Amazing View, Quiet Cove of Bernards Landing, Sandy Beach, 3 Kings and Twin Bunk

From the moment you arrive, the beauty of Smith Mountain Lake surrounds and relaxes you in this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom updated condo located on the manicured grounds of Bernard’s Landing. Feel the stress melt away as the abundance of natural light floods in through our wall of windows. Take a load off and soak in the lovely view from our wrap around deck in one of the two seating areas or enjoy the double porch swing. Don’t worry about anything once you arrive; this unit is tastefully appointed with all of the luxuries you desire. Unlike most other rental units, clean linens are included in your rental fee.

The master bedroom 1 on the main level has a king size bed with cathedral ceiling, a full bath plus a rollout crib that can be used in either bedroom on this floor. Bedroom 2 on the main level also has a king size bed with cathedral ceiling along with a direct door to a full bath - works as a master bedroom. The master bedroom 3 in the spacious loft has a king size bed along with a twin bunk bed and elevated ceiling and full bath. All three bedrooms have wall mounted Smart Roku TVs with cable TV (espn, etc) and free Wi-Fi.

When you awake, you are at beautiful Bernard's Landing with access to 2 outdoor pools, an indoor pool, exercise room, sauna, a beach area including volleyball, tennis, pickleball, racquetball, basketball and more.

Want to get out on the lake? There are ample marinas (including one on-site) offering a variety of watercraft rentals including power boats, jet-skis, kayaks, paddleboards and more. With your boat rental from the marina you can use multiple boat docks just steps away from the condo. If you have your own boat there is an easily accessible onsite boat ramp. You can even watch your family tube or water ski around the large cove directly in front of the condo.

The children will enjoy playing at the sandy beach right in front of the condo, and the large beach area with cabanas and chairs is just a short walk away.

The Bernards Landing community sits only 8 miles from the popular Westlake area, which includes a variety of dining options, gift shops, and activities for everyone, as well as a large grocery store. Convenience stores are close by, along with a highly recommended onsite restaurant, Napoli By the Lake.

NOTE: As per Franklin County Regulations, occupancy is limited to 6 Adults (defined as anyone aged 3 or older) children under 3 are not counted for occupancy limits. Unit can accommodate 6 adults plus additional children under 3. All rentals at Bernards Landing have this same regulation.

We had a great time at Smith Mountain Lake and at this condo. The water access was outstanding and the condo was clean and comfortable . The owners are responsive and leave excellent instructions for renters. The sunsets and views are lovely!

Wonderful Property and Location on the Smith Mountain Lake

We rented Lazy Days (three couples) and could not have been any happier with the property and location. Condo was just as pictured, clean and well stocked. Location was beautiful and the view of the lake amazing. We rented a Pontoon Boat from Bernard's Boat Rental to use while there and it was absolutely perfect. First time at Smith Mountain Lake and Bernard's Landing, but will be returning for certain. Highly recommend

Beautiful condo, loved the end unit with wrap around deck for sun, shade, breeze or covered area to get out of the rain as needed. Kitchen is small, but well furnished, new microwave, dishwasher, a pantry for your own storage and electric grill on the deck. We were a 3 generation family, grandkids upstairs, adults down, lots of space for everyone. Check in - the exact code instructions are on the first email confirmation, not the later ones. I confused myself by losing track of which email to access. My fault.

Perfect condo for a week on the lake. Easy boat ramp and water access. House was clean and had everything needed. If you bring your own boat or PWC, you do need to pay a daily fee and get stickers, which can be done ahead of time or when you arrive. Dock access is very convenient too. Lots of amenities included at the club house, but the water was so alluring we didn’t use any! Quiet neighborhood. We will return!

This is a lovely condo overlooking the water. We enjoyed sunrise breakfasts on the balcony & watching boats in the bay. Traffic was light so road running was enjoyable. We docked our boat right next to the condo so it was really, really convenient. The water at the dock is deep enough that we could keep our trim down the entire time. The water must be high in iron because there’s a red tinge, but that doesn’t deter water sports or swimming. Overall - go for it. This is a nice place in a quiet setting with responsive owners.

Beautiful and clean are the best ways to describe the property.

The property is well kept with beautiful views of the lake and mountain. We would strongly recommend to get or bring a boat as the lake is huge with hundreds of coves and sights. Shopping is about 15 minutes away and has movies, golf, Kroger etc. Do you like to fish? Then you better to get ready!

Nice inside and out, right on the lake, easy access to facilities.

Very nice unit. Clean inside and out. nice deck, well equipped, owners very responsive. All rooms have smart TVs. This was our first time to this part of the lake. We had to leave early for personal reasons, so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked, but what we saw looked nice. Plan on returning.

Great condo

We had a wonderful stay here for a week in August! We have been coming to Bernard’s Landing for years and have stayed in many accommodations there. Some of the things we loved about this unit include: well stocked upgraded kitchen, very large shady deck, view of Smith Mountain, sandy beach right by the building’s boat dock for kayaks and paddle boards, location on a quiet cove for skiing, and the layout of the condo. There were two couples in our party, so we didn’t use the loft bedroom, but we liked the cathedral ceilings and spaciousness of the condo.

Fantastic Family Friendly Lake Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Lazy Days this past week. Berndard's Landing is absolutely perfect for a 2 and 4 year old. We spent most days on the little beach adjacent to the condo and on the day that it rained we made use of the indoor pool! The water in the lake was really warm, perfect for the little ones. We also did some fishing and my 4yo caught his first fish! I managed to reel in an impressive largemouth bass, as well. We made use of the onsite boat rental and rented a waverunner and the Aurora Triton, which we navigated to Bridgewater Marina one evening for ice cream and games. Keeping a 2 and 4 year old entertained is a full time job but with the amenities at Bernard's it was a breeze. The place had everything we needed and the next time we are planning a family vacation, Lazy Days at Berndard's Landing will be high on the list.

Our property has a beautiful wide water view of the lake and Smith Mountain. We love our end unit which offers a very large outdoor deck area and additional windows. The property and water view affords the ability to relax and get away from it all. At the same time we enjoy the convenience of West Lake shopping and restaurants. As grandparents we most enjoy watching the grandchildren play on the sandy beach or ski on the large cove right in front of the condo. Linens and bath towels are provided - so that is one less thing to worry about for your family.

Each of the 3 bedrooms has a king bed. Additional bedding for children includes a twin bunk bed and a crib. All bedrooms have mounted Smart TV's with cable and cathedral ceilings. Condo has a small beach right in front of unit. You can watch your family tube and ski in the cove right from your deck. Bernard's Landing has great amenities which include one indoor pool, two outdoor pools, racquetball, tennis, basketball, horseshoes and pickleball courts, boat ramp and restaurant. Onsite marina is available for boat or jet ski rentals and boat docking within steps of the condo.
