The property was in a great location on the hill in Great Barrington, a nice walk to Lake Mansfield and through their hiking path, and in close proximity to town, whether walking or driving. The house was extremely well maintained and stocked with games for our grandkids, phonograph with records, and a wonderful great room with a fireplace (that we did not use) and a foosball table and Pac Man game. The downstairs bedroom allowed for privacy for our daughter and her husband. The kitchen/dining area with a sitting room was a great place to hang out, although it could benefit from an AC unit. All of the other rooms had AC split units which made our stay extremely comfortable. Although the back yard was not fenced in, our dog was able to run in it without issue. The fact that it was pet friendly made the rental possible, despite the 50 pet charge. We did have a friend visit for one night with their dog and paid another 50 fee. The only shortcoming was the Wifi service with Spectrum, which was spotty throughout our stay and made using our devices challenging and the gigantic television difficult to watch. In all fairness (and echoing our daughter) we did not complain about this to the Management Team until the day before we left, and a visit by Spectrum was scheduled for right after our stay- meaning we should have called shortly after we arrived. In all it was a great house and a great stay- highly recommened!!
