Historisk sommerhus beliggende kun to gader fra stranden. Et af de originale Rehoboth-hytter, der kan dateres tilbage til 1927, og ligger i det historiske register. Fantastisk beliggenhed, to blokke fra stranden og sølv sø, også en nem gåtur til byen. Vores hyggelige stue har en pejs og et HD-fladskærms-tv. Smuk og afslappende veranda med masser af siddepladser. Charmerende baghavsområde, der inkluderer en gårdhave og grill, lavet privat ved et hegn. Masser af cykler til rådighed til at køre rundt i byen. Fire soveværelser og to fulde bade med udendørs bruser.

Lejere bliver nødt til at medbringe lagner og håndklæder. Der er to queensize-senge og fire enkeltsenge.

Lance was wonderful to work with. The cottage is older but has a lot of character. We loved spending time on the screened in porch. If you are coming with elderly people, be aware that there is no railing coming into the house and some better lighting could have helped but we managed. The main floor bedrooms were nice. Showers were great. It was great to be able to bring dogs with a completely fenced in backyard.

Real deal old time beach cottage with lots of character. Close to everything (only 2 blocks from the beach) but just far enough away to avoid the crowds. The host was very quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. Would definitely rent again.

A beautiful cottage and so close to the beach and boardwalk. Lance was a wonderful host and very responsive on a few things we needed. The house was furnished with a lot of antiques… everything was thought out and perfect. The cottage is located on a quiet street and we really enjoyed the screened in porch as did my corgi.. Will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you, Lance!

This historic essential cottage is perfect for a family beach trip. The front porch is an ideal extra living space - screened and protected from the elements. While the cottage provides beach chairs and bikes, there is also plenty of space in the shed to securely store your own equipment (this was appreciated since we brought our road bicycles). The cottage is an easy two-block walk to the beach, and all the shops and restaurants on Rehobeth Ave are also walkable. The house provides parking passes as well. Two first floor bedrooms are perfect for couples, while the upstairs rooms have multiple twin beds for the kids. The fenced back yard was also perfect for the dog. We are looking forward to returning next summer.

The house was perfectly situated and a great walking distance to the beach and a nearby playground. Shed and kitchen were well equipped with essentials. Communication with Lance was great and check in was pretty seamless. The only issue we ran into was the cleanliness and overall condition of household items. Surface clean was fine (kitchen and bathrooms were clean upon arrival) but the amount of dust, dog hair, and dirt on the floors was bad. There was broken furniture, and items broke throughout our stay (doorknobs, door hinges). There were numerous stains on mattresses, blankets, and pillows, and mattresses on third floor were set atop frames that did not fit. The stove was sketchy at best and constant ignition issues made us nervous to use it. For the price we paid, compared to similar properties our friends were at (even closer to the beach) I feel that the cleanliness and condition of the house should be immaculate, especially considering these issues have been mentioned in past reviews. It was a beautiful home and it has a ton of potential, but it would be worth the asking rate if some TLC and attention/maintenance were put into the house.

The cottage is so charming with an unbeatable location on a quiet street only a short walk from downtown. The kitchenbis small but well equipped, and both the heat and the AC work well. The downstairs beds seems to be new and very comfortable; the upstairs twin beds are not as new so keep that in mind when decoding who will sleep up there...it's the kind ofnthing that adults might notice but might not make a difference to kids at all. The front porch is spacious and comfortable, the back yard is charmin and private. Lance the host is easy to communicate with, which is nice. The front porch outer lights didnt work for me but i may have been using the wrong switch. A little touch up cleaning needed in a few spots but overall really lovely!

Everything was great - nice quiet, comfortable cottage blocks to beach, dining and boardwalk. Provided bikes for a great day biking at Gordon’s Pond Beach. Dog friendly, clean and conveniently location.

The best part about this cute, classic beach bungalow is the location. Easy walk to the beach and you are far enough down it's not as crowded as the mid boardwalk streets. Plenty of parking, bikes to borrow, nice backyard (we didn't use it because the mosquitos had claimed it). Two bedrooms on the main floor. Were advertised as two queens, so those were the sheet size we brought. It's actually queen in one and king in the other so we had to go buy new sheets. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with two twins, the other with 3 twins. Ample room, not a ton of storage, but for a rental it's fine. the biggest challenges were older, not working appliances. The stove burners didn't automatically light reliably, so we had to do that ourselves (not ideal if you aren't familiar with gas ranges), the microwave turns on but doesn't heat, and the coffee maker brews but won't keep the pot warm. I'm sharing this so the next renters are aware, but not because we hated the experience. It was a lovely little home, and we're not high maintenance so we made it work. The wifi password in the listing is not correct, but the one on the sheet in the home is, so we figured that out quickly.Overall, I think I'm on the fence on whether it was worth the cost, but it was close. Rehoboth is a tough market so you get what you can get.

Lovely historic cottage, perfect location, would stay there again in a heartbeat. Junior library upstairs is amazing. Missed the disclaimer about BYO towels and sheets, be good to place that more prominently (or better yet start providing them). But we did find washing some left behind by previous guests.

The house is in a great location in Rehoboth Beach, with both the beach and town about a 10-minute walk or less, which made getting around very easy for our group of eight. The front outdoor space was also a nice size, and the host was responsive, helpful, and quick to communicate throughout the stay. That said, the house itself did not match the quality shown in the listing photos, which made it feel disappointing once we arrived. The property looked older and not very well maintained, and cleanliness was a major issue, including dusty fans, dirty floors, and furniture that did not feel clean. The Wi-Fi was also inconsistent, sometimes working fine but then becoming very slow or unreliable. While the location and host communication were positives, the condition and cleanliness of the home would keep me from staying here again. I would recommend future guests set expectations carefully before booking, especially if cleanliness and a well-maintained space are important to them.

Peaceful and delightful!

Had a wonderful time! The house is so charming, the front porch and outside shower are a dream. Lovely historic cottage, and is the perfect vibe for what Rehobeth is. Walking distance to everything and can’t wait to go back!

Quaint Home/Relaxing Stay

Great property in a quiet neighborhood. A quick two block walk to the beach. The walk to the main part of the broad walk was a bit far but this allowed for a less crowded and quieter beach experience.

Comfy Cottage

We had a marvelous time! Our vacation week was enjoyed from start to finish. The weather even cooperated! The house was very comfortable, and the location is great.

Booked expecting to be able to work remote but there was no WiFi (or cable). Notified the owner upon arrival and despite repeated attempts (hours rebooting etc.) never had service. Owner seemed apologetic and said he would credit us a night but never did.

Nice Bungalow

Loved the house and area. Location is great. You can walk to the beach and restaurants. Inside is in good shape. House needs some sprucing up outside and there is too much 'stuff' on the porch. I would stay there again.

Great location!! When at the rental, spent most of our time on the spacious screened in porch. Appreciated the bikes and beach wagon. House has a king and queen size bed, not two queens. When asked to bring own sheets, need to be precise. Premises could have been cleaner.
