The Château de La Brosse estate (private), listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments, has several buildings including the Château de la Brosse (17th century) and outbuildings including a house that we have transformed into a modern, peaceful gîte, with all the facilities with access to the Castle Park, its swimming pool and its tennis court.
The Centre Val de loire region is full of cultural activities, sports for the whole family.
CULTURE
The estate is located at the entrance to the Brenne regional park, 30 minutes from the Château de Valençay, the Château de Bouges or the Royal City of Loches, the Château d'Azay le Rideau and 1h15 from Tours, 1 hour from the main Loire Valley castles (Chenonceau, Amboise, Le Clos Lucé etc).
The animal parks are nearby: 1 hour from Beauval Zoo or 1/2 hour from the Haute Touche animal park.
During the summer, many festivals are organised in the region around classical music, voice, electronic music, dance etc.
The Domaine de Georges Sand is 45 minutes away.
SPORT
There are rivers for those who wish to go canoeing and an 18-hole golf course in Villedieu sur Indre (20 minutes).
Bicycles are available you can go hiking in the countryside or in the Brenne regional park or to go on the trails of the Indre valley.
There is an equestrian centre 5 minutes from the Domaine.
GASTRONOMY
For those who want a good meal, there are many restaurants in the region, whether in the town of St Lactencin (O'St Lac) 5 minutes away or in Buzançais 5 minutes away (L'Hermitage, Peregrinations, La crêperie des petits aprliers).
25 minutes away, in the village of St Valentin, you will find an excellent starred restaurant run by a Japanese chef (As of February 14).
Shops are 5 minutes from the estate.
