Beautifully remodeled, brand new furnishings. Fun tailgating backyard. Walk to ND in just minutes (half mile) down the block from Trader Joes. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need. You will feel right at home. No need to worry about a thing. Plenty of space with three bedroom, two living spaces and 2 bathrooms. Large entertaining backyard w bbq, fire pit, lights. We so enjoyed remodeling and decorating the home for stays while our son was attending ND.

What a lovely home! We stayed here with another couple for Junior Parents Weekend and this house accommodated us perfectly. The interior is stylish and clean and the kitchen is a dream. We plan to book again for future events. Thank you for a great stay!

the house was very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet with a beautiful park across the street. The location was perfect only 5 minutes to Notre Dame and the owners were very helpful.

My family and I recently stayed at “Jack’s Place”. The house is beautifully furnished, well stocked, extremely clean, comfortable, extremely close to everything ND, and, most important to me, pet friendly! Lots of room to spread out! Gena is such a lovely and attentive host!! She was available to give recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We enjoyed our stay and hope to book the house again this fall.

Gena has an awesome place and is an even better host. I was there for 31 days attending a summer course at ND. My wife and our airedale joined me. The house was perfect for our long term stay. It had everything we needed and Gena repeatedly checked in with us via text. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and one bedroom downstairs. We spent most of the time on the main floor, but if you have a bigger group (6-8 folks), this house will work great for you. The backyard is a highlight. It is fenced in for the dog, has a grill, and also has a great sitting area around a fire pit. The house is conveniently located near campus. I drove every day to class at Stayer. It was about three minutes if I got stuck at a light or two. It is about a 15-20 minute walk (at a decent pace) to the stadium. It is close to Eddy Street Commons and several great food and drink establishments. It is a little further to the ‘Backer on the east side of campus. We even walked home from downtown South Bend on the 4th of July. It took us about 45 minutes. Great place. Great host. If you are traveling with a dog (under 50 pounds according to the Vrbo info), this is the place for you. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Notre Dame for a football weekend or long summer visit.

Huge props to Gena. We LOVED this place. We had my Mom in for Christmas and i knew itd be a bigger group and wanted to be able to all co-mingle together and this was the perfect place. It was clean and well maintained. Gena was quick to respond when I showed up a bit early. Huge shoutout.

Location, very comfortable, great host. Could not have better for our out of town family coming for an 80 th birthday and thanksgiving. First class top to bottom. Hope to come back in the future!

Football weekend

The property was clean and convenient to the campus. Everything was top notch. The owner was easy to get in touch with and addressed any questions promptly. Really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and grill.

Awesome place

This house is fantastic, even if you're not in town for a game. It's a lot bigger than in looks, it's very clean and cozy, and has everything you need for the stay. Location is great, walkable to grocery stores, Eddy St., the stadium, etc. We'll definitely be back.

A site for great memories

We had a delightful experience at this property. The host was very available and helpful. The location is great especially given proximity to campus. The home was clean, well furnished and well appointed. We and our guests will forever remember the outdoor event we had in the spacious, flat, functional yard. Bordered by a nice wood fence we had privacy and could easily manage our guests arrival and departure. The walkway from the street provided easy access directly to the backyard. The firepit and seating were very much appreciated and in the evening when the lighting along the fence was on, the ambiance was great.

Perfect House for our Visit in South Bend!

We couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay during our visit to South Bend to see family and friends. The house was impeccably clean, tastefully renovated, and filled with amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The spacious backyard and grill allowed us to host our friends and family with ease, which was a highlight for us. Additionally, having Trader Joe's within walking distance made it convenient for all our grocery needs. It was also very comfortable for our child who is under two years old. Would highly recommend and we will also be staying here again during our next visit!!

Perfect location close to ND

Jack’s house is the perfect home away from home when you are visiting South Bend. Close to campus and just 2 blocks away from Trader Joe’s. The house is newly renovated and is fully stocked with everything you need for your visit. The back yard has a totally enclosed privacy fence and a fire pit so you can enjoy family time around the fire at night. We will be back the next time we are visiting Notre Dame.

Beautiful, comfortable, and close to ND

This property is as promised — clean, beautiful, well-stocked with supplies to make your stay comfortable. Even closer to ND (half-a-mile or so) now that the Eddy Street development has been completed (with more housing, a Trader Joe’s and other shops). Gena (owner) was helpful and responsive to any questions. Neighborhood was quiet which made using the big outdoor space in backyard that much more relaxing — though there is plenty of space for socializing/get togethers, if that is in your plans) . I definitely recommend this property and would book it again for myself and my family when visiting the area in the future.

Loved everything about this beautiful home. It’s set up perfectly for enjoying your visit to Notre Dame. NOTRE DAME GAME BLISS!!!

This property will put you in the mood for GAME DAY or FAMILY TIME. Only 1/2 mile to Notre Dame! Restaurants and attractions close by. We visited The Potowatami Zoo and had brunch at Tippecanoe. They are in the process of installing beautiful walkways and a patio. Park across the street is lovely. Tennis too. Family time around the fire pit...inside and out was A+. Gena has thought of everything and goes TOP of the line. Communication with her was VERY pleasant. We have rented several homes in The Bend, this being our favorite so far.

Beautiful Home!

Our stay was incredible! The home is just as it looks in the pictures. Very well maintained, the beds were really comfortable, and the house is in an ideal location. We loved sitting out by the fire pit in the backyard! We would love to stay here again!

Charming house close to Notre Dame

This immaculate and cozy house is about a 22 minute walk from Notre Dame Stadium. It is newly renovated. The neighborhood is quiet and it sits right across the street from a large park. We had three adult couples gather for an ND football game and it was just great. And communication with the owner could not have been easier. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

The Best Near Notre Dame

The home was extremely clean, beautiful, with all new furnishing and completely remodeled. The walk to campus was so quick, only half a mile (5 min). The house proved to be way better than the pictures and I will most definitely be staying here again.

We are parents of an alumni ND student athlete. We purchased the home as we wanted a nice, clean and close home to stay in during our many visits to ND over the years. We enjoyed remodeling and decorating it to feel like we were in a luxury hotel. We have a trusted and thorough cleaning staff. It’s an easy walk to campus or the Eddy Street Commons and the beautiful park across the street is lovely.

ONLY a half mile to Notre Dame campus and Eddy Street dining and shopping district. It is professionally cleaned after every stay! The home is beautifully remodeled and decorated as if its a model home just for short term stays. It boasts with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is plenty of space to relax in two separate living/family spaces. The backyard is spacious, fully fenced and an amazing entertaining space with a dining area, firepit with plenty of wood, bbq grill and automatically bistro lighting. Enjoy games and company on the large well maintained lawn.
The home comes well stocked with luxury linens, plush bath towels, soaps, shampoo, coffee, basic cooking spices and such. Enjoy a stroll around the park steps from the front door or take up a game of tennis or basketball.
