Charming farm cottage. Full kitchen. Washer/dryer. Pot belly stove in living room with views of pastures, hills, and pond. Farm animals, goats, chickens, ducks, cats. Pond is fully fenced. Nearby attractions include hot tubs, forests, reservoir; fishing, hiking, 4 wheeling, swimming. If any of your party is interested in participating in animal feeding, chores, or more, let us know in advance to arrange a schedule.

Great place to stay!

We loved staying here! Our kids really enjoyed learning about the farm and helping out with the animals. The house was very clean and accommodated our family of 5 very well.

Simple country living

Very cute and simple country home. Beautiful location not too far from Lava Hot Springs. Lots of friendly animals and wonderful hosts. Our kids loved feeding the animals, and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

You must stay here

The pictures do not do this place Justice The decor inside furniture is very updates and decorated very cute farmy We had a great time here it's very spacious Everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away Not too far from the hot springs and town I actually enjoyed the ride out to the farm from lava hot springs This is a must stay I loved it

Country charmer

We have stayed twice at this cottage. It is quiet and charming. The owners take very good care of it and are easy to work with for the rental. It is a little way out of Lava Hot Springs, but that worked for us to get us out of the hustle and bustle of the Fire and Ice Festival that we attended.

Secluded getaway

Beauitful property in a beautiful area- exactly what we needed. Spent two nights there with my young family. So much charm! Got to sit out on the covered porch and listen to the quietness of the country and watxh the storms pass by. My kids were so excited when we showed up to be greeted by the chickens! Would definitely stay here again!

Cute Cottage

We had a relaxing weekend in the cottage. It was super clean and looked exactly like it did in photos. Allyne was very responsive to messages and accommodating to our requests. The cottage was so peaceful about 10 -15 minutes from Lava. The beds were super comfortable. We enjoying seeing and meeting all the animals on the farm! We would definitely book again.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing time! Allyne, and Raymond, were so welcoming and friendly. Kids loved helping with the chores, and spent the entire time, running around outside with the chickens, cats, and dog. Cottage itself was nicely appointed, and cozy. Although there is no ac, as long as you leave the windows open overnight, and close in the am, the cottage stays cool the entire day. Allyne and the kids picked some fresh raspberries, radishes, and we got fresh eggs as well. Could not recommend more highly. As long as you can deal with some insects( this is a farm afterall) you will absolutely love it.

Great getaway!

This was a great place to stay. Low-key, easy, and only 15 to 17 minutes from lava Hot Springs, which means you get away from all the craziness of being in town. Planning to stay again in the winter.

Comfortable and charming with a taste of small farm life living.

Allyne and Ray were so welcoming of us to their farm. It was a great place for our little family getaway. We really appreciated the daily farm chores in which our small children were included. We enjoyed farm fresh eggs, and the comfortable farm cottage. The views are beautiful. We hope to stay there again in the future.

What a special place! It was so therapeutic being surrounded by the beautiful countryside and all of those sweet farm animals that are definitely living their best life. The owners are so kind and thoughtful. They left us fresh eggs from their chickens and were very attentive to anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Charming Cottage

This cottage would be a wonderful family vacation experience. We weren't able to enjoy everything this vacation spot had to offer, as we had a celebration of life to attend for my husband's deceased uncle. We do plan to come back in the future when we can bring the family to enjoy what the cottage has to offer. I can't praise the host Allyne enough, what a wonderful thoughtful sweet person, just a joy to visit with and so accommodating! This is a beautiful cottage with everything you need in it, just bring your food.

Beautiful cottage. All the comforts of home in the country. Great for familys or just adults wanting to get away. You can experience the feeding of the animals. I would love to make it back again.

Unexpected Fun Experience

We chose this location to be close to the hot springs. The farm and related experience was much better that the hot springs. The hosts were excited to welcome us and teach us the knowledge about farming they had recently acquired over three years of owning the farm. Wonderful people!

Cute country cottage

We absolutely loved our stay here at Kajika Homestead The cottage is adorable and very well maintained. We enjoyed seeing and petting the animals. It's a slice of country heaven, heaven, we will definitely be back!

Farmhouse cottage.

This cottage is very cute and peaceful. Beautiful views and the animals are fun ducks, cats, goats, chickens, cows. Lava is about a twenty minute drive so the home is a ways out from town and stores. The atmosphere is well worth the drive. Hosts were very kind giving us fresh eggs. The cottage is very clean and quaint!
