Recently reopened property/calendar! Rates may soon increase, so book now! Renovated and tastefully decorated home in the Old Village of Mt. Pleasant. Three miles to Sullivan's Island, one mile to Shem Creek and five miles to Downtown Charleston! Updated kitchen, equipt for cooking and eating, W/D combo unit, the living area has a smart TV and a dining area for four, hardwoods throughout. The first bedroom comes with a queen bed, the second has twin beds and smart TV. Fenced-in backyard with picnic area and grill, front porch dining table as well. If interested in the grill, please text me once booked for safety instructions. Technically a duplex but lives like a house with its own yard, partking, etc. A high chair attachment is available upon request. Less than a mile to three parks, close to nearly everything on the South side of Mt. Pleasant. One low-shed dog (or two under 20lbs low-shed dogs) welcome with pet fee. For the sake of the neighbors, no loud music anytime but especially at night. Mt. Pleasant has a noise ordinance starting at 11pm that is enforced.

The town bars short term rental guests from parking on street. If you have to for a short time pls use emergency signal lights. Parking in yard ok.

Great Location!

First time in Charleston and would definitely stay again at this location. The area was safe and very nice. The host was also very communicative.

Perfect

This apartment was the perfect size and accommodation for my daughter and I for our quick trip to Isle of Palms Beach. Only a few minutes away at a good value.

Cute little place

Place was cute with a recently remodeled kitchen and nice furnishings. So thankful I was able to bring my dog. The neighborhood was fantastic and great for walking her daily. Loved the location.

A gem in Mount Pleasant

This is such a cute little place, so comfortable, well equipped, and close to everything in Mount Pleasant. Getting ready for a wedding, we really appreciated simple things like a full length mirror and iron with ironing board! There were many little extras to make this place feel like a home in the neighborhood is so quiet and friendly!

Great location

Everything is clean, looks like the pictures, and is close to all the sights. The owners graciously provided snacks even for dogs and bottled water. I would definitely stay there again.

Family Vacation

We had a great time! The house was so comfortable for our family - two adults and two teen girls. Great home base for beach days at Isle of Palms & Sullivan’s Island and exploring and shopping in downtown Charleston. We’d love to return!

Great neighborhood

We really enjoyed the duplex and loved the neighborhood. My wife and I walked to the Pitt St Bridge, the village and all points in between. Great spot.

Fabulous location, nice clean apt

The location was in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with a quick uber drive to downtown. Lots of excellent restaurants a short drive away. The duplex was clean with 2 bedrooms, cozy living room, kitchen (which we used for morning coffee) and a porch. Parking for 2 cars was a bonus.

Quiet friendly neighborhood

This 2 bedroom duplex was just right for me and my daughter & granddaughter while my daughter worked in Charleston! Awesome friendly neighborhood with parks & restaurants close by!!! Owners went over the top to please and make us welcome!

Adorable place!

Great little spot if you’re visiting Charleston! We come to visit family so we don’t often spend much time other than bathing and sleeping in our rentals - this place is otherwise very well located- easy to get to and easy to get anywhere from here. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Only tip I have I pack bug spray! This area has absolutely viscous skeeters!

Charming Home in the Village of Mt Pleasant

We found the home tastefully decorated, amply furnished and equipped with every convenience. The kitchen supplies went beyond the basic coffee, etc, and even included some snacks. It was evident that the owner genuinely cared about their guests.

Wonderful location

The old village is a wonderful area. Quiet streets, dog friendly, beautiful neighborhoods. An easy 10 minute walk brings you to the village center where you’ll find a wonderful cafe, a few boutiques and an excellent restaurant. The house was small but comfortable and the yard was a big hit with our pups. Sallie is an amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

Nice neighborhood, house was cozy, cute and very inviting. The hostesses offered all the amenities. She was quick with response, gave suggestions on local good places. Definitely 10/10. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Minutes away from fantastic restaurants, walks to Shem Creek and Pitt street bridge, and of course historic Charleston. The owners even provided a welcome basket with snacks and information about the area. The neighborhood is quiet and the fenced yard was a plus. It was nice to be able to bring our dog along on this trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing location!

The location of this spot is everything! It’s a great, quiet, safe neighborhood — close to Shem Creek, Sullivan’s, downtown. It’s the perfect size for 2-4 people. The front porch is great to enjoy a little happy hour or morning coffee - but you also have a fenced in backyard. An extra treat: they leave you snacks! Communication with the host was seamless too. Definitely recommend!

Old Village

Location, location, location. Old Village is marvelous, best spot in the Charleston area. For 10 years, we lived a few blocks from this VRBO rental. Nightly rentals are very hard to find in old village. We saw only one draw back. We are older and like a comfy chair. These look fantastic but are designed for younger backs. Still, this place is a gem.

A great stay in Mount Pleasant!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this home in Mount Pleasant! The property was clean and well organized and we had everything that we needed! It is situated in a very quiet and friendly family neighborhood with some neat coffees shops within walking distance. There was also easy access to many shopping and dining options. We had an opportunity to speak with and then meet the owners Jamie and Sallie and they were just delightful people! They were very responsive to any questions that we had about the property and area! We will likely be back again! Thank you Jamie and Sallie!

Memorial day

Thank goodness for a great host and house because our entire trip was all rain!! The area is great, felt super safe. I only marked down for cleanliness because there was a full trash can in the kitchen when we got there. Other than that everything was great! Host was even accommodating with special requests regarding times since we missed out on some fun due to the endless rain.

Wow!! Great rental!

We traveled here with my husband and I and 4 kids between 7 and 3 years old. This house is great! So close to the beach! About 10 minutes by car! Super close to Shem creek! This owner is so available and flexible. We had to change our trip dates a couple times due to some issues with my husband’s work and she was so flexible and accommodating! This rental is so well stocked! K-cups, laundry and dishwasher pods, dish soap- all the necessities and then even some complimentary snacks and dog treats! The house was so clean and very comfortable. Neighbors were nice! We would definitely rent this house again!

Our family has had roots in Charleston, SC for hundreds of years! We have lived in The Town of Mt. Pleasant for 27 years and started this VRBO in 2022. Until last year, we had at least one child in school in the Old Village from the time they were in preschool, and we think of it as our 'second neighborhood'. We live 15 minutes away, which usually allows for easier oversight and communication.
