The furniture could use some updating. Was somewhat uncomfortable. Living area only, the beds were fine. Loved the deck area seating. Missed the large capacity icemaker. Over all we had a great time. Also tighten the toilet seats.

Excellent Stay!

The condo was huge and exceptionally clean. Very considerate to include starter coffee and dish soap, as well. Very quick response to a failed coffee maker, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a wonderful family vacation spot!

Problems

We had problems from the time we checked end! It was absolutely the hardest thing to get in touch with anyone you get the problem fix. We still have not heard back from property owner as owner trip is already over. So we will not be renting this property again!

We have notes in your reservation starting from check in to check out on each call that we received from your party, and our notes show that we were able to address each concern as you reported them. We removed the fan in the condo upon check in and had someone out to your condo to inspect the shower head immediately. Almost each day of your reservation, one of our staff members was at your condo seeing to your needs. We are glad we were able to work with building facilities to get it fixed during your stay as well as reimburse you for the inconvenience. When we discussed this with you, we thought we had remedied this issue to your satisfaction to not receive a poor review. We are glad we did everything to ensure your Beach Getaway was enjoyable and thank you for choosing Beach Getaways.

Very Spacious, bigger than pictures show. A few issues.

The unit was fantastic. The view was awesome and the interior and exterior space were very spacious. We did have a few issues. There were cookie crumbles, handfuls, that between every cushion on every couch and chair. The floor needed to be mopped. You couldnt walk from a bedroom to kitchen without you feet being black with dirt. The unit next door kept smoking pot and cigars and it kept wafting into our unit. We reported it but still happened constantly. Lastly, the AC stopped cooling the last night we were there. It was a great unit, its just not being taken care of very well. For that kind of $$$ the cleaning crew should be doing a better job for the owners.

While all properties are non-smoking, that doesn't mean everyone will abide by the HOA rules. This needs to be reported to the facilities management so they can reach out to the appropriate contact. We appreciate that you let us know about the A/C, and are pleased to report that it has been fixed and is working properly! Condo was great!

The only complaint I have is that we were charged $281 for a brand new microwave that we did not break. We never used the kitchen the whole time we were there. When we tried explaining our side to the maintenance people they were not sympathetic at all. They claim they have pics of the before and after but the pics are not timed or dated. So how do I know when the first pics were taken. They also said that the cleaning crew found the damage but they could’ve been the ones to damage it and put the blame on us. I just know that we did not do it. If possible I would like for a supervisor to please email or call me. But other than that the condo was super nice and we really enjoyed our stay.

Prior to guest arrivals, our inspectors conduct a pre-arrival inspection that includes pictures of the cleaned unit. Upon departure, our inspectors conduct a departure inspection that includes images of any damages in the unit. This is how we are able to tell if something was damaged, and what time frame. Beautiful property, and condo. Grounds were exceptionally maintained. Building amenities far exceeded expectations. The upfront communication was good, mostly due to all the waivers and forms you have to sign. They will hunt you down. We reported a few issues during our stay that were not addressed. 1. Living room tv did not work when we arrived. All the wires behind the tv were disconnected. We tried every which way to connect it, nothing worked. Was disappointed that we couldn’t watch a show with our grandkids in the evening time. 2. The kitchen sink nozzle/ sprayer dribbles water. And I mean dribbles. Needs to be replaced. 3. Left side of main bed did not operate electronically. Right side did. The remote batteries were corroded in the remote. Didn’t bother me as I didn’t need or use it. But future guest may need it. 4. The two reclining swivel chairs in the living room are at end of life. The cushion is basically gone from heavy use. 5. Be aware that this is a handicap unit. The waivers that you sign are for the equipment in the unit specifically. All of the equipment is in the main bedroom closet. And it wreaks of urine. You do not have closet space to hang your clothes in this bedroom/ closet. We used the dresser and closet in another bedroom. Now for the good part. Overall the condo is fantastic. The community was ever better. The lazy river, access to the beach, snack bar, ice cream, gift shop, amenities were excellent. Parking was easy and very convenient.

Family vacation

We loved the condo. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Breathtaking views of the gulf. The balcony was my favorite spot! The grandson loved the lazy river, pools, and easy access to the beach. Being on the 8th floor gave easy access to the garage to carry in our stuff and bypass the elevators. The wait for elevators is terrible during busy times such as check in:/out days, but the rest of the time it was not bad. We would absolutely return!

High quality handicap features

Lovely accommodations! The high end quality of the many handicap accessories were a huge bonus! The spacious roll in shower with dual shower heads and grab bars was a relief that we find rare in traveling. We highly recommend this unit to anyone that has handicap needs.

DIRECTLY ON BEACH! Lazy river! CLEAN! Spacious!

Great Stay! Right on the beach! Beautiful Condo tastefully decorated. Very spacious! We didn’t need but is handicap accessible. Lazy River & slide is awesome. Also other pools & splashpad! Air floats up at the pool. Everything you need to just enjoy time with the family! Unit #803 is RIGHT ON THE BEACH! It is absolutely beautiful, well cared for & tastefully decorated. Very spacious with 3 bedrooms, a sleeper couch & 4 bathrooms. The Outdoor balcony is VERY LARGE & you can really enjoy the ocean without even walking out there! The unit was very clean. SECURE. security is on premises if needed. Yourparking permit is checked each time you exit & enter. Everyone wears a bracelet to access amenities. We had everything we needed on hand. It is also great for anyone with a disability/wheelchair it is accessible, the shower, recliners, master bed lifts & has remotes, wider doors. High ceilings throughout! Nice, crisp white molding and trim throughout. The unit has a washer/dryer. I took Tide pods to wash towels or anything we may need (9 of us for 3 nights & 4 days) but it wasn't needed. Enough towels were supplied. I was able to throw a few loads of our beach towels & things to wash before coming home and it was WONDERFUL to unpack with no dirty clothes! The building has 32 (?) floors with only 6 elevators so at times there was a long wait for that. The LAZY RIVER was my family's FAVORITE!! We bought our younger kids a smaller tube float so they could enjoy it too. There's also another outdoor pool, large water slide, a splash pad, indoor heated pool & 3 hot tubs + more! My family had a great time. I do wish I'd known sooner that there are sand toys, floats, etc inside cabinet at front door & games, cards in living room in cabinet. The pool area has a place to inflate floats - that's good to know too! And hairdryers are there. Nonstick skillets, pots, all you need to cook with. We took and needed more toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, etc.
