Beautiful Marathon Home

Very nice place only cons are the lack of water at the dock and fish cleaning station (had to use the hose from the front of the house) and no light control for the bottom grill area (had to use a flashlight). Other than that it was great!

Week Long Stay

This is a nice property in a great location on the Island. The listing was very accurate and the home was comfortable and clean. We had a few hiccups on check in and had trouble reaching the host at first. However, once we were able to communicate with the host for check-in things went great. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay

The property is immaculate, exceptionally clean, and in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything - with easy access to the ocean from the dock out back.The house is so comfortable, beautifully furnished, and includes everything you need to make it a home during your stay.The host was responsive and considerate. We will be back!

Beautiful island getaway

This property was lovely. Our family had the best time kayaking and riding bikes. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house was neat and clean with everything we needed. I can’t say enough good things about our time there.

Lovely and peaceful

Beautiful home, very quiet and peaceful, and a great location for visiting the Keys up and down US1! The owner was very responsive, which I really appreciated during check-in as I'm not technologically advanced and was new to coded locks. My husband and I have stayed in multiple VRBOs in the Keys and definitely found this one of our favorites!

Wonderfully Kept

Paradise Getaway is a a wonderful property that is neat as a pin and is everything the add says it is. The dock is a little tough for a 24' boat to tie up to but we made good use of the floating dock is worked great.

Welcome to Paradise

This is a beautiful home away from home. The kitchen is very well organized and has everything you need to do as much or as little cooking as you like. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio, grilling while enjoying the tropical surroundings. The property is centrally located to dining, shopping, gas and groceries. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Great location

Quiet and very comfortable. Interior of house spotless but a little smaller ( one floor, upstairs ) than appears. Great balcony/upper deck if bugs aren’t biting. Comfy furniture and great TVs. Location perfect for Marathon Key.

A few days back in paradise

The neighborhood is nice; neighbors friendly and helpful. The house was immaculately kept and nicely decorated. Kitchen nicely appointed, appliances new, and there was a choice of two types of coffee makers and plenty of mugs for coffee. Some paper towels, napkins, trash bags and TP were furnished along w/dish detergent & laundry soap. A big help. Adding a couple of forks more would be welcome. The beds are ok; a little squeaky. There is room for a king size bed that would be more comfortable for those 6’ tall. The a/c worked beautifully, but pre-set temps seemed to have the am/pm reversed. It got warm after 12:15am and cooled off around noon. The canal is certainly deep enough. I don’t think a vessel longer than our 31’ could turn around in the canal. Also, it was a tight squeeze between larger boats next door and directly across the canal from each other. But access to the Atlantic is easy. The water is, as always, gorgeous. Overall, we had a delightful few days away. Never long enough! We will be back!

Absolutely the Best in the Keys!

This property far exceeded our expectations! The owner is a very gracious host! Had a few additions (bicycles & kayaks) to the already primo setting that this VRBO has to offer! Beautifully furnished, comfortable, cozy and a pleasant and quiet neighborhood. Location was perfect for being able to see many attractions in the Keys. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay in Marathon

This is a great place to stay in Marathon, even if a little expensive. If you rent this place, make sure you bring additional cleaning supplies (including bathroom soap) and maybe a larger cooking pan as those provided will be minimal. Also ask in advance about the backyard deck facilities if you plan on using those, as everything there was disabled when we had our rental; which was okay. The owners/property managers take pride in maintaining this very nice property, and deserve our support. Overall, a great stay option for your vacation in the Keys; my son and I would definitely return if we decide to visit Marathon in the near future.

Great place to stay!

Great spot tucked away in a neighborhood with backyard canal access. Pictures are accurate and it was an easy check in process. Worked great for our family of 5.
