If you are headed to Yosemite ( 11 miles from the south gate) or Bass Lake (just 4 miles) or just want to escape from the crowded city, this home is the answer. The house is on one of the best Lewis Creek frontage properties where you can listen to the relaxing sound of the waterfalls in the backyard or take a dip in one of the 3 refreshing pools. This 3 bdrm 2 bath home offers a view from every room. Conveniently located off Hwy 41, only 4 miles from the town of Oakhurst. The well-established neighborhood is quiet and the cabin is in a cul-de-sac. The neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children, either 2 or 4-legged, where they can safely experience nature. There are restaurants nearby or you can take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. There are TV's in every room, and a dog door that goes out to a large and secure fenced area for your pets to roam yet be safe. The house above is also a vacation rental. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

One of the best rental experiences

This rental property did not disappoint! It is truly a magical and peaceful retreat with an amazing backyard with river access. My whole family was very impressed and instantly started thinking about our next stay here in the future. Excellent communication with the host and the welcome cookies were incredible! The house has all your basic amenities and more. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Beauty Surrounds You

You will find beauty everywhere here, from the layout of the home and the decor to the natural landscape and creek running in the back yard. Everything is superb! The hosts are accommodating and great at communicating, but they are also sweet! We appreciated their courtesy and kindness.We spent the first day enjoying the property, the second exploring Yosemite, the third at the house again until late afternoon at Bass Lake, and the fourth getting ready to say goodbye. We hope to return again someday…maybe a colder season to enjoy the pellet stove. I would have stayed longer if I could!

Wonderful Christmas

It was such a beautiful spit to spend our Christmas, the the house was cozy, all the rooms had a great view and the kitchen was well stocked!! The near by creeck was beautiful and was agood distnace from anything we needed. Would definitely book again.

beautifully appointed, very clean & welcoming, and our hostess was extremely helpful when we had questions. only wish we had more time to figure out how to fire up the pellet fireplace properly, but maybe next time!

Best Thanksgiving ever!

The property owner/mgmt team could not be more responsive & accommodating. The backyard is more beautiful than the pictures can show. We actually took some professional family pics there. The house is beautifully curated with everything you could possibly need. Every bedroom has a stunning view. It’s such a peaceful getaway that is less than 10 minutes from the shops/restaurants of Oakhurst. Absolutely love it!

My daughter and I LOVED this home. The river, pellet heater, jacuzzi, bathtubs… all of it. The beds were comfortable, and the TV had all the streaming apps, Close to Yosemite. Highly recommended.

Relaxing

We took our family here and enjoyed the location being close to the railroad where we did the Halloween train. Highly recommend that train ride and event! We did gold panning too and enjoyed the lesson as well.

The cabin felt like home. Well stocked, clean, great appliances and plenty of sitting areas outside. The owner was very gracious and responds quickly to all my questions. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Dream Come True!

We think it was the best time of the year to make a trip to Yosemite. The weather was perfect! The Cooling System and Fans were on when we arrived but we didn't need any for the rest of the week. This Property is gorgeous! There are three pools in the creek at the bottom of the property, Horse Shoes and Fire Pit on the Second with a covered Table for Picnics and a Hot Tub nearest the Master Bedroom. The house is furnished beautifully! Everything we needed we found easily. Definitely a Winner!! Thank you again for the Memories!

My FAVORITE getaway spot for sure!

Easy, affordable, clean, great location, super comfy beds, relaxing. The hosts photos do not do it justice. Surpassed my expectations and I cannot wait to come back. That backyard!! Lovely lovely! The host and housekeeper were incredibly welcoming and there is not one thing I could list as an improvement, not one. I’m coming back if they will have me. Thank you for the memories!!

My children and I had a wonderful stay in Yosemite. The house was perfect for us. It’s sat on a beautiful piece of land that overlooked a peaceful creek. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was an very enjoyable stay.

Relaxing; beautiful view; very close to Yosemite South Gate

Grandpa (78), mom (42), and two teenagers. The rooms are all on one level, so my dad had no problem getting around. We used the BBQ. We went into Yosemite 2 days. We stayed at the house and relaxed 2 days. There are several games to play. My son LOVED the piano. The bench is full of sheet music. (We don't have perfect pitch, so I have no idea how well it's tuned.) My dad loved the furniture. The kitchen is stocked with all sizes of pots and pans. The house had everything we needed. I would not take my toddlers there. There is some pretty tempting furniture to climb and a lot of other things you would have to move to baby proof. There is a baby gate on the back deck to protect from the stairs. While the drive to Yosemite South Gate is only 20-30 minutes, the drive from there to the Valley Floor is another hour. Just plan that into your itinerary. And be sure to check when you need reservations to the park.

Convenient location for Bass Lake

Rental was very clean and prepared down to small details for our visit. The property backs up to a private area for river/small waterfall access, which did not disappoint and was definitely enjoyed daily in the summer heat. Our dog also spent some time with us near the water, which was fun and convenient. Full amenities such as fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, beach towels, televisions in every room, the list goes on! There were bbq grills as well, if that’s something you’re looking for. Guest bathroom had a jetted tub (though did not try it out). Each bathroom was stocked with varieties of bath salts and bath bombs. Location was just on the outskirts of Oakhurst and only takes about 10 minutes if you want to spend a day in town or get groceries.

Bass Lake Retreat

What a gem! This cabin at Bass Lake was the perfect getaway for our family (including our furry friend). Just steps away from a gorgeous private creek and a short hop to Bass Lake itself. The moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The cabin was clean and comfortable throughout. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed to whip up tasty meals, and the whole property offered plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation. If you're searching for a welcoming and enjoyable spot for the whole family, this place is a great choice. We highly recommend it!

Great Location!

Pictures of this house are accurate. There is a creek in back and it is lovely. Easily accessible to Yosemite, Bass Lake and river rafting. I would definitely stay here again.

Got my green therapy in the mountains

Love the woodsy mountain property by a creek! It was great for a little family get away. The kitchen/ dining area was a nice size for prep/ meals/familygames& puzzles. The communication w/ owner was good. Fair warning for those with mobility issues: the house and deck was easy to navigate but the walk in the woods down to the creek or to the top of the driveway was steep so those w/ bad knees may find that walk difficult. But the view and sound of the gurgling creek was so relaxing from the house. But from the parking area to the house to the deck was easy . It’s close to Yosemite and Bass Lake . Both are definitely worth a visit. Thanks to Kadi!

Paradise Plus

My son ,his girlfriend and I stayed at this gorgeous property to take in all the amenities and the gorgeous views. The hummingbird feeder was in perfect site in front of the dining rm table, the decor of the house, jacuzzi and most of all the creek, Awesome !!! Listening to the creek was so peaceful that we kept our windows open at night. The drive into Yosemite was wonderful and we couldn't get enough of Yosemite. We all had beautiful experience and an abundance of pictures to share. Perfect time of year !!! Loved the Whole experience !!!!!!!

Beautiful creekside location & very well-equiped

Our party of five had such a wonderful time staying at this creekside home. The backyard is majestic, with nature abounding, soothing sounds of water flowing in the creek and birds chirping, and the relaxing hot tub. We like to cook and the kitchen was one of the best-equiped rentals we've stayed in. The location is also fabulous, only 10 minutes to Bass Lake (where paddle boarding was my favorite), and 20-30 minutes from the South Gate of Yosemite. We had a wonderful family vacation and would for sure stay here again.
