Good Friday Chalet | Walk to Village + Cranmore Mt

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

The perfect vacation getaway in the center of North Conway! Less than a mile walk to the village's restaurants and shops, yet nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. Furry friends are of course welcomed!

This chalet has 3 bedrooms and sleeps a total of 10 guests. 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, 2 twin/full bunk bedroom (sleeps 4), and a pullout couch in the main living space. Kitchen, dining and living area are open and spacious. 1 3/4 Baths. The lower level also has an additional living space with another couch, Pac-Man machine, and tv for entertainment. Great house for families and friends!

Our outdoor furniture and fire pit are available weather dependent- typically late spring to early fall.

Our home is at the base of a small decline between a set of trees, so please enter with caution at night when it is dark. All wheel drive is ideal in the winter months.

A camera can be found at the entrance facing the driveway, as well as the outdoor grill/deck area. These are all used for security purposes only.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay at the Chalet. It was well stocked and had plenty of room for our group. The location was perfect, actually walked into town daily. The communication with the owners was spot on.

Ski Trip

This house was absolutely perfect. It is adorable and well stocked and is practically slopeside. The kids loved the game room downstairs, the dog was incredibly pleased to join us, and the adults couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Great house, great location

Definitely met our expectations! Thanks for a great stay!! Pat and Kaleen were very responsive owners. The house was clean and cozy with tons of cute details. Plenty of space for our group with 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. So easy to get over to Cranmore for skiing. Kids loved the pac man game. And plenty of other board games to keep them entertained.

The Perfect Stay

Fantastic North Conway Hideaway

Super charming, comfortable, and clean. Ideally located only minutes from the village (and Mt Cranmore), this rental was perfect for our annual girls weekend. It included many convenient amenities, as well as thoughtful (personal) touches that were a pleasant surprise and made our stay more enjoyable and relaxing. Absolutely would recommend and definitely plan to stay again.

Great spot!

Communication with hosts was great, location is awesome, great amenities. You can tell a lot of thought went into setting it up for guests. Such a cute spot for a little family vacation.

Annual family reunion

Comfortable for a family group including 4 children. Great location to North Conway center and Saco River, mt. Cranmore, etc. We all enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and Convenient

Excellent place to stay if your looking for a comfortable home away from home. The owners, Patrick and Kaleen, were easy to communicate with and they have thought of every detail for their guests. The location was very convenient and close enough to everything in North Conway. They are also pet friendly which was great!

Perfect family meeting place

This cottage is private, tucked in the woods, but close to town was a wonderful spot for us to gather centrally coming from ME and VT. Very comfy and the hosts were so easy to connect with and promptly responsive to all questions

Excellent property

The house is in a great location walkable to downtown and a short drive to many activities. The house has everything you need with room to spread out. Every detail is attended to with things like a power strip on one of the counters so you can plug in your devices. The hosts are very responsive with upbeat and friendly communication which makes you feel confident about your rental selection. Would highly recommend!

Mum’s 80th Birthday

I’m so glad that I decided on this property. My communication with the owners from the very beginning was nothing but positive. It was exactly as described. The location was perfect. It was also so well stocked with all the necessities for a perfect stay. The owners think of everything. So beautifully decorated for the Fall. I can’t even imagine how it looks for Christmas . Please don’t hesitate to book this chalet. We will definitely be back again !!!

Elopement Destination

This was a beautiful home to spend a couple nights in for my little family, 5 minute drive to cathedral ledge where we eloped. The hosts are quick to respond and clearly take pride in their rental properties, they even made a booklet with categorized suggestions for activities/dining in the area. Plenty of cozy space for adults and children of all ages. (The Pac-Man game was a huge bonus for our 5 year old son). Would highly recommend booking your next trip to North Conway here!

Cozy home

The Good Friday Chalet did not disappoint! The location can't be beat, and we had plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable for my family and my friends' family. It was so nice to be at the house to celebrate Easter with our kids. Kaleen and Patrick are great hosts, and very responsive. We had everything we needed, loved the convenience, and look forward to staying again!

Absolutely perfect!

We had an amazing stay at the Good Friday chalet! The home is exactly as described and extremely cozy for our post holiday family getaway. A bottle of wine was waiting for us upon our arrival which was a very nice gesture. The location was awesome and even though the weather wasn’t great, we carried on with our plans to hike, shop and eat! We definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Perfect weekend - we will be back!

This was the perfect home for our long weekend in North Conway! The home was clean and cozy. The location is perfect - easy walk to the shops and train station. We enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing cards at the beautiful dining table. The Christmas decorations and fireplace were the icing on the cake for a perfect winter getaway! We will be back in the future for sure!

Perfect Getaway

We had the best time at Good Friday Chalet! It’s in a perfect location, everything is either a short walk or quick drive. The cottage is exactly as described in the listing. It’s extremely cozy and well equipped with anything you may need. The hosts are really responsive and accommodating! We traveled with our toddler and dog, both were really comfortable in the cottage and loved the large deck! We would absolutely visit the Good Friday Chalet again!

Girls weekend 2023

We had an awesome weekend at GoodFriday! The owners were very accommodating in our last minute changes. We had a great time playing pool, shopping at the outlets, and waving downtown. We had a rather large group and we were all comfortable would highly recommend. Also extremely pet friendly. My chocolate lab Piper very much enjoyed her stay, and especially loved the cookies that the owners left for her! Thank you again so much!

Cozy stay

This was a very clean and thoughtful, cozy house. The living room in particular was a warm and inviting place to play a family game, read and even take an afternoon nap. The large and attractive dining table easily accommodated another family coming over for dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a number of larger meals, even a big crockpot. The bedrooms don’t have a ton of natural light if that matters to you, but plenty of natural light fills the living room. Also, the location was great - walkable to town and very close to Cranmore. Patrick and Kaleen were very responsive and left a detailed and inviting book with local activities and home instructions, as well as a personalized greeting when we arrived. We felt very welcome in this home.

Hi there, we are super excited to be your hosts! Kaleen and I currently live in Boston, MA with our pup Mickie. Kaleen is a 4th grade teacher and I am a full-time Boston firefighter. When we are not working, we enjoy spending time with family and friends, and of course traveling! I discovered my love for traveling after spending four years in the Army. During these years, I was able to experience many different countries, including two deployments to Iraq. After my enlistment, I continued discovering what else the world has to offer, yet this time, taking Kaleen along with me. We strive to make your visit as enjoyable as possible by taking in our past experiences as guests, and applying everything we loved about each of them into our very own vacation property. We hope you enjoy your stay!
