Comfy, close to beach

The bungalow was clean and comfortable, and just a quick walk to the beach. Time at the beach, followed by a soak in the hot tub made this a perfect visit.

Nice couple of days in Aptos

Everything was great in the place. One minor suggestion would be to change the location of the sofas since it's easier to see the tv if the big sofa is facing it.

Peaceful Bungalow Secret

Weekend stay at a perfectly outfitted bungalow. Quick walk to the beach with provided chairs and umbrella, easy lunch at Pixie, delightful dinner at Persephone, quiet night's rest, private hot tub soaks, easy parking. Really a great location and lovely warm lodging. We hope to stay again!

Elopement Getaway

Our group enjoyed our stay! The perfect place for 3 adults and a large dog. We had our elopement in the Redwoods and this place provided adequate space for all three of us to get ready. House was fully stocked with everything you'd need. Although we didn't need it, they had many items for children both inside the home and the backyard. Having a stress-free place to stay was highly appreciated for our event.

Beach Get A Way with a relaxing Back Yard

We come to this area 1-2 times a year. This property is a great location, very clean, well equipped kitchen, loved the clean hot tub and the backyard. Instructions to operate fireplace were helpful & the hidden switch for backyard outside lighting(behind the Murphy Bed, a little tricky). Never found TV directions. Close to Rio Del Mar Beach (Walkable) and Aptos Village (by car). Only negative was the dog in front house (B) barked when we came and went. But that’s what they do~

Stayed with a friend. Place is very family and pet friendly. Lots of things for kids to do. Hot tub set at 100, a bit too cool for us. Need salt and pepper shakers. Maybe a list of what we could have recycled besides bottles and cans. Really nice. Would recommend to a small family.

The house was very welcoming and sunny. With some communication prior to arrival, the host was able to accommodate all 4 of us in this moderate space. I wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor space which included a hot tub and was as large as the inside of the house. The neighborhood was very quiet, and we had no issues with parking or finding the home. We did take advantage of the home's proximity to the beach (5 minutes) and took a long morning walk before our departure.

A beautiful home with some caveats

My family of 4 (plus dog) enjoyed many aspects of this home. However, two major inaccuracies in the listing are worth mentioning. 1. It is listed as 2 bedroom, but is definitely a 1 bedroom with a second bed in the living room. This was a surprise to us when we arrived, as the photos and listing suggested 2 bedrooms, and anyone who has traveled with young kids knows the difference between being able to put kids to bed in a closed door bedroom, vs the living room. This meant everyone had to essentially go to bed and wake up at the same time (not ideal).2. There is an additional rental property on site with other guests that share entryway, laundry, trash. I wish this had been mentioned in the listing, since we often worried about our kids disturbing the other guests, and my understanding of VRBO had been that you got the entire property.Aside from this, the home was beautiful, well-stocked, with lots of natural light. The yard was great for kids with a trampoline and hot tub. There is no AC, but opening the windows during the day kept the temperature between 60-80 degrees. The location was wonderful, a short walk to the beach, we loved Venus Pie Trap for morning coffee and pastries, and Nisene Marks Forest was just a few minute’s drive.Host was responsive, neighborhood felt very safe, and Aptos was a wonderful place to visit.

Lovely little home

This was perfect for my wife and I (and our large dog). Loved the proximity to the beach while being quiet and out of any busy areas. Our only complaint, which is not so much a complaint than it is an FYI for future guests, is that the neighborhood had 0 street lights. We got into town after dark and it was a bit hard to find the house and get unpacked. If you think you'll be there after dark, bring a flashlight.

Fantastic getaway

This bungalow was exactly as advertised and more. We had a great time, home was comfy, hot tub was hot, beach was close, and it was close to some great restaurants and hikes. 10/10 look forward to coming back and staying again!

Comfortable beach living

Have stayed here previously, and this time did not disappoint! Quiet, relaxing home with all amenities. Easy quick walk to beach and short drive to Nisene park to walk among the redwoods. Host is always very prompt to answer questions. Will definitely return!!
