies. We had everything in there to cook some meals at home + the chairs/wagon for the beach were very useful. While some of the appliances are on the older side, I think it adds to the old-school cabin vibes in a good way. The furniture is on the modern side + there are so many chairs in the main area, and the combo of modern furniture + cabin vibes is done perfectly - some places take the modern too far, when I rent in Tahoe I want it to feel like a cabin. Beds are comfortable, sheets/linens/towels all high quality, almost hotel-like. Overall, one of the best rentals I've had in Tahoe and will be back for sure!

The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean and well stocked. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Perfect little getaway

We loved this house!! I rent in Tahoe frequently and this place was one of the homiest of all of them. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The windows upstairs were the best for viewing.. you can see the lake and there is lots of just space. The appliances were older but very clean and usable! I actually loved the stove because you just don’t see burners like that anymore. We walked to Skylandia just to get a great walk in and visit the beautiful beach. It was very relaxing and homey. We will definitely be coming back to this house.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

My family and I had the most wonderful stay over Christmas. Jamie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house is just as pictured. It is warm and charming and in a fantastic location. This would make for a great house any time of year. We hope to be back soon.

Wonderful Property

I had to change the dates of my travel. The property owners are super nice people. Everything was spot on. Linen, bedsheets etc. were super clean and comfy. The property is good as new. The upper portion has all the games for the kids, Kitchen has all the required needs, even paper plates, microwave popcorns. Small things made big impact on our stay. We had the best time ever. I will definitely stay at this property next time we visit.
