Set between the waterfront and Peninsula State Park, Ephraim offers an easy blend of natural beauty, outdoor recreation, local dining, galleries, and independently owned shops.
Spend the day strolling along the waterfront, paddling or boating on Eagle Harbor, browsing galleries and shops, or exploring the trails, beaches, overlooks, and shoreline of nearby Peninsula State Park. In the evening, slow down and enjoy the village, watch the sunset over the harbor, or simply take in the quieter side of Door County that makes Ephraim so special.
The Ephraim House is tucked into the woods just two blocks from the waterfront, dining, and shops, and about a mile from Peninsula State Park. Much of Ephraim can be enjoyed on foot or by bike, while some of Door County’s best outdoor recreation is just minutes away. With peaceful surroundings and the village close at hand, it’s an ideal location for experiencing Ephraim in every season.
Guests will have full and private access to The Ephraim House during their stay, including all five bedrooms, living spaces, fully equipped kitchen, two-car garage, private hot tub, fire pit, outdoor areas, and all listed guest amenities. A small locked storage area in the lower level is reserved for housekeeping and owner supplies.
Convenient contactless check-in is provided through secure keypad access. Each reservation receives a unique access code created specifically for the guest’s stay, making arrival simple and secure.
Complimentary parking is available for two vehicles inside the garage, with additional parking for approximately four to five vehicles in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted.
Welcome to The Ephraim House, part of the Houses of Door collection. Thoughtfully designed for families and friends traveling together, this spacious 5-bedroom, 3-bath retreat comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests with plenty of room to gather, relax, and spread out.
The main level features three bedrooms. The spacious king suite includes a private full bathroom, while the Beach Room and Woods Room each feature a queen bed and are conveniently located near another full bathroom. The open-concept living area offers comfortable seating around a beautiful stone fireplace and flows into the chef’s kitchen, where a 12-foot island, generous counter space, and a large dining table make everything from morning coffee to family dinners easy to enjoy together.
The walkout lower level provides additional space to relax, with another king bedroom, a bunk room featuring two full-over-full bunk beds, and another full bathroom with a tub/shower. A large 65-inch 4K television, comfortable seating, video games, and board games create an additional place for guests to unwind. Two adult-size twin rollaway beds are also available for added sleeping flexibility.
Step outside to enjoy the raised deck with fire table, lower-level patio, gas grill, and outdoor fire pit. The private six-person hot tub sits just outside the walkout lower level and is professionally maintained year-round, making it just as inviting after a summer day on the water as it is during a snowy Door County getaway.
Guests also have use of four adult bicycles, two paddleboards, and a kayak for exploring Ephraim and nearby Eagle Harbor. High-speed WiFi, smart TVs, in-unit laundry, and thoughtful amenities throughout the house make both shorter getaways and extended stays comfortable and easy.
The Ephraim House offers the space and flexibility larger groups appreciate while still feeling warm, comfortable, and inviting throughout.
The Ephraim House is conveniently located within walking distance of Ephraim’s waterfront, restaurants, shops, galleries, and village attractions. Peninsula State Park is also just about a mile away, making it easy to explore nearby trails, beaches, golf, and scenic overlooks.
Ample on-site parking is provided, including two spaces in the attached garage and additional driveway parking.
Four adult bicycles are available for guests who would like to explore Ephraim and the surrounding area at a more leisurely pace. For guests arriving by air, Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay is approximately 1½–1¾ hours away, while local general aviation options include Door County Cherryland Airport and nearby Ephraim-Gibraltar Airport.
