Great weekend with teen children!

We booked this property for a long weekend and it was a great location - especially with children in their teen years. I felt comfortable with them walking to the beach, lunch, boardwalk etc. There was a lot for them to do so it made the stay for us parents enjoyable! The place was clean and a great amount of space for families. Just remember to bring towels and linens. The owner was great and sent us a friendly reminder. We will definately be back!

Enjoyable stay

We had a wonderful stay Labor Day weekend. Check in process was easy, house was perfect for what we needed. Great location…teen children could easily walk to the boardwalk, and Wawa, shops on Asbury were close by, ice cream, pizza.

Relaxing stay

It was a very relaxing stay at a nice property. Easy communication with the owner. Plenty of room for the six of us. LOVE the porch after a long day at the beach. We would absolutely stay there again!

The right location for the destination!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The listing was very accurately describe and provided everything we could possibly need.The distance to the beach was easily walkable and exiting was a breeze. Parking was great. Communication with the host was simple and consistent.

Blocks away from everything!!

Loved the open space and lots of light. The front porch was my favorite. Just 5 blocks from beach, board walk, and down town shopping.

Great Stay

First, I would like to say that John was extremely communicative and so easy to contact from the moment we booked the stay. The property was great. Perfect for our family with 6 adults and 3 children. Porch was the perfect spot for our night time relaxation. Few things in house could use some updating like the bath mats and comforters, but we are overall so pleased. It was centrally located- could drive or walk to the beach depending on preference. Close to downtown.

Ocean City Weekend

Property was clean and as described. Good location in Ocean City to access the boardwalk, downtown and beaches. Kids liked to be able to walk easily to beaches and boards. Only drawback was the Wawa and Restaurant across the alley. Loud at night near back bedrooms with truck delivery’s to Wawa late and kids being loud congregating there.

1249 Haven

The location was great other than backing up to Wawa and Piccini. It was tough to cross West Avenue but other than that you would not to move your car the entire time. The owner was very responsive and rectified the issues I had quickly. I think this unit would be great for a short a short stay. It is not set up for eating at the unit or drying clothes, etc that you would want for a longer stay.

Everything we needed

Everything was just as listed- plenty of living space and storage. Lovely covered deck. I love a property with curtains that actually block the bright morning sun so we can all get the rest we need after a busy beach day. PLENTY of parking. Truly did not use my car all week- walked everywhere. Was really nice to have chairs and beach cart included on property. Would definitely book again- we had a great time. John was very easily reached and responded quickly each time I had a question.

Great place in Ocean City

This location is a perfect place for a large family to stay. The patio/deck was perfect with a table to eat at plus comfortable couches and chairs. The living area was also roomy for our family to sit and relax after a day at the beach. The bedrooms are basic, but it is one of the few properties that I have found where there are 2 bedrooms with multiple beds. The bunk bed was nice and sturdy or our teens to sleep in. Since you are on haven it is about .5 mile walk to the beach, but not hard at all, and they left you a cart that you can use to take to the beach. There were no beach passes, but I assume someone at some point kept them, so not the fault of the owner. It was nice being by the bay side, I recommend going to see the sunset at Bay and 12th there is a lovely sitting area on the bay. We also took advantage of kayak / paddle boards which are on 10th and Bay. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Misleading location

BEWARE When booking this house the approximate location is shown as 2 blocks from the beach (Wesley Ave) the actual location that was sent 30 days prior to the our stay (past the cancellation date) was on Haven which is 5 or 6 blocks from the beach and over the main road. If I had known this was the location I would not have booked this house. To me this was extremely misleading on owners part. I’ve booked multiple times in OCNJ and have never experienced this. The house itself had enough room for our family of 5 and the front porch was convenient. However it felt run down and not very clean. I will not be booking this house or with this owner again.

Great location in OC

The location was perfect! Short 5 min walk to boardwalk, easy off street parking, access to so many restaurants and Wawa close by! Owner was easy to work with and quick to reply!

Great stay

We stayed for three nights and the property was just as advertised. There was enough room for 4 adults and three children. It was close to the beach and the boardwalk. The owner was easy to reach over email and helpful. Overall a great experience.

Good location

This location was great for walking to the beach. We were able to come and go to the beach & boardwalk easily. The deck was also really nice to enjoy food at the table or just relax. Unfortunately, the condo was not very clean. We have twin babies and within minutes of being there one of our toddlers found pretty large pieces of glass on the ground. We then found multiple pieces as we looked. It seemed like a glass was maybe broken but not very well cleaned afterward. The babies feet and legs were black from crawling on the floor and there was food under the beds, candy wrappers in the drawers, etc. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned well. There was also no beach tags when we arrived (which the listing states is included) and we are still waiting on a refund from John after almost a month. The location is great but we probably wouldn’t return to this exact condo. I know cleaning services are probably hard to find, but hopefully it will be improved for the next guests!

Location, location and ease

The place was advertised though sleeping 10 would include people on the coach in living area. The unit was perfectly located for our teen age children to access the best of OC NJ. The only suggestion would be to ask resturant behind driveway to no park along the alleyway due to tightness of backing up out of parking spots. The home was very clean and felt very safe!
