Everything was excellent, relaxing atmosphere and great weather. Buck and Johnny’s is the place to go for breakfast.

Cute Cozy Charming Cajun Cottage

Had a wonderful weekend in Breaux Bridge. The cottage had many little extras which made out stay even better. This place is charming and very accommodating...perfect for a couple, and walking distance to great restaurants.

Excellent place to stay

The hosts were great. I had booked it for the previous weekend by mistake because I thought the LSU Alabama game was then. Yvette moved my reservation to the right weekend with no fuss (the game, not so much.....) The property was clean, charming and comfortable. Plenty of towels and she had snacks. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy convience!

We repeated tenants at Yevette's. place. She's always welcoming and very pleasant. Her place really fits our needs. We would definitely recommend her place to anyone. We look forward to our next visit.

So cozy!

This place was so cute and cozy! It was right next to the heart of town and the hostess was so sweet and accommodating. The house is stocked with anything you may need or anything you may have forgotten! We will definitely be making this out go-to place when we travel back in the future!

Perfect - Sweet Spot

This beautiful cottage was the perfect location. We visited with friends in the area and also explored on our own. We enjoyed wonderful food in Breaux Bridge: Syndnie Mae and also Buck and Jonny’s were our favorites. Yvette is indeed the Premier Host. Thanks again!

Cycle Zydeco

My wife and I used this as our home base for the Cycle Zydeco bike ride event………location was perfect! Yvette was a great host……..”Chez Moi” had everything we needed………if we ever come back to Breaux Bridge for one of their many festivals, I would definitely stay here!

Family Reunion Trip

The little house was perfect for our stay in Breaux Bridge for a family reunion. There was plenty of room and it had everything we needed. The location couldn't have been better; an easy walk into town. We will stay there again!

Perfect little house.

The house is perfect for visiting family in the area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and so is the bathroom. Owner is so nice and responds promptly to anything we may need. Will rent this house again when we are in town. :)

Awesome!

This little house is a gem! Very clean, close to downtown, quiet neighborhood and hostess was responsive. We had bottled water, Kind bars and Skinny Popcorn waiting for us; which was perfect after a day of traveling. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and have already referred the property to a friend who will be traveling there in a few months.

We love it here

… and we keep coming back! It’s just the best jumping off point for spending time in town - restaurant options galore, a short drive to Lafayette (whether you go the scenic route or via the freeway) and you won’t find better hosts. One day we’ll use that spacious kitchen for more than just brewing coffee. LOL

Louisiana Music Hall of Famer/Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/interpreter/author/cultural ambassador…that a lot of different hats for one person to wear; yet Yvette seems to be making it work. Yvette Landry has her own style.

Landry fronts The Yvette Landry Band and Yvette Landry & the Jukes. Her debut award-winning album titled “Should Have Known” was released in 2010. (The album was named Offbeat Magazine's "Best Country/Folk Album" and Landry "Best Country/Folk Artist"). Landry has traveled the world even touring Russia serving as a Cultural Ambassador on behalf of the Library of Congress. She has graced the stage at both the Library of Congress and John F. Kennedy Center of Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

By day, Landry is an educator, teaching American Sign Language, song writing, bass, guitar, and accordion. By night, Yvette is a musician/singer/songwriter/author who continues to tour worldwide, gracing the stage with greats such as Vince Gill & The Time Jumpers, Darrell Scott, Rhonda Vincent, and many more.

Since her debut album in 2010, Landry has released four more CDs, and recorded on more than thirty records. Her first children’s book, “The Ghost Tree,” was nominated for “Louisiana’s Young Reader’s Choice Award.” And more recently, her second book, “Madame Grand Doigt,” along with “The Ghost Tree,” were formally accepted into the Library of Congress Collection for Children’s Literature.

Her latest project, “Taking the World, by Storm,” is two-fold. The book, “A Conversation with the Godfather of Swamp Pop,” covers the lifespan of this living legend Warren Storm, and the companion album, produced by Yvette and titled, “A Regional Roots Journey with The Godfather of Swamp Pop,” includes guest John Fogerty, and more.

This cozy "shotgun" house is just perfect for a sweet Cajun getaway. It is just a short walk away from Cajun jams, Zydeco dancing, great food, local artisans and southern hospitality. Hop in the car and drive just a few minutes to the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Martin and other water ways and see alligators, birds and a host of what Louisiana nature has to offer. Want to see dinosaurs...just a few miles away, you can see that too.
