Boat ramp and tackle shop are less than two minutes away. Spend your mornings watching manatees move through the canal and then hop on our fishing kayaks or SUPs, or tie your boat to our dock and explore the beauty of the Indian River. Finish your day off by taking your boat to dinner and watching a local band play! This is the Florida Life and we are so excited to share it with you.

The house was clean and well stocked for all of our needs. Enjoyed seeing the manatee and the fish jumping while sitting on the dock in the evenings. Perfect location for easy access to Canaveral and New Smyrna areas. Communication with host was easy.

Thank you for the feedback and we apologize the the lights were not working at the dock while you were there. The electrician came out and fixed it so the lighting is back on as well as the underwater lights to attract fish.

Work at Cape Canaveral Nat'l Seashore

Great location for access to and from our job sites which ranged from just north of Cape Canaveral all the way north to New Smyrna. Very comfortable for 3 adults. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this property. The home was very well-appointed and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing visit. It was clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully stocked.We came to the area for a fishing trip with our teenage boys. Unfortunately, we left empty-handed, but the boys had a great time exploring new waters and trying their luck somewhere different. Fishing in a new area is always a learning experience, and as we like to say, that's why it's called fishing and not catching! LOLOne of the highlights of our stay was the incredible abundance of manatees. We enjoyed watching them right from the dock at the house, and we saw even more down at the small campground/private boat launch just a few roads away. It was such a unique and memorable experience to see them so frequently and up close.Even though the fish weren't cooperating, we still had a relaxing and enjoyable trip. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while enjoying the area's natural beauty.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners communicated well and made the whole process easy! The home was very clean and the backyard was amazing!!! We really liked the location since we brought our boat, perfect size dock and right off the intracoastal waterway! Highly recommend!

Inviting and quiet

This property is inviting and very clean. The back yard is nicely landscaped and and well taken care of. For us it is the perfect location for fishing Mosquito Lagoon.

Manatee Heaven

We loved our stayed, watching the manatee coming in the morning and leaving at night. Close to everything without been in the middle of all the activities, quiet neighborhood. We will be back!

Spending time with a grandson

This was a great place and met all are expectations. All 3 of us enjoyed the kyacks and paddle boards. Grandson had a great time observing the manatees. The property was was very clean and well maintained. Hope to go back in April.

The house was spotless. It felt like home with all the amenities you’d need. We even had a small Easter dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the property was easy to get into and out. Plenty of room to park a boat and truck in the driveway too. The neighbors were respectable after introducing themselves on the dock. The dock was perfect for our boat and covered so we can fish and sit without burning. The manatees going to and from down the canal was amazing and we caught a few fish and crabs off the dock. We caught so many species off fish in the river and kayaked every day too. The owners really very nice and helpful. They responded quickly. The only downfall is there wasn’t a hot tub and having a daughter with autism struggled with that as she was expecting it and the living room could maybe use one more chair. We would definitely recommend this place in the future.

Fishing Trip

This place was great! We went there for a fishing trip and it was in a great location. Hardware store across the street sold bait. Boat ramp was right down the road and with electric and fresh water at the dock we decided to leave the boat in the water. The neighbors were great and introduced theirselves the firat day and even offered so of the shrimp the caught. The beds were nice, the kitchen was big and the outdoor area could not be beat. This was a great place to stay and we will definitely be back!

Great Stay

It is a lovely little home! Well stocked with blankets and very comfortable beds! The kitchen has almost everything you could want or need, loved it! Quiet neighborhood. We met the next door neighbor, he was very nice and offered suggestions of things to do and see. The thing that impressed me the most is how clean the home was, all the rooms were spotless, including bathrooms. We were very impressed! Thank you Jacques and Gala for a great short stay!

Clean and peaceful

My sister and husband , my son and myself enjoyed our stay. We had a full schedule with family and friends at Oak Hill on Lazy Z Lane . It was an emotional few day with my sons passing. Great location for boating!

We had a decent stay here, canal location with houses and double wides—watched nature several days on the boat dock! Not exactly what we expected on size of the 3rd bedroom—this is the twin bed room ok for children, as it is tight, no side table, no lamp, no where to set your things as there is not space for dresser. Used the beach chairs and umbrella three of the days, very nice touch!! New Smyrna Beach is 20 minutes away.

Convenient

Good location close to fishing grounds . Place was clean and plenty of room . The only bit of advice … invest in cable tv . The smart tv works if u have access to the apps from home Netflix and prime video but if ur like me it’s a struggle with sign in . Live tv is ok but standard cable I feel is more convenient to guests

Oak Hill Stay

We have stayed at VRBO properties in many locations. We have never had a host that was so helpful or checked on us so much. Not dropping by, although they made a point of coming by when we arrived to explain and show us everything, but texting to see if we needed anything. They had items there on our arrival such as soap, shampoo and conditioner, coffee filters, and many other items that we always need to go buy. Their directions and advice to local places to eat and shop along with fishing tips went way above what we are use too. The house is very well set up and was very clean with extra towels, and other items. We used the washer and dryer and they hade all the laundry soap and items there also. While most all of our stays at VRBO properties over the years have been good to great, this was the most attentive hosts we have ever had. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The home had everything we needed and was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We especially loved spending time in the outdoor area by the canal and on the dock—it was the perfect place to relax after a day on the water. We also enjoyed seeing so many manatees swimming right in the canal—it was such a special experience!There was plenty of parking for our boat trailer and two vehicles, which made everything so convenient. The boat ramp at Indian Mound Fish Camp is only about a mile away, making it incredibly easy to launch our boat. We also purchased our bait there, and the owners were so friendly and helpful, offering great tips on where to fish that made our time on the water even more enjoyable.The host was wonderful to work with. They were very responsive before and during our stay and provided excellent recommendations for local fishing spots and restaurants, which made our trip even better.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway.
