A very pleasant stay

We spent 4 days in Amnon's lovely home, which was larger than we expected (more than we needed) and ticked every vrbo box - clean, comfortable; a home-from-home.

Best VRBO Ever

We booked this place for employees working at Google. We book all over the country and this was by far the best VRBO our group has ever stayed in. All was great - really beautiful place.

A fantastic neighborhood perfect for travelers

My parents were visiting me from abroad and I booked Amnon's house for five days. They had a great time during their stay and especially loved the quiet neighborhood. The house was spacious, with a lot of character and perfect for my parents who appreciated the serene surrounding. I highly recommend Amnon's house for travelers tired of the city noise and traffic.

Beautiful home in great location

Our family loved our stay in your beautiful home! It was so clean, comfortable and a perfect location as our teens were attending a camp at Stanford which was just a short drive away. The home and gardens are well kept and had everything we needed and Amnon was lovely to work with! We would definitely rent it again next year. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay - the house was clean and well maintained and had all the basics you would need. The neighborhood was very safe and convenient to Paolo Alto, Stanford campus and the surrounding areas. There was a market and a starbucks around the corner. Overall it was a great experience!

Lovely home

Stayed here over the holiday weekend with our adult children. The home is spacious, very clean with lots of natural light. Multi level so take consideration if there are mobility concerns (all bedrooms upstairs). Bedrooms were good size and very comfortable. The owner was very responsive and attentive. Would stay there again!

Wonderful stay!

Really appreciated the cleanliness, beauty, and uniqueness of this property. We loved spending our morning’s and evenings on the deck surrounded by greenery. The owner was very kind and responsive. The only thing I wish was in the description prior to renting is that the owner (& friend) would be staying in the front room of the home. Otherwise it was an incredible visit and would definitely love to stay here again.

The vrbo was the perfect venue to celebrate, relax, and enjoy the beauty of northern CA. The house is immaculate and offers all of the typical amenities. The decor is lovely, particularly the art and artifacts. The host was kind, helpful and gracious. We will definitely return should we have a need!

Mediterranean get-a-way

Our family loved staying here & the house was in a good location for us. The house has an open floor plan with a basic equipped kitchen, dining, and living area. Bedrooms were upstairs on different levels which provided privacy. The host met us at check-in to hand over the keys and house details. Thanks for everything!

Peace of mind

Stay here if you want a worry free getaway! The positive reviews for this property are right on par. Conveniently located to main roads and Stanford U, but nestled within a nice community for daily strolls. The interior was clean and thoughtfully appointed, a light and airy feel without feeling stuffy. The owner was courteous and responsive. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and clean. The outdoor garden and patio were lovely. We will definently be back! 10 out of 10!

Hi Britt, Thank you so much for your review! When we were at the design stage we tried to analyze the essence of the Greek islands Architecture and we concluded that it was the combination of feeling worry free and the light and airy feel in the interiors.interestingly, these were the main point of your review. Naturally, your review was very gratifying to read.

Lots of SUNSHINE

We loved all the windows and art. I spent time reading in the upper bedrooms because of great sunshine that filled the rooms. Super location...quick drive to the conference my husband was attending. We used the kitchen daily; liked the well designed eating area that was easy the use and clean. Did a few loads of laundry. Only negative: we felt the main floor was too cool to enjoy fully. The owner provided a space heater; however, I may have tripped the circuit breaker or something and we were not able to use it.

Dear Marion, Thank you for your kind words. There is a very simple remedy to have the first floor heated and it is to leave the fireplace on during the night even when you are already in the bedrooms. That is what other guests have done and it worked very well. You are invited to come back and I will provide a significant discount on your stay. Best, Amnon

Great Greek (inspired) Getaway

This property was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in! Amnon (property manager) greeted us upon arrival, allowing us the check in early. The home is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for our family reunion. Conveniently located to downtown Palo Alto (12 mins) but on a quiet street. The backyard garden is stunning and the back deck inviting. All the beds were comfortable with Restoration Hardware bedding. Amnons beautiful art decorates the walls. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen. (The only thing missing was a cookie sheet) I took a video of the entire place when we arrived and I wish I could post it. Rent this Greek inspired sanctuary. You won’t be sorry!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Light-filled modern home

We had a lovely four week stay at Amnon's house. This house shows how a talented architect can elevate a modest suburban dwelling into a something exceptional. The open-plan ground floor is flooded with light from windows & skylights. Amnon keeps a wonderful selection of plants inside and out, providing a constant connection to nature. The outlook is completely private, and the interior décor is tasteful and calming. The ground floor heating takes a few hours to warm up from cold, but it's then easy to maintain temperature. There's a small smart TV, although the location makes watching from the sitting area tricky. The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with two basins and big shower. On the upper floor, there's a spacious bedroom with large south-facing windows and balcony, and one smaller bedroom, plus shared bathroom. The layout and use of space is excellent. The property is the main unit of three. This unit benefits from the main front door and use of the driveway. There is a bit of noise transfer on occasion, but clever design maximises privacy. Amnon welcomed us and was happy to help with anything throughout. He tolerated our noisy young children and associated clutter, and helped us with late checkout on our last day as we had an evening flight. The neighbourhood is safe & quiet, yet very convenient for 101. We walked around and met friendly neighbours. We loved our stay in this well executed and cared for property. Thank you Amnon, we hope to return!

Wonderful Palo Alto/Menlo Park retreat

We recently spent a week at this wonderful vacation property. The location was especially convenient to Stanford where my son was attending a camp and an easy drive to San Francisco to sightsee. The decor is bright, fresh, and inviting. Bedrooms very comfortable, bathrooms clean and nicely equipped, living spaces generously sized and comfortable. Clearly an artists eye designed and finished these spaces. We would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to the area.
