Want to get a way? Enjoy nature? Unplug from every day life? Our cabin is your perfect getaway. In the mist of 323 acres there are several hiking trails and 2 fishing ponds. Want to explore Excelsior Springs? We are 10 miles from downtown Excelsior where you will find cute boutiques, museums, and the famous Elms which hosts a day spa. Like wine? We are nestled between 3 local wineries--all within 10 minutes from us--Shamrock Hills Vineyard and Winery (next driveway), Van Till Family Winery and Vineyard, and Fence Stile. Excelsior Springs offers wine trolley tours through out the year. Want to just chill? How about by the outdoor fire place, or fire wall. Sit on the patio sip your coffee and listen to nature and watch the variety of birds. Enjoy watching the neighbor’s cows from the front porch. We are kid and pet friendly. Great for a weekend with the guys or girls, a crafting get away, or couple's retreat--there are options.

Vært: Denise Riley
Hi! We are Mike and Denise Riley, the owners of the Shamrock Ranch in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. We have been married almost 30 years and in 2020 we purchased this 323 acre property as a retirement adventure. While Mike still works outside of the home, Denise has stepped away from her 25+ Human Resource Career and enjoys showing off this property to guests. Initially, it was purchased as a hunting property for Mike and friends and family, and while we DO NOT offer public hunting, the space is so versatile that we decided to rennovate a 100 year old Quonset barn into a small event space and turn the 40'x100' section of the pole barn into a reception venue. During this process we remodeled and added on to a cabin that was originally built in the 1940's which is the cabin you see in the pictures. For events we use it as a place for hosts to stay or brides and wedding parties to get ready in. However, during our off season, we decided to just rent out the cabin. Which is where we are today. This place is truly a piece of heaven and we look forward to sharing it with you and your loved ones!

This property is off the beaten path. So if you want to get a way from city life or your visiting family nearby and want a place to escape--this is the place for you. We are 10 miles from Excelsior Springs and 40 minutes from downtown Kansas City, Missouri--what a great place for a weekend getaway, or a small couples retreat. We also have 3 RV sites on the property that will hold 40'+ RV's and have water and electric at the site. We will rent those for a small additional fee.
