We love seeing this review. Our Casa Sea Esta place in Oak Island is truly a peaceful destination. The tranquil canal right on the backside and the beach within a short walk distance makes it all worth it.

The house is beautiful, directly on the Davis Canal. You walk up to the right of the enterance to gain access. You walk into the kitchen, there are two rooms on the right with a small shower bath combo and one to the left with a nice shower. Of note there is no tv in the kids bedroom with bunk beds. The house needs a good scrub, from what we noticed (probably just lots of bookings), however it is well appointed. Also, we noticed a lot of lightbulbs that needed to be replaced. Overall, we had a great time and appreciate the host and home.

We have vacationed at Oak Island since 2006, and of the houses that we have rented, this was my favorite. The house was very clean, and nicely decorated without feeling cluttered. Kitchen had lots of storage space for groceries, and the basics for meal prep. Beds were comfortable.We loved the dock and spent a good bit of time fishing. The yard area has a fire pit that we didn't get to use, but they have plenty of chairs for seating around it. There is also a picnic table and swing under the house. The location worked well for us. It is a short drive to the beach, and most days I walked to the beach over the scenic walkway on 31st. The views from the walkway at sunrise and sunset are worth it. It is close to Publix, and an easy drive to other grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend for your next OKI vacation!

This was a very lovely and comfortable house, perfect for our family. It was right on a canal and my son enjoyed fishing. We walked to the beach and we enjoyed the neighborhood.

Wonderful house, good communication and just really lovely location to relax, fish or launch from. Last house on the street with a private dock right on the canal. Firepit with hardwood that we grilled dinner over.

Beautiful beach house on canal exactly as described. Enjoyed fishing and crabbing on canal dock. Wood fire pit was a hit for smores. Highly recommend for families. Our hosts, David and Darla were easy to contact with any questions.

Great stay

Even though we ended up staying through a tropical storm, we had a great time and enjoyed the house and property. We would definitely come back and stay again. The hosts were very responsive to texts and made sure we had everything we needed!

Our stay was amazing. The weather cooperated with the most beautiful accommodations. The listing was spot on. Short drive to the beach and a private dock out your back door. We would definitely recommend. We would like to stay again next year.

Precious Spot

Spring break

We had a wonderful time at casa sea esta! The location and accommodations were great. Property was clean and within walking distance to the beach. David was always available and responsive to our needs. We enjoyed the slow pace and beauty of OKI.

Great Trip

The house worked great for my husband, parents, 20 month old and myself. The space was great andd very close to things to do but far enough away to relax. Would definitely come back for another vacation.

We are David and Darla Bermeo, a Mortgage broker and Microbiologist, respectively, residing here in North Carolina.
We have 4 beautiful children, all grown, except for our little Oscar (10yr). When we’re not running around with family chores, we love to go to Oak Island Beach (OKI). Here you find us fishing and kayaking on the canal or eating at one of the awesome restaurants in and around OKI. As a couple, David and I are quite the “Salsa-Duo” (David is native Colombian) who love to visit every Salsa club we can find!

We have a motto, “It’s all apart of the journey “.

We hope to make this part of your journey a memorable tranquil experience you’ll want to revisit again and again….

Oak Island is a very unique and relaxing area. Less touristy and tranquil. There is a good mix of activities and restaurants to keep you busy on the Island. Why I chose this property and area is due to the view from the back porch. On the deck it just screams a "Nicholas Sparks" novel.

Casa Sea Esta offers you comfort and style within 12 minutes walk to the beach or 3 min short ride. The views of Davis Canal on your private dock will take your breath away. Custom fire pit and beach bicycles for your enjoyment. Peace and tranquility at its best, at nights chill on the upper level porch and hear the ocean breeze or simply enjoy nature.
