Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautifully remodeled home, the large kitchen, and found our communication quick and responsive. We were surprised by the comments regarding customer service. Before your arrival, we answered numerous questions about items that are not advertised as amenities. When it became apparent that the property might not meet your expectations, we went so far as to offer a full refund and cancellation before your stay. You chose to proceed and specifically told us that your questions did not indicate dissatisfaction and that you expected to really enjoy the property. We respect that every guest has different expectations, but we also believe it is important for future guests to understand that we made every reasonable effort to communicate with you and ensure the home was a good fit before your arrival. I'm sorry you felt the mattresses are uncomfortable, however, they are less than a year old as they were all replaced after last years season. We appreciate your positive comments about the home and will continue to provide clear information and responsive service to our guests.

Hi Kara! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. I wish you would have contacted me about the floors. I would have sent the cleaning crew back immediately. The cottage being clean and sanitized is one of our main priorities. We have not had any issues with our crew in the past. I sincerely hope you did not let the neighbor's flag have an impact on your vacation. Unfortunately, I have no control of what the neighbors do with their property. In this political climate, all we can do is try to get a long with each other. We hope you stay with us again!

Michael, we find it hard to believe that your 2nd stay was that much different than you first. Your first review said ,(copy and pasted directly from your 1st review several weeks ago), "Communication: was always direct, prompt, helpful and appreciated. Overall: great stay and would highly recommend! It is a lovely and updated house and a great place to build memories! Thank you Shanie and family!" You left a negative review this time after I reached out to you to ask you about the damage that was done to the property during your stay, which included a huge dent in a our new dishwasher, the bed upstairs was broken and an enormous amount of dog hair was left behind. We have spent a lot of money in renovations and take great pride in offering our guests a wonderful vacation. It is sad that you had to lie in your review and also that you would not take responsibility for the damage and the mess you left behind. It will cost us a lot of money to repair and I can assure you we are far from scam artist and feels like we were the ones scammed. We wish you the best in your next vacation and hope you take better care of that property than you did ours.
