Bohemian Bungalow

This chic colorful apartment is newly furnished with bold colors and comfortable touches. The previous tenant was a Bohemian lady who had a flair for color so we kept the bold paint scheme and expanded on it. The apartment is part of a ground level duplex, and has mostly all new furnishings and updated appliances. The tile in the bathroom is retro style.The location is stellar as you can walk to many of the fun dining and drinking hotspots in trendy Riverside. We are located with in a mile of Interstate 10 and 2 miles from Interstate 95 and the downtown.Dedicated offstreet parking is assigned . A pet is permitted with a $ 50.00 fee up to one week! Guests staying a week or more will have access to the laundry serving my two adjacent duplexes. (A modest fee is charged. )There are security cameras on the premises. Tastefully decorated spaces with MCM decor. Perfect location for our stay and immediate help from our gracious host when we inadvertently messed up the coded door lock; he reset it cheerfully and everything was wonderful.

Cute, cozy accommodations -- just what we were looking for in a one-night stay. We very much appreciated the coffee/maker and the sweet welcome treats. We did note that the TV was in Spanish and we were not able to change, and there are no forks!

There are over 200 channels on the TV and if you had an issue changing the channels, you had my phone number and I would’ve been happy to assist you to change the channel.i live 3 blocks away. I’m disappointed you chose not to reach out but to leave negative comments when it could’ve been resolved with the phone call. In addition, there was over a dozen clean forks in the dishwasher as the housekeeper had done up many them. There were additional stacks of silverware on the other side of the kitchen in the drawer. When in doubt… Reach out. Perhaps a fully furnished chic apartment with a smart TV is not the best fit ..and a hotel room would suit you better. All the best..

We had an excellent stay at Bohemia! My friend and I planned a trip to Jacksonville to go to a concert at the 5 Points Theatre and we couldn’t have been happier! Mr. Daiv was very helpful throughout the whole process of our trip. When initially booking, I had contacted about the possibility of booking and he responded within five minutes of my initial message and was very attentive to responding to any questions I had after! I had trouble getting into the home at first but was met with relief when I received a phone call from Mr. Daiv helping me and guiding me on the process of ensuring the door locks and unlocks. When we went inside, we were given a welcome card as well as some truffles! The place itself was clean and there were several amenities (microwave, oven, big fridge, etc) that were included that made you feel comfortable and at home. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby lol. Checking out was an easy process that he gives clear information on in the booking instructions. Overall, our experience with this Vrbo was excellent and would definitely book again.

A quaint eclectic bungalow with all amenities. A good location for dining and easy access to the interstate. Daiv was extremely responsive to my requests. I would stay here again when in town.

The host was very attentive and even arranged for an earlier check in for us. The place was clean and cozy. He left us cupcakes, extra pillows. And a convenient minibar. The process was easy and stress free thanks to our host. We would stay again if we come back to Jacksonville.

This property was perfect for our stay and my 14 lb dog. The place had everything you want in todays STR world. Close to DT, walking distance to a quaint little district for food and fun. Daiv has it down!

I am originally from Erie Pennsylvania. I have a degree in hospitality management and have been involved in the service industry most of my life. Although I’ve been retired for a while now hospitality is still in my blood and running several B&Bs in rental properties keeps me busy and active.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

I chose this neighborhood as it is close to my house. The neighborhood is a very eclectic mix of young families with smaller and older starter homes. There’s lots of And hipster vibe in the area and the location is close to interstate, the dining district and downtown.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Bohemia gets its inspiration from a long-term former tenant who was from Bohemia, who started off with the unique paint scheme in this apartment. I took cues from her and her friends and transformed this mid-century modern apartment in to an unusual collection of art colors and vibrant energy.
