This was the most beautiful house we have ever stayed in with VRBO. It was so accommodating for our family and three grandchildren. The walk to the slopes was not bad about a quarter of a mile however we did take the shuttle most of the time. the Moving Mountains staff make sure that everything we needed was met in a very timely fashion. Would stay in this house again, but already checked for next year and I believe it is booked. Sooo Sad

Christas at Breckenridge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several homes in Breckenridge over the years. Rocky Mountain Lodge was absolutely the best. It was wonderful in every possible way. Though not the ski in-out we had been accustomed to, was close enough for that not to matter at all.

Wedding weekend perfection

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our long weekend stay- the house was complete perfection. It offered a great place to relax and enjoy family company while attending a wedding up there. I have no bad things to say- the house was fully equipped with every luxury. It was a great location to walk around cucumber gulch. Felt secluded. Plenty of natural light. Could go on and on!

Great ski weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Rocky Mountain Lodge with 3 families. The house is truly beautiful, full of high end amenities, and PLENTY of space for everyone. We loved the house itself! We were also fortunate to have INCREDIBLE skiing conditions while in Breck. The ski storage and boot dryers in the heated garage were awesome! That said, there is no planet where this home is a 7 minute walk to Peak 8. It was a 7-10 minute walk to the shuttle stop which is very close to peak 8. We ended up driving and either paying to park or taking turns driving/dropping off skiers. That was our only disappointment with this reservation. If you are traveling/skiing with kids, be prepared to drive and/or use the shuttle.

Dear Carrie and Rob, It was a pleasure to host you at Rocky Mountain Lodge and we're thrilled to hear that the home was such a good fit for your group. We are so sorry the home's location was advertised incorrectly and we thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have updated the info in the description to better explain the location and distance to the slopes - we always want to be transparent in that regard and we apologize that we failed at this for your stay. We hope you'll come visit us again next winter - thank you, Lauren & The Staff of Paragon Lodging

Great Summer 2020 Escape to Rocky Mountain Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great extended family getaway from Texas during summer of Covid! The house was awesome - great space for 6 of us to hang out, cook, eat, work, etc. Perfect location for walk out back door to trails and short walk down (and up) ski hill road to town. Even saw moose and deer out the back! Paragon staff great and helpful. The house could use some refreshed cutlery in kitchen, and something to keep the mosquitos away outside. Otherwise, no complaints, we would love to get back! Thank you!

Rocky Mountain Lodge Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic stay at Rocky Mountain Lodge. The proximity to Peak 8 was extremely convenient for ski school at Peak 8. We were also pleased to be out of the traffic of downtown Breck during the busy holiday week. We liked the layout with the master on the main floor and the 4 bedrooms on the bottom floor.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 2. apr. 2020
Hi Jenifer! Hopefully the kiddos left vacation as ski pros from using Peak 8's ski school. If not quite they just had a fabulous time. Thank you for sharing your stay with us and celebrating the arrival of our new decade! We wish you and your family a very prosperous 2020! - Lennie & The Staff of Paragon Lodging

Great stay in breckenridge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great stay in Rocky Mountain Lodge, three families. Kids loved the deep snow around the entire property to play in. Home has all the amenities you would ever need, even a boot dryer. Paragon Lodging provided excellent service. We had trouble with the fire pit and they sent maintenance right away to resolve. It is very close to Peak 8 base but too far to walk in ski boots. The free breck shuttle wasn't easy to time just right.

Johannes Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was beautifully appointed with wonderful amenities. Luxury bedding , towels , and a very inviting mountain decor. The only issue was / is the radiant heating throughout the house heated the home in a uneven way. The lower level with many of the bedrooms was uncomfortably warm . We had to open the windows on the lower level . We called the property manager and he tried to adjust the heating , but the floors continuously warm to stand on .

Hi Catherine - thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are happy that you enjoyed the great amenities at Rocky Mountain Lodge. We apologize for the issues you experienced with the heat - sometimes, this type of heating can take 12 to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature throughout the entire house which sometimes results in having to crack open a window or two. We hope you'll come back and see us again soon!

Dream house in a perfect location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is even more spectacular than the pictures. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect place for our group. The kitchen was huge and ideal for cooking big group meals, and there was a ton of room for everyone to read comfortably in a beautiful setting after a long day of skiing. Each room has its own bathroom which is ideal! And the hot tub was the perfect aprés ski oasis. The location was ideal, truly only a 7 minute walk to the best peak on the mountain, and just a short car ride, or free and incredibly easy gondola ride to downtown. We cannot say enough great things about this home and Paragon lodging for being fantastic to work with! Highly recommend and definitely plan on returning next year!!
