Hello Davis, I’m sorry to hear that you were frustrated by our cancellation policy and you felt like you were spoken to rudely. That is not what we are about. We strive to accommodate the needs of ALL our guests and want everyone to have a fantastic experience. Just want to clarify that we DID CHANGE the date of your reservation 3 days before your arrival, making an exception to our cancelation policy, which you agreed to at the time of making your booking. Please consider that canceling 3 days prior to your reservation is too close to guarantee we can rebook. We sell out on weekends and cancelling a that close to check-in is hard on a small business, and that is why we have that policy. It is unfortunate that you didn't get an opportunity to actually stay with us. San Diego Mountain Lodge is an incredible and magical place. We hope you are willing to take us up on our offer to apply that money you paid towards a future stay, so you know why so many of our previous guests rave about how beautiful this place is. Hope you give us a chance to make things right.
