This stunning, completely renovated home features three beautifully-furnished bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The house is on an island in Pontiac Lake and while not on the water itself, our back yard fire pit (bring your kindling & firewood!) and sitting area, along with large fenced-in yard, provide a wonderful setting for entertaining or as a secluded escape. Cook for the whole family in our gorgeous entertaining living room + kitchen area and roast s'mores in the fire pit after! With plenty of parking and easy access to Pontiac Lake beach and boat ramps, this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!
Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, Amazon Fire smart TVs, French Roast coffee pods + Keurig, a Nespresso machine and Nespresso pods, Memory Foam beds, fresh linens, in-home high-tech washer/dryer, Solimo bath products, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Message us if there’s anything we can help with!

The front door to our home is located up just 4 steps. The ground floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with a kitchen and living room. The master bedroom is located down 4 steps to the lower level and has its own private bathroom and private entrance door on the side of the house. The backyard has a gravel path to a brick fireplace with outdoor seating.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

We have a driveway that fits 2 cars, with room for 2 additional cars in our garage. There is also free street parking around the house.
Entry

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the back door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.
Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

Pontiac Lake Boating & Recreational Info

Pontiac Lake is home to a massive recreational area featuring activities from a large public lake-side beach to hiking and mountain biking trails, nature hikes, cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing, boating, and many other activities. For more information, check out the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources website and search for "Pontiac Lake Recreational Area".
Also, if you have a boat and are looking to use it on Pontiac Lake, there is a public boat launch at the Pontiac Lake Rec Area Access off of Gate Road on eastern side of the lake. There are over 80 parking spaces for your car and trailer there. To find additional information on the location, check out the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources website (and to find the specific page about the boat ramp, search online for "Pontiac Lake MI Public Boat Launch" and it is the first result).

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
Getting Around

While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Plymouth/Northville/Canton/Ann Arbor areas!
