An cozy cottage within walking distance to the beach.
Near spot to drop off kayaks and head to the marsh creeks or open waters…or ... bike the many cape cod trails or…simply place your chair in the sand and enjoy a day in the sun.

The cottage offers air conditioned rooms, two bedrooms with sleeping for 5, working kitchen, and comfortable living room with HD TV, internet/WiFi, large walk-in shower and coffee station . Fresh Linens and towels provided.

Outside area offers patio dining, lounge chairs, grill and fire pit. Beach shed all things beach, chairs, toys, coolers, lawn games.

We take cleaning serious, the Cottage is professional cleaned after each checkout and beds ready for our next guests.

The cottage was delightful. Margaret left us a wonderful welcome bag which was very unexpected. She had everything set up beautufully. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful place

Very nice house for our small group. Very convenient to all that Cape Card has to offer. Property is in great condition and is well provisioned.

Excellent cottage close to the beach

Everything was great about this rental. We stayed for several weeks and the amenities are great. Use of kayaks and firepit are added bonuses. There really wasn't anything we didn't like!

Cape Cod Getaway

This cottage was the perfect size and location. For our getaway to Cape Cod. It's such a cute house and in the perfect location to enjoy the beach and to see the sites along the cape. We were able to make a few trips to the Boston area and Lexington and Concord for the historical sites.

We had such a great time at this wonderful and cute cottage! It was walking distance from the beach on the bayside (10 minute walk). Our 3 year old loved to ride his bike to breakfast each morning and then head to the beach in the afternoon. Margaret is extremely responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond to make this place a home for us for a week. We enjoyed the sunsets and going on walks in the early evening looking for bunnies. Also, the backyard is so peaceful!

Fern Cottage

We couldn't have asked for a better VRBO experience. The host was very attentive to our plans, provided amenities for the ages of family members including bicycles, games, reading materials, suggestions for outings, outside grill. etc.The cottage was clean, bright and had all that was needed for indoor and outdoor fun. Out host checked in before and after our stay and when I called to ask a question she answered the call immediately.

Lovely little cottage

This cottage met all of our needs. A short walk to the beach. Close to town. Would highly recommend! (Just needed one extra roll of TP :) ran out on the day we were leaving)

Lovely cottage

I just loved your cottage. Nice strong shower, very comfortable beds and a tv where my friend and I could watch our favorites. A very nice location on the cape. We went to Gloucester and went twice to our favorite beach Nauset. Heritage museum and Sandwich glass museum very close and wonderful to visit. Will definitely come again.

Fantastic

Wonderful Cottage

Margaret’s place was a wonderful base for our stay in Cape Cod. We did several day trips and it was so nice to come back to all the amenities of home. It was a short walk to the beach and the kayak launch area. Margaret was an incredible host - we were greeted with some amazing welcome gifts for both adults and kids, and she was quick to respond to any questions we had about the cottage during our stay. We had a great week and would highly recommend staying her if you are visiting the Cape.

Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I enjoyed our visit. This cottage was extremely clean, in a great area, and was just what we were looking for. Sandwich was such a peaceful town. We loved that the town was close to some places that we wanted to visit. The Loughlins were amazing hosts. From messaging prior to our visit to a welcome bag, we were throughly impressed with the hosts and the cottage itself. We will be back!

Wonderful vacations!

We had such a great times in the cottage. Peaceful neighborhood, plenty of space for the kids to play in the backyard. A lot of games and you find everything you need in the cottage. Really near the beach : it's really 5 minutes to get to the beach! We love East Sandwich and Sandwich! We love cape cod! Thank you very much!

Great Cape Cod Cottage

This was the perfect cottage for our trip. It had everything we needed for the kitchen and the beach so we didn’t need to pack extra items. The host provided tips and resources to inform us about what to do in the area. It was a central location. We went to Boston, Plymouth, whale watching, a tour of Cape Cod, and visited multiple beaches. When we weren’t out and about, we were enjoying the outside and fire pit.

Great cottage

We had a great stay at the cottage. It had everything we needed and more. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful with every question we asked(which were a lot). The place was well kept, clean and on a nice quiet street. We loved the outdoor shower and didn’t expect it would have cold and hot water. Everything you need for the beach is inside the shed. We highly recommend!!!

Great Family Vacation

We had such a great time at the cottage. All amenities suited our needs perfectly. Margaret went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Any questions that we had, she was quick to respond. She also included a welcome bag just right for a 12 year old! The cottage was just a short walk to the beach which was heavenly. The beach cart was perfect to bring everything needed for a fun day at the beach! Will be back again next summer.

FUN SUMMER COTTAGE

Totally enjoyed our stay. Super provided amenities and all necessities. Close to beach. Super sized Indoor shower and Outdoor shower were fantastic. Utube tv had all our watched shows. Coffee station was so terrific and so useful. Ac was very enjoyable with our hot days. Weber grill was powerful and great. Neighborhood was friendly and peaceful. Want to book next summer in July 2024.

Absolutely perfect

This was the perfect location in an absolutely gorgeous little cottage. Everything was pristine and all of the items we needed to enjoy a wonderful week on the Cape were provided for. Margaret was a fantastic host and answered all of our inquiries quickly and promptly. She provided for everything we need from comfortable linens to all of the accessories for a great beach holiday. The beach itself is a quick five minute walk away it’s a gorgeous stretch of sand and there are a number of other beaches within a quick drive as well. Love the location. The cottage was very comfortable with a lot of natural light and we enjoyed having dinner’s outside every night as well as playing games and watching movies in the spacious backyard. The neighborhood is very quiet and there were no disturbances whatsoever. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Setting the standard

This cottage is the standard to which all bnbs should strive. The cottage was clean and neat, the decor perfect for the ocean. The cottage is not on the water, however it is a short walk to a beach. There were plenty of towels and special beach towels. There was no shampoo or shower soap, but there was a basket of ‘forgotten things’ in which we found soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and lotions available. There is beach gear and even a lobster pot and grill. The kitchen had every possible thing you could need, except spices. The house is comfortable for the five persons sleeping arrangement. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The host was fantastic and helped us plan our itinerary by answering our many questions about the area. I just can’t say enough about this fabulous cottage. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return!

Nice family get away

The entire family loved this vacation. Cottage was awesome. 20 minutes from Plymouth and all the big attractions. Sandwich was a great town! We really enjoyed the town, beaches, restaurants and glass blowing museum. We’ll be visiting again.

Our cottage has been in the family for over 20 years. We have vacationed in the area for over 40 years. It’s generational! We love the area and enjoy the beach’s from ours all the way down to the National seashore. . The kids especially like the beaches at low tides with the sandbars and water pools. Plenty to do from kayaking - biking - to bird watching. There are many fine restaurants near by from family style to fine dining. And Sandwich has lots of historic landmarks from the glass museum to Hoxie house.

2022 was our first year renting the cottage to summer guest and we are excited to say we are getting rave reviews - it’s amazing 🤩! A few hiccups along the way but overall all went well!
Looking forward to our next season!

This is a family vacation cottage that when not in use by us we like to share with others. It is fully equipped so pack your bags and come enjoy Cape Cod!

Cute updated beach cottage, with everything you need except a dishwasher. It’s a great jumping off spot!
Also, Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod and is full of history and charm. Looking for day excursions: head to Plymouth (just 1/2 hour drive) or Hyannis in the other direction. Head down RT 6a and stop and explore many town villages along the country road all the way to Provincetown. Ideal location to simply rest, sunbath on the beach or just explore the beauty of Cape Cod.
