The location is amazing and the house was perfect. Even though it was chilly and windy we were cozy and happy on our trip. We still found time to enjoy the beach and it’s super accessible and the house had all we needed to enjoy our time. The major win was the double washer and dryers, game changer if you are traveling with kiddos!

Literally the best place we’ve ever stayed, and we do beach trips a lot. Everything is there so you don’t have to lug in your own like beach cart, chairs, beach towels, etc. and the hot tub is so cleaner and divine. They continuously check on it so I was confident on how clean it was (and I am very picky about that!). Well air conditioned (this is a thing for us) and still plenty to do even if weather isn’t great like it was for us for a couple of days. Host was so responsive, place was incredibly clean, and loved every minute of it. Well priced and below what others were charging and it’s the first time I’ve seen a place and thought it was wayyyyyyy nicer than the pictures. Arcade was loved by the kiddo, and it seriously could not have been better. Easy walk across a not very busy street and beach access was right there. It was too cold to swim the days we were there but the pool is right outside the house. I would give ten stars if I could.

We fell in love when we saw The Whale Cottage...We bought this beach house because we love spending time as a family together by the water. We are very happy about our family home and excited to share it with you.

It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy each other’s company. The sunsets are beautiful, the waves are calming and you can watch your kids play in the sand for hours on end. Plus, it’s just a short 137 steps from the house so no need to drive or walk far to feel the sand.

The Whale Cottage was designed with you and your family in mind. We have thought of everything you might need, and not want to pack to bring to the beach. We have 5 beach cruisers (bikes), body boards, beach towels, umbrellas, beach wagon, beach toys, coolers...all you need to bring is sun block!

This coastal home was designed by Jennifer Overton, a licensed architect and designer, with a focus on light, airflow, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. The architecture reflects a modern coastal aesthetic, with intentional design choices that enhance both comfort and oceanfront living
