THE SPACE
Come relax, recline and refresh at the Coastal Cottage, a breathtaking 3000 sq. ft., 3BR/3BA lakeside home, featuring Nantucket styling, a huge wraparound deck, magnificent views looking out walls of artistic French windows & doors, vaulted ceilings and a gorgeous, double-sided stone (gas) fireplace.
Kitchen highlights include high-end wood-and-glass cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Furnished “upscale cozy” throughout, the spacious living room is drenched in light, as is the dining room, complete with a comfortable wooden dining table.
The main floor has two bedrooms with queen beds. The large loft area has 4 twin beds , and the finished basement level has a King-sized bed and a cool common area featuring a “smart” large-screen Roku TV, couch, stuffed chairs and a butcher block coffee table. “Smart” Roku TVs are also in the upstairs loft and in the main floor living room. Each of the 3 full baths uses stylish amounts of glass, granite, steel and white painted cabinetry.
The entire property is beautifully landscaped and secluded, with a hot tub and circular sandstone outdoor patio and firepit overlooking Lake Michigan, perfect for relaxing at sunset. Conveniently located near both St. Joseph and New Buffalo, each of which are rich with art galleries, boutique shops, fine restaurants and the best of Midwestern culture. The Coastal Cottage’s “Extra Bonus”? A private wooden deck literally on the lake with chaise lounges and a large bistro table. Chardonnay, anyone?
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
With the rise in popularity of our beautiful town comes the bustling noise of development. Please understand that construction noise from a neighboring property may be heard during a stay at our home, primarily during weekday daylight hours.
To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.
Please note that the Coastal Cottage does not have access to a private beach and swimming out front of the home is not recommended due to the rocky shoreline.
For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome up to 2 dogs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring your dog.
No street parking is allowed. A maximum of 4 cars are permitted to park in the driveway and there is a carpool lot in Stevensville if needed.
Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
