Island Royale Penthouse 104 2 bd 2 ba gulf-front New polywood balcony furn

Island Royale P104 is an interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the penthouse level overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1015 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops with washer and dryer house in separate laundry room. There are two full baths. The gulf-side primary bedroom has a king bed with an en suite bathroom with standalone walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with access from the bedroom to the hall bath, which has a tub/shower combo. The living room has a sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6 people.

Island Royale is a 16 story building with 6 units per floor located 0.8 miles west of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Island Royale has swim-thru pool, hot tube, steam room, sauna and exercise room. The property also has a grilling/picnic area. There is a 2 car limit. Must be 25 years old to rent. Island Royale is a NO SMOKING facility. Smoking is allowed only by the bbq area.

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great stay

Property was exactly as described it was very clean and had a great location. Was exactly what we looking peace and quiet with a wonderful view. Only issue is that the ice maker in the refrigerator made about one glass of ice a day.

Peaceful, relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at Island Royale! The condo was everything we need. Everything was close and convenient. The view from the balcony was amazing and the room was very relaxing.

Great Location

The condo was nice and clean. The kitchen was okay. It did have a choice of coffee pots - Regular and Kurig, which was good as we brought our own Kcups. They only had scratched silverstone fry pans. but, nice stainless steel pots. All sizes. Not to complain too much, but for the sake of sensitive to noise sleepers, the Master ceiling fan had a ticking clock sound to it, and being the Penthouse, due to windy days, something on the roof rattled which sounded like rain on a tin roof. That wasnt as bad as the ticking. If you are a tall family, you wont like the Bathroom toilet or sinks...they are very low. The shower head in the kids room bath did not have options for adjusting and water pressure was too strong and painful. This is why we gave a 4 star rating overall. Furniture was comfortable and view was amazing! Absolutely beautiful beaches! So clean and groomed. The dining out was great and super convenient. Only good experiences in GS and Orange beach. We will be back!

Island Royals P104

While we enjoyed our time in Island Royale P104 there are repair type items that for the money, should have been repaired and should be repaired before the next person rents the condo. Carpeting as you come into condo is torn and the seam is very rough. It may continue to rip with vacuuming. There seems to be carpet padding missing under a large portion of the carpet in the front (street side) bedroom. You can feel and see the difference. The toilet in the front bathroom nearest the street side door is a weak flusher and seems like it could overflow easily. Chaise lounges on balcony are unraveling and sharp wicker sticks out in multiple places where someone could cut themselves. They are also very uncomfortable. Lamp shade on left side of bed in gulf side bedroom is falling apart underneath. Top of night stand on left side of bed in same bedroom has water damage. Trim in master bathroom around shower has holes in it. Trim on some doors needs paint touch up. You should consider keeping beach type items in room. We left beach towels in room for next person.

One word of caution, your covered reserved spot by the elevators is TIGHT. We were in a Toyota Sequoia and it fit - but everyone except the driver had to exit first. Other than that - EXCELLENT CONDO!

Island Royale

The stay was great and we had an awesome time. The only con to the whole trip was that if you rent beach chairs from Ike’s(the beach personnel was great)was to get down there early enough to get stuff out out in front of chairs you rent. Anyone can setup in front of you after you have paid the money to rent the chairs and umbrellas. Which blocks your view of why you rented the chairs in the first place. It was cheaper for us to rent from Ike’s instead of buying and hauling beach stuff down. We had a great time overall.
