The Space

‘Wave On Wave’ is a 4 bed, 2 bath 1900’s home with unique character and charm. With its original pine floors and newly refinished shiplap walls and ceiling, this home is the perfect getaway for family vacations, couples retreat, girls’ weekends, or romantic stay. The home comfortably sleeps 7. Three of the bedrooms are in soothing shades and line the westerly wall for easy late morning snoozing. A smaller bedroom at the back is great for a child’s retreat. Both bathrooms have walk in showers with glass enclosures. The Master bedroom has a queen bed with en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a shaded view of the front porch. Bedroom 3 and Bedroom 4 line the back of the home with two twin beds in one and a single twin in the other. All bedrooms and the living room have their own wall-mounted TV with Amazon firestick and a complimentary Hulu subscription for live TV and local channels.
Enjoy cooking in the spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas range, a French-door refrigerator, and gray quartz counters. There is both a breakfast bar and dining table for relaxing meals at home when you want to cook-in.
Walk Outside to the backyard, where you can hear the waves, and 40 steps later you are standing on the beach. Grab the chairs and beach toys provided and enjoy a day on the sand.
When not at the beach, guests can stroll the Seawall, take advantage of dining and entertainment options within walking distance, or just relax in the backyard with the firepit and charcoal grill. The shops and restaurants of the Strand Historic District are less than two miles away. Moody Gardens aquarium and tropical rainforest are a short drive, as is Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Visitors can also drive or take the trolley to charming downtown Galveston to shop, dine, and explore.

Guest Access

Upon arrival, rest easy with the convenient keyless door code for access. Your rental will be professionally cleaned and ready for you to enjoy. The home comes fully furnished with all the comforts, including everything you would need in a kitchen to prepare and cook meals, along with fresh linens, paper products and hand soap. All you need to bring is shampoo, soap and beach towels. Kroger and WalMart Super Center are approximately 10 minute drive for grocery shopping when you arrive.
Private parking is available for two vehicles in the back driveway, along with additional street parking available out front.
