Charlotte Glamping Dome- Fawn and Fern Hideaway

Come glamp with us just 25 minutes from downtown Charlotte at Fawn and Fern Hideaway. Experience our climate controlled dome with a bathroom, deck and fire pit! We are located in South West Charlotte near Tega Cay. The space is a beautiful twenty three foot dome that is powered by our solar panels and supplied with water from our 375 foot deep well. While our home shares the land, this is our only dome site and you will quickly feel at peace and secluded when you arrive. Our lot is nearly 5 wooded acres. You will have your own access road and private parking.

Enjoy your own kitchenette with sink, mini fridge/freezer, k-cup coffee machine and microwave. Your glamping experience has been upgraded to include a plumbed toilet, and climate control via electric fireplace and AC unit. (Dress for the weather as insulation is limited). The dome sleeps 4 guests with a queen bed and bunk beds. There is a private picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit for your use with whimsical hanging lights and outdoor dining bistro. We plan to one day build an outdoor shower, but until then you may use our wash clothes, soap and sink provided to freshen up as needed.

There is a beautiful tree growing right through your private deck and a great bay window looking into the forest. We have planted lovely hostas and ferns surrounding the dome. Enjoy the community of deer that frequent the site. We have put out deer corn to attract and feed these graceful fawn visitors.

Great Little Getaway

The property was great! The ac worked great even with it being super humid. We just stayed the night as a nice midway point in our travels but couldn’t be happier.

Fantastic experience!

The entire experience was perfect from the start! The process was easy, wonderful place to stay and the best part was the views! My family had a fantastic time here-the feeling of seclusion and peace, but also not far from amenities that you may need. Perfect halfway stop for us on our travels south-would absolutely stay again!

Blissful

This stay was amazing. The woods were so peaceful and the stay was cozy and wonderful. The grill, the fire pit, and the little stream were the perfect compliment to the dome. We will return once the shower is completed. A perfect stay for a weekend.

Great stay at a cool location. Meghan communicated very well and everything was exactly as advertised plus more. Well worth it, and if we are in the Charlotte area we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

This trip was an amazing getaway! The fire pit was awesome and so was the set up of the dome. I can not wait to visit once the shower is ready. I cannot imagine how awesome it would be during the summer!

Took my family to stay for the weekend. Description is 100% accurate. Kids loved playing in the woods and sitting around the fire pit. Would recommend to anyone who wants to spend some time privately in nature!

Relaxing

Just what i was looking for. Great place to get out of the congestion of the city. I do think a shower will attract more people atbthat price. And cleaning the windows would be nice but not a must. Great great place. Smart investment on your part.

Girls night!!

4 of us girls got together to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time!! We made s’mores out on the fire. We all made charcuterie boards and just enjoyed every relaxing minute at the glamping dome!! It was such a fun place and we will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful place for relaxation

Meghan’s property was the perfect place to spend a weekend to get away and relax. The location was peaceful and the dome was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Meghan was a very warm and communicative host. The amenities provided were exactly as described and the rental process overall was very smooth. I would highly recommend this to property to anyone and hope that we are able to make it back eventually.

We had a great time glamping with our 7 year old. This was his first time camping so we figured having a bed and ac would make it more enjoyable for him. I'm so glad we chose this location. It was close to home, grocery stores nearby, great communication with the owners, very clean, it was even super relaxing listening to the rain fall on the dome. It was everything we hoped for. We will definitely be back again in the fall.

Relaxing

I wanted to feel like I was camping but wanted to stay in a cabin. This Dome was perfect! It was facing the woods, the open windows gave it an extra pop and plus I felt safe. I would recommend others to use the water heater to heat up your water to take wash ups due to no showers but overall I enjoyed my stay. 10/10

Perfect getaway!

I recently stayed at the Fawn and Fern Hideaway with my spouse and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. Our host was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay. Meghan and Richard provided us with all the information we needed to make the most of our time there, and I am so grateful for her help. The property itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the dome as well as the lights and outdoor areas! I highly recommend the Fawn and Fern Hideaway to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
