The house will comfortably accommodate 6 people, on a 10-hectare site isolated from the rest of the world.
The living room in the house, wide open to the outdoor spaces, allows you to live at the natural rhythm of the days and seasons.
The barn is the space for observation and immersion in the calm and tranquility of the site.
The terrace, the garden and its barbecue, the shade of the fruit trees are your sanctuaries, for lunch, eating or dinner... and relax!
The kitchen wraps around a superb farmhouse table that will allow an authentic country buffet in the house.
Dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, filter and Italian coffee machines complete the equipment.
The rooms with wooden floors, and exposed beams for those upstairs, all have a comfortable, warm and bucolic atmosphere. The décor is antique or inspired by walks in the woods.
The windows offer a view of plants, and let in natural light.
Two bedrooms are equipped with 160 cm double beds, one with a 140 cm bed, the 4th has 2 single beds (90 cm).
The bathrooms, one per floor, with shower, have been renovated in a 50's spirit or furnished in a country style. They offer openings with natural light. In the laundry room in the basement, a washing machine.
Parlan, the nearest village 2 km away, has a bakery and a local grocery store complete with fruit and vegetables, cheeses and butcher's shop. In the neighbouring villages, the weekly markets give a large place to local producers from the Lot and Cantal.
Not to mention an excellent wine cellar in Le Rouget!
The region, between Cantal and Lot, offers many possibilities for discovery:
. A grandiose mountain hike on the slopes of Puy Mary, to discover the peaks, ridges and glacial valleys of the Monts du Cantal, and finish with a tasting of a Roquefort bourriol in Salers
. The discovery of Aurillac, its bistronomy, its Street Theatre festival or Marcolès and its gastronomic restaurant
. A cultural visit to Figeac, Conques or Rocamadour
. A swim in Lake Tolerme or St Etienne Cantalès
. A walk in the woods of the property or the hiking trails of the Chataigneraie Cantalienne,
. A meal with a clafoutis, plums from the garden and a piece of Cantal, fragrant and creamy...
. In the autumn, an outing to mushrooms or chestnuts
