Camelot by the Sea features a great outdoor pool deck with a stunning lawn with lounge chairs and umbrella tables. Camelot's indoor pavilion with a glass front and potted plants contain a lazy river, a free-form pool, a small toddler pool, and a spa tub. Stroll down the ocean boulevard to enjoy the many restaurants and shops in the area.

Property is old an run down. The kitchen was very difficult to work in because no counter space or drawers etc. The shower water never got warm let alone hot so that was disappointing. The overall stay was OK...nothing great but nothing super bad either.

Communication from the host was good up until check in. I arrived at the property a little after check in I was supposed to get the code to the door at 4 pm it never came. I tried contacting the host multiple times by phone and text. Had to wind up calling VRBO to where they tried to contact the host and they got no communication as well. Vrbo said the next step was to cancel the reservation. At this point we were about to be left with trying to find a room available at the last minute. Right before VRBO went to cancel after calling multiple times messaging through the app and texting I finally received a text about 45-50 minutes later which is not reasonable timing when I text and told the property manager about what time I would arrive. The property was clean but had a very odd smell kinda like old food. Our stay was ok hot water took some time to heat up but overall we weren’t in the room much. The day of checkout the cleaner was there before 10 am which made us feel rushed and uncomfortable bc she was standing outside the door waiting. There could be some changes made as far as communication goes and the ease of contacting someone if there is a problem like I had at check in. Also could have the cleaners come a little after check out just so people don’t feel rushed and uncomfortable because someone is standing outside the door waiting.

Too many constraints- never again, never stay

Upon reading the terms and conditions, policies, constraints, we ended up letting go of this non-refundable reservation and stayed at nearby Paradise Resort so that we could enjoy our vacation and not feel like renting a jail room by staying at this rental - they want you to pick up your own trash and take it to commercial trash bins on site? I've never done this at a hotel , you're supposed to not soil the towels and laundry them, seriously? better not to use them at all then! They ask you to not leave any negative reviews; there is no carbon monoxide detector in the room, What got it me is the constant reminders before arriving that you have do this and not this and this. Booking hotels is so much easier, you're not constantly reminded of "Not to do list" and you're welcome than cautioned (as for this place) about what to do and not to do. And most amazing thing is that the hotel rooms are going half the price of this room. I learned my lesson hard way by losing $227 on this rental. I swear to God, I will never book a vacation rental and will in fact always book a hotel room instead, which is so convenient, provides freedom and you're not constantly reminded of to-do list things and not have to do so many documents and review crazy policies and terms and conditions. Never again!

Location was great, short distance to boardwalk and other activities. Easy access to highway roads. Room setup was great and comfortable.

Excellent experience

This property was exactly as expected. A little dated, but clean, comfortable and economical. Beautiful ocean view, quiet, and conveniently located close to the boardwalk. Communication with the property manager was frequent, thorough and precise. Honest. I can confidently recommend this property.

Great location, beautiful view!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a very close walk to really great restaurants and the beach! Would definitely recommend! Very easy and hassle free check in too!

Wonderful room and location

The room has everything you need for a vacation condo. The amenities are great with the pools and easy beach access. The location is close to the pier so lots to do within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!

I grew up in rural North Carolina, visiting Myrtle Beach on our family vacations, and loved every second. I love Myrtle Beach because the palm trees in the pool area give a tropical feel. I have one little girl and our condo is our other pride and joy. I am excited to help you have a perfect vacation and I want your experience to be perfect. This unit has full-sized appliances, LCD TV, and beachfront views. Great location for entertainment in the surrounding areas. Great Pool area and views that are simply breathtaking.
