Great view of the Gulf and the lazy river… The other side of the building is the view of the intracoastal waterway.

pool area was very nice. The beach the trolley takes you to is ok but not what I expected. The bathrooms were kinda dirty, baseboards and walls around the toilet desperately need to be cleaned which was disappointing for the amount we paid for the condo.

Nice getaway

The property was great. The worst thing was the distance from the beach - but it didn’t bother us - just would want to be aware if I had small children. The rooms were super clean and enjoyable!

A fabulous stay in a beautiful place

We traveled from MT and stayed a week at the Caribe and it was wonderful. With all of the amenities & activities we didn’t even have to leave. This condo was perfect, it has a great view, and it’s located over the Lazy river. The Lazy River was a favorite of ours for the week. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a 3 bedroom stay.

Overall the stay was good. The couch and pullout mattresses were very uncomfortable - it took a day to cool the refrigerator down to acceptable temperatures for the food we brought to eat. They really need to update the cushions for the furniture - too saggy. Location was excellent. Check in and checkout process was very simple. I would recommend for parties smaller than 10

We were two families with 3 and 4 kids each, so 11 people total. Most of the kids are teenagers, and the youngest is 8. The condo had plenty of room for all of us to sleep, the balcony was right above the lazy river and gave great views of the ocean further out. We were pleasantly surprised to find games and puzzles in a cabinet; the kids did some puzzles and we blew all their minds teaching them Yahtzee! The trip was way too short, but we had a great time.

Excellent condo

We had a great time. Kids enjoyed the pools and slides. The condo was spacious and very nicely decorated. The beach trolley was running constantly and we never had to wait. The local beach had a great assortment of beach toys to borrow.

Clean condo at Caribe

Everything was perfect with the unit. Only minor complaint was an email went unanswered to property manager, but we figured it out. No big deal. Would stay again.

Everything was nice. We love the caribe. The coffee table wasn’t clean and we had to wash dishes before using them. Loved the mattresses in the unit. The mattress cover on the trundle was dirty but we didn’t use it.

We had a nice room. The dining room chairs are caving in so that was a bummer. The pillows were stiff, memory foam mattress slid all over the bed and no comfy blankets which would have been nice since the a/c worked AMAZING. The dryer only time drys. The service folks responded immediately when the fridge went into vacation mode but nothing was harmed. The kitchen is well appointed with dishes and gadgets but no hot pads for the oven. We had to soak a dishrag to pull out the cookie sheet. Oven is amazing and the stove worked beautifully. Ninja chopper/blender was awesome.The view was nice and we only had one issue the last night with 2am music blasting from the floor below. Lazy river was wonderful until all the kids got in and ran around without supervision. The cleaning was not great and lots of sand and debris seemed to be in it consistently. The TikiBar bartender Abigail was a delight. Drinks are 15 each which is really high so bring your own liquor and the ninja in the room will be amazing.we had a good time at the Caribe and we will go again for sure but hope they step up pool cleaning and think about keeping kids out of lazy river if they are not given specific rules like must be in a tube and not running around and making big waves or jumping on people from the sides.

Review

Great place. Lots of space. Spare room with bunk beds are not comfy at all. Do not count it as adult sleeping pull outs either. No curtains in the living room so not great for adults either. Master bed and bath were WONDERFUL as well as queen room. HUGE fridge and awesome ice machine.

We had a wonderful stay at Caribe Resort. The condo was so roomy and perfect for our crew. Beautiful views and the pools were amazing! Only downfall, parking and the distance to the beach. Other than that, beautiful property!

Family/Friend Vacation

The condo was very nice and we enjoyed being at the Caribe. We all enjoyed the pools and lazy river and the teens loved the slides. We had 3 sets of parents and 7 teens. The only complaint was the bed (mattress) in the bunk room is not meant for adults. One set of parents could not sleep on it and ended up staying at another friends condo in Gulf Shores. It was disappointing not having everyone there since we had been planning this trip for months. For anyone looking at this condo, the bunk room needs to be for kids only.

Family Spring Break 2019

Great location for a family getaway. Plenty of things to do on the resort with all the different pools, mini putt putt, and even the poolside bars for the adults. Cobalt restaurant next door is wonderful, and the Surf's Up Dolphin cruise is there too. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful condo, beautiful beach!!

The place was beautiful and we loved staying there. The beds were very very comfy and the rooms were extra spacious. The balcony had a very nice view and the building itself was beautiful as well. We wish the lazy rover had been up and running even though it was a bit chilly while we were there, we would have braved the cold to ride it. Definitely reccomend staying here. The kitchen is well equipped and the master shower is amazing!!

Super nice condo.

Condo itself was very nice but the overall building needs some updating and repairs. Also would have been nice to know that the lazy river outside was closed down for some reason. Outside pools need to be heated; they were ice cold. 4 of the 5 days were too cold to swim outside but the last day could have if the pools were heated adequately. Generally satisfied and worth the money though.

Caribe property in general is well maintained & secure. Employees were polite & helpful.

There are a few things that need some attention: the lazy river is "lazy" ~ zero current to move the tubes (paddle or walk your way around). The outside hot tub between Bldg C & D (closest to D) was cold. The condo we rented is managed by Luxury Coastal Vacations. The couple of things we need taken care of were taken care of immediately. We enjoyed Orange Beach & Caribe very much

Incredible vacation destination

We had never visited the Orange Beach area before but we will definitely be back. The Caribe resort was in a perfect spot with beautiful views and wonderful amenities. We watched a gorgeous sunrise every morning from our balcony. Our room was even more beautifully decorated than the pictures showed online. Our grand kids loved playing in all the pools and the lazy river. We enjoyed a beautiful outdoor sunset dinner at the Cobalt restaurant located on the Caribe property while their live band entertained us. Don't hesitate to make the Caribe resort your destination for your vacation to the Orange Beach area.

Great, spacious, modern condo!

We've been to Caribe once before and loved the overall setup of the place - great pools, slides, and lazy river for the kids. Snack bar with delicious treats and adult drinks. Plenty of seating around the pool areas. Easy access to the beach. And beautiful views. This specific condo was amazing, too. Very clean and well maintained. All new modern furnishings, with tons of sleeping areas - air mattresses in the closets, 2 pullout sofas, plus the bedrooms (we didn't even need the pullouts). We had more than enough space for 8 people. Easily could have had 4 or more. The vacation rental company was easy to deal with, quick to respond. We had no issues checking in or out. The view from the balcony was nice, overlooking the lazy river and the gulf. The only "complaint" was from the men of the group - the tv in the living room was not big enough for the size of the room and the distance to the couches. Overall, though, we would stay in this condo again. Great place for a family or several friends get together!

Very well kept condo! Pool was kid friendly and very enjoyable. Recommended to all if you do not plan on spending a lot of time on beach.

Spring Break 2013

Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I absolutely loved the Caribe and this unit! We had almost everything we needed right on site. The unit was decorated so beautiful and the view was breathtaking! My only complaint was I felt the Caribe was understaffed for the amount of Spring-breakers that were their. We can't wait to stay again!
