Nyligt ombygget hjem på 10 hektar ligger oven på en høj butte nær Schwarzwald, kun en kort køretur fra “The Springs”, Air Force Academy, Denver og Castle Rock.

Hvis du leder efter afsondret ro, er dette stedet for dig - tæt nok til byerne til udforskning og shopping, men langt væk fra trafik og støj. Nyd den betagende panoramaudsigt over Pikes Peak og Rockies fra bagdækket, suppleret med lejlighedsvis hjorte observationer og spektakulære solnedgange.

I've posted dozens of reviews on multiple subjects and I always try to be accurate and not simply give glowing reviews because others have. I can honestly say that our stay at Robyn's guest house was incredible in every way. We stayed for 2 full weeks and had various family members and friends rotate in and out, with a maximum of 6 at any time There is no aspect of the entire experience that wasn't superlative.

Amazing in every way! This was our fourth stay at The Guesthouse, and our son’s graduation from USAFA. It was the perfect location to savor ‘lasts’ and celebrate with family and friends. The outdoor patio was in full use and the views did not disappoint! We love Robyn’s thoughtfulness and the warmth and coziness of this beautiful home-away-from-home. Fingers crossed, our son makes it back to teach at USAFA so we have an excuse to visit again.

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Absolutely beautiful property. Driving in we saw it on the butte and thought “wouldn’t that be neat if that was our place” AND THEN IT WAS! Beautifully furnished inside and out. Would stay here again—parents and kids alike were big fans and sad to leave.

Beautiful Home with Stunning Views

We couldn’t have asked for a better home or hostess. The moment we walked in, we could see the amount of care and detail that was put into the home and into making our stay comfortable. Everything was beautifully updated and immaculate and the views were STUNNING! The cozy sunroom, comfortable all season room addition with huge windows on all sides, and large back patio with lots of lounging options - all with beautiful views - were our favorite spots to relax. Beyond my expectations! As a new mom of a cadet at the Air Force Academy, I wanted a place I could enjoy every minute of my son. Nailed it! He was so happy and content. This home exceeded our expectations in every possible way! The booking experience was so easy and the host, Robyne was wonderful to work with and her attention to detail is unparallelled. The home is immaculately clean, beautiful, organized, perfectly stocked, quiet, comfortable and spacious. The outdoor space is perfect, with both an outdoor kitchen with dining area and a gas fire pit for the cool Colorado Springs nights….and then there’s the VIEW! Waking up to Pikes Peak as the backdrop to our morning coffee every day was magical, and the sunsets did not disappoint! If you’re looking for a home away from home that’s even better than home, this is the place!

Amazing experience!

This house was absolutely beautiful. It sits on top of a large hill and the views are amazing. The kids loved all the aces to explore and we saw lots of wild life! The host is about as good as it gets! I couldn't recommend more.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our stay at Robyn's place was spectacular. She has provided every comfort imaginable, and the home was beautiful and extremely clean. The panoramic views were incredible! Communication with Robyn was always easy, and she was quick to respond. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away and relax for a bit. Perfect place to enjoy with family or friends. We look forward to visiting again someday!

Amazing mountain retreat

We stayed at this beautifully appointed home for USAFA graduation. It’s a gorgeous view and the place was spotless and had all the amenities. Hosts were accommodating and had breakfast items ready for us. It’s about 25 minutes to the north gate. We will stay again if we go back to Colorado Springs.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO and couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family to share and spend Christmas week 2025. The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home from the moment we arrived.The space was perfect for our family to relax and spend time together, with plenty of room for everyone. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the stay extra comfortable, and the property was exactly as described—actually even far exceeded our expectations by a long shot!. The mountain and front range views , wildlife and the host providing breakfast food for that first morning was over the top service and such a special touch! The host was responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This is the kind of place that makes memories, and we would happily stay here again in the future. Highly recommend to families or anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable getaway! Thank you Robyn and VRBO! We have stayed in several VRBOs over the years but never one as wonderful, warm and with such a gracious and accommodating host! This was our first experience using vrbo, and Robyn has set the bar incredibly high! The view from the house is breathtaking, the house is spotless and the host is so thoughtful! No pictures could do this property justice. We couldn't have asked for better house/host.

We were blown away by the beauty of this location and the property. The house is very cozy, it has everything you need and then some more. The attention to detail is outstanding. They made our stay very special. I would recommend this property a million times and hopefully will be visiting again in the near future. Family vacation

This property is even better than the pictures portray. The owner has stocked it with EVERY kitchen or party utensil you may ever need, and even has tons of spices on hand for your cookout/dinner. Communication with the owner was easy. Definitely recommend and if we ever travel in the area again we will try to get this property. 10 out of 10.

My husband, Rob, is a native Coloradan who built our home next door a little more than 40 years ago. He bought this guesthouse property back in 2002 simply because he fell in love with the mountain views and sunsets. Over the years it’s been a VRBO rental, a private guesthouse, and even Rob’s office for a time before his company outgrew it. Rob’s three grown children and their families are also part owners, and together we all cherish this home and the tranquility it provides.

In 2018, we completed a full top-to-bottom remodel so we could share this beautiful setting once again as a peaceful mountain getaway. Most recently, we expanded the outdoor living area with a brand-new 50-foot deck and gathering space, an outdoor kitchen, a large firepit, and plenty of seating. Part of the new deck was enclosed to create about 200 square feet of additional sunroom space with year-round views. It’s become one of everyone’s favorite spots—especially with the basket of blankets guests can grab before heading out to sit by the firepit on cooler evenings.

As for me, I’m originally from Texas and moved to Colorado when Rob and I married. Texas will always be in my heart, but Colorado’s 300+ days of sunshine and mountain scenery (and Rob!) won me over. I serve as the property manager, decorator, supply-stocker, and backup housekeeper. I genuinely enjoy preparing the home so it feels welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for every guest.

We live next door, so we get to enjoy this beautiful setting every day — and it never loses its magic. The sweeping views of Pikes Peak, the big Colorado sky, and the unforgettable sunsets are what make this neighborhood so special to us. The guesthouse sits at the very end of a quiet cul-de-sac on 10 private acres, so it feels peaceful, relaxed, and tucked away from the busier parts of town.

It’s wonderfully quiet here. You’ll often spot deer wandering through or hear nothing but the breeze and the birds. Yet you’re still just a short drive from restaurants, shopping, hiking, and everything Colorado Springs has to offer. We’ve always loved that balance — the calm and privacy of country living paired with the convenience of nearby amenities.

As a Texas girl at heart, hospitality means a lot to me. Making this place welcoming, comfortable, and easy for guests to enjoy has truly been a joy. This is our home, and sharing it with others has become one of the things we love most.
